The Fountain Gate
The sixth gate that speaks about the christian life is the fountain gate. The fountain gate represents moving water and the Holy Spirit. Christians need to get filled daily with the Holy Spirit at the fountain gate to overcome sin and the troubles of this world. Jesus said at John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers (a fountain) of living water. But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified. When God created everything, the Holy Spirit was a fountain of moving water. Genesis 1:2 says And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. This is why christians sing the hymn Every time I feel the Spirit moving in my heart, I will pray.

And Sing Every Time I Feel The Spirit I Will Pray
I Guarantee That You Will Have Peace And Be Strengthened
When You Sing This Song; Jesus Bless You All.
After a christian gets saved at the sheep gate, witnesses Jesus at the fish gate, respects the old blessed ways of the bible at the old gate, overcomes the troubles of this world in the valley gate, and gets rid of the dung trash sin from his former sinful life at the dung gate, he needs to fill up with the Holy Spirit and replace his past sinful habits at the fountain gate. Galatians 5:16 says This I (Paul) say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
To be filled with the Spirit, every day study and read the 1611 KJV Word of God, pray, and fellowship with other christians at your local church. Word, Prayer, and Church fellowship daily will stop a person from sinning and bless them. If a christian stops reading the Word of God, stops praying, and stops fellowshipping at church, he will sin. It's not enough to just confess your sins. A christian must also forsake and stop sinning. Proverbs 28:13 says He that covereth his sons shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Christians need to stop sinning and get filled with the Spirit at the fountain gate to avoid trouble and death. Romans 6:23 says for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus left the Holy Spirit on this earth to comfort us and overcome the troubles of this world. Every day get filled with the Spirit while you read and study God's Word, pray, and fellowship, so you can overcome any worries, sickness, and troubles in this world.
Get saved and receive the Holy Spirit at the fountain gate
Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again
The fountain gate is mentioned at Nehemiah 3:15: But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. Note that there were many workers who built the fountain gate and the Hebrew definitions of the fountain gate workers all represent the Holy Spirit. Shallun means prosperous and peaceful because his father Colhozeh was all seeing and blessed by the Holy Spirit at the city of Mizpah that was a watchtower.
I'll list the names of the other workers and their Hebrew definitions that built the fountain gate listed from Nehemiah 3:16-25 that represent the Holy Spirit. Nehemiah means God comforts because the Holy Ghost is the Comforter. Azbuk means strong devastation because the Holy Spirit fights our battles and brings strong devastation to the devil. Zechariah 4:6 says Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. The city of Bethzur means House of the Rock because Jesus the Rock is one with the Holy Spirit. When you get saved with Jesus you receive the Holy Spirit.
Rehum means God's compassion and tender mercy to the children of God. Bani means builder. Jesus left the Holy Spirit on this earth to bring compassion and tender mercy to saved saints to overcome this troubled world and build strength. Hashabiah means God has considered. The city of Keilah means fortress. Jesus considered his saints and sent the Holy Spirit to be a fortress and protect them daily.
Bavai means a wisher that receives the desires of his heart. Henadad means the favor and grace of God. Because the Holy Spirit gives saints favor and grace, they receive the desires of their heart. Ezer means helper and Jeshua means God is salvation. The Holy Ghost is our helper and our salvation to overcome any trouble. Baruch means blessed and Zabbai means pure and flowing. Christians get blessed by the pure and flowing Holy Spirit at the fountain gate.
Next let's look at the worker named Baruch who built the fountain gate. Nehemiah 3:20 says After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest. Baruch was special and went the extra mile when he earnestly repaired the fountain gate. Baruch didn't just repair the fountain gate. Baruch earnestly repaired the fountain gate. Let's all be like Baruch and earnestly witness Jesus everywhere going the extra mile to tell people about Jesus. Let's deny our sinful flesh and not be selfish while we make every effort to earnestly witness Jesus everywhere to save lost sinners on this earth.
The Lord Jesus noted Baruch's extra earnest efforts and will remember christians' extra earnest efforts with greater rewards at the Bema judgment seat after the rapture. Rewards at the Bema judgment seat of Christ are determined by what sort (quality or earnest amount of effort) that you sacrificed while you witnessed Jesus everywhere on this earth. 1 Corinthians 3:13 says Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort (quality) it is.
Remember that if you only served the Lord Jesus halfheartedly and chose to enjoy temporary selfish desires instead of witnessing Jesus, your rewards at the Bema judgment seat in heaven will be diminished. Therefore witness Jesus and help poor orphans and widows with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let's all obey Mark 12:30 that says And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Jesus said at Matthew 25:40 Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Note that Meremoth was like Baruch and went the extra mile witnessing Jesus. Meremoth who earlier built the fish gate also built the fountain gate. Like Meremoth, after you complete a task for Jesus, continue to serve Jesus and be willing to complete new tasks for the Lord Jesus. There is no retirement when you witness about Jesus and save lost sinners. Meremoth means exaltations, elevations, and heights with Jesus. Urijah means God is my light. Like Meremoth, let the Holy Spirit by your light to exalt you to higher heights while you continue to serve our Lord Jesus.
Note the Hebrew definitions of the other workers who built the fountain gate that represent the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Benjamin means son of the right hand who is Jesus. Hashub means considerate and thoughtful. With Jesus and God's Spirit christians become considerate and thoughtful. Azariah means the Lord has helped us with the Comforter Holy Spirit. Maaseiah means a worker for God under God's Holy Ghost refuge. Ananiah means God has answered by covering us with the Holy Spirit's protection. Binnui means built up. Henadad means favor and grace of God. Christians are built up by the favor and grace of God's Holy Spirit.
Palal means praying. Uzai means strength. Pedaiah means God has ransomed and redeemed us by the blood of Jesus. Parosh means leaping and jumping for joy. When christians keep praying, the Holy Spirit will strengthen them. Christians will leap, jump, and shout for joy because they have been redeemed and set free by the precious blood of Jesus that removed their sins forever.
When A Person Gets Saved They Receive The Holy Spirit At Salvation
They Can Not Lose The Holy Spirit Or Their Salvation
Once Saved Always Saved
When a person gets saved with Jesus, they receive the Holy Spirit and can not lose the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. 1 John 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, The Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. When anyone receives Jesus, they also receive the Holy Spirit. You don't get saved with Jesus and then work to receive the Holy Spirit at a later date.
Note the following scriptures that prove that when a person gets saved they receive the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing or regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. In other words when Jesus saves anyone they are renewed and receive the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:9 says But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. In other words if a person does not have the Holy Spirit they are not saved. But when a person gets saved they belong to Jesus and have the Holy Spirit.
When a person confesses that Jesus is Lord to get saved, they say Jesus is Lord by the Holy Ghost and receive the Holy Spirit at salvation. 1 Corinthians 12:3 says Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed (a saved saint can not blaspheme the Holy Spirit; only an unsaved sinner can blaspheme the Holy Spirit): and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
John 14:26 tells us that the Holy Ghost is called the Comforter. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Jesus said at John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever. In other words after salvation with Jesus, the Holy Spirit abides with the saved saints for ever and they can not lose the Holy Spirit.
A saved saint in the church age dispensation of the grace of God can not lose the Holy Spirit after salvation. Once saved always saved for the church age saints. Jesus said at John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me: and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Jesus said at John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
In other words I might look like a rooster but I ain't ever been plucked out of God's hand and lost my salvation. I'm not holding God's hand where I can lose my salvation. Jesus' nail scarred hand is reaching down and holding my hand forever with the promise that Jesus gives me eternal life that can not be lost. And I can't jump out of God's hand because I'm in Christ married to Jesus and bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh (the bride of Christ). Romans 12:5 says that we are in Christ as His bride. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 2 Timothy 1:12 also says that we can't lose salvation. For the which cause I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He (Jesus and not our good works) is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.
Once saved always saved. You don't hope to have salvation, think you might have salvation, or wait to find out if you have salvation when you die; When you get saved and believe Jesus is God and the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again, you know right away presently that you have salvation and eternal life that can not be lost. Ignore people that say you have to keep doing good works to assure your salvation. If our good works saved us, we wouldn't need to trust in Jesus for salvation. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith (in Jesus alone); and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. You don't work to be saved; You work because you are saved. I would not work my soul to save for this my Lord has done but I would work like any slave for love of his dear Son. We do good works after salvation to let others see Jesus where later at the bema judgment seat after the rapture we will receive rewards for our good works.
Jesus promised at John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my Word and believeth on Him that sent me hath (presently right now) everlasting life (that can not be lost) and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. 1 Peter 1:5 promises Who are kept by the power of God (not our good works) through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Ephesians 4:30 says And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. When any saved church age saint gets saved and receives the Holy Spirit, they can not lose the Holy Spirit and are sealed unto the day of redemption (until the rapture when they receive glorified bodies and live forever with Jesus).
Even Though You Can't Lose The Holy Spirit After Salvation
Saved Saints Must Remain Full Of The Holy Spirit
To Overcome The Devil And The Troubled World
Even though you can't lose the Holy Spirit after salvation, saved saints must remain full of the Holy Spirit to overcome the devil and the troubled world. Ephesians 5:18 says And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess: but be filled (make full or fill to the full) with the spirit. Note that the Greek definition for being filled with the spirit is to make full or fill to the full. In other words the Holy Spirit always remains in a saved saint but daily needs to be replenished so the Holy Spirit can be filled to the full and overflowing to overcome the devil and this troubled world.
Saved Saints Are Occupied By Jesus And The The Holy Spirit
With No Vacancy For Any Devil
Tell The Devil Occupied No Vacancy
A devil can not possess a saved saint and enter into him but a devil can oppress a saved saint and burden him. 1 John 5:18 says We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not (the saved saints' soul and spirit don't sin but his body (flesh can continue to sin); but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one (the devil) toucheth him not. No devil can enter, touch, or possess a saved saint's body. Saved saints reading this anywhere tell the devil I'm occupied by Jesus and filled by the Holy Spirit and there is no vacancy for you devil. Devil you can't touch me and when I resist the devil, the devil must flee. James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Ephesians 4:27 says Neither give place to the devil. Jesus said at Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
