But God Bible Verses

Two Words Of Hope
BUT GOD

This bible study will look at many bible verses with the words but God to give us hope to overcome. Remember when things seem impossible, hopeless, and discouraging, we can all say but God. All things are possible with God and with the Lord Jesus we always have the victory and triumph no matter what it looks like. What a blessing to say but God can fix my problems when we face the troubles of this world. Don't react with stress to your problems; Instead present your requests to God in prayer and God will give you an answer and the peace of God that passeth all understanding. Right now rejoice and say a but God bible verse 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 73:26 But God Bible Verse

Our first but God bible verse is at Psalm 73:26 where King David said but God to overcome his depression when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. The blessed scripture says My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the strength of my heart. Remember to daily say I can do all things through Christ Jesus which stengtheneth me. Get saved right now and allow Jesus to be the strength of your life. Repent, confess Jesus to be your God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Remember to daily say like King David, the Lord Jesus is my strength. Each day say I am crucified with Christ and ask the angels to cover you in the blood of Jesus. No matter what problems are in your life, you can say but God (the Lord Jesus) is the strength of my heart. Tell the devil daily that I have overcome all my problems (worries, fears, and sickness) by the blood of the Lamb Jesus that is the same yesterday, today, and forever. How encouraging to have a place called the cross of Calvary to place all our troubles daily and according to Hebrews 2:14 when we by faith daily see our problems crucified with Christ they are destroyed forevermore and no longer exist.

Psalm 75:6 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse is at Psalm 75:6 that says For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge; He putteth down one and setteth up another. In other words, when it looks like promotion isn't anywhere around us in the east, west, or south, we can look up to Jesus and say but God is my judge and will promote me from the north. The old phrase says the outlooks bad, the downlooks worse, but the uplooks looking pretty good. And if you have the right uplook, you'll have the right outlook and tell everyone about Jesus trying to win souls daily. Remember Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption (Jesus) draweth nigh.

Luke 5:21 But God Bible Verse

The next but God bible verse at Luke 5:21 tells us that only the Lord Jesus can forgive sins. It says And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason saying Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone. When we feel guilty about our sins, how comforting to say but God who is Jesus alone can forgive all my sins and wash me white as snow in the blood of Jesus.

We don't have to visit a catholic priest to have our sins forgiven. Billy Kelly used to say I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a Latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father and to top it off he dresses like mama. Instead I can confess all my sins to the eternal high priest Jesus who is able to forgive all my sins and remember them no more. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (not a catholic pope or priest). And 1 John 1:9 promises If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 2:4 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse shows us the mercy and love of Jesus to lost sinners at Ephesians 2:4 that says But God, who is rich in mercy for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace are ye saved). And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

If you are reading this anywhere and say I've been too wicked for God to forgive me, remember you can say but God who is rich in mercy can wash away all my sins in the blood of Jesus and save my soul. Remember the thief on the cross by Jesus; This thief killed, raped, and was evil his entire life. But the thief's last words to Jesus were Lord remember me after repenting and saying he had sinned. Jesus replied Today thou shalt be with me in paradise and removed instantly all the thief's sins and promised him eternal life in heaven. Therefore, don't ever let your past sins stop you from getting saved. Come to Jesus as you are today and you can say but God who is rich in mercy has forgiven me and saved my soul. Jesus' invitation of salvation is to all people (even the worst of sinners). Revelation 22:17 tells us And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Luke 16:15 But God Bible Verse

The next bible verse at Luke 16:15 tells us what is important to God. Jesus told the Pharisees, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; But God knoweth your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. In other words whatever people in the world get excited about doesn't usually amount to a hill of beans with God. This is because James 4:4 tells us whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The things that are important to God are prayer, His Word, and witnessing and winning souls to the Lord Jesus. How much time have you spent today in the Word of God? Have you spent more time today in the Word of God than the time you spent on your cellphone texting or watching facebook, the news media, and youtube on the internet? Remember the thing that causes Jesus and the angels to rejoice in heaven is when a lost sinner repents and gets saved for Jesus. Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.  Instead of wasting time on the things of this world, start living for Jesus and daily winning souls.

Acts 7:9 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse at Acts 7:9 talks about how God never left Joseph and was always with him. The scripture says And the patriarchs moved with envy sold Joseph into Egypt, but God was with him. Joseph was thrown in a pit by his brothers, sold as a slave in Egypt, accused of rape by Potipher's wife, placed in prison in Egypt, and then blessed to be a ruler in Egypt. And Joseph was comforted throughout his entire life in the good and bad times because God was always with him.

Friend reading this anywhere, like Joseph when you get saved with the Lord Jesus, Jesus is always with you to comfort you with peace. Jesus promised us at Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. And Jesus also promised at Matthew 28:20 Lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Remember if God be for you, who could be against you?

In other words Jesus satisfies and all we need for happiness in this life is Jesus and His Word. Better is a dinner of herbs with love (Jesus) than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Better is a dry morsel with quietness thereof from Jesus than a house full of sacrifices and strife. Brother Bob says I'd rather live in my little apartment with my space heater and Jesus than in an elegant palace in the world without Jesus.

Acts 13:28 But God Bible Verse

Thank goodness for the next but God bible verse at Acts 13:28 that says God raised Jesus from the dead. What a blessing that when it looked like Jesus had no hope after three days in the grave, we can say but God raised Him from the dead. The blessed scripture says And though they found no cause of death in Him, yet desired they Pilate that He should be slain. And when they had fulfilled all that was written of Him, they took him down from the tree and laid Him in a sepulchre. But God raised Him from the dead.

Rejoice saints because Jesus is risen from the dead. The tomb of Jesus is empty. No pieces of hair, no bone fragments, nothing but dirt. And as the angel said He is not here for He is risen as He said. Buddha, Mohammad, and Confucious are still in their graves. But Jesus is God because Jesus is risen from the grave. And friend if you are saved and believe in the Lord Jesus, you also will be raised from the dead with a new glorified body like Jesus. Philippians 3:21 promises Who (Jesus) shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But God Bible Verse

This next but God bible verse encourages us to study the Word Of God where the Spirit will reveal infinite wisdom and blessings about the Lord Jesus. The scripture says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searcheth all things yea the deep things of God.

God's Word is like a new Christmas present. Every time you open God's Word, there is always something new that the Spirit can teach us. And you'll never get bored reading God's Word because there is infinite wisdom to be learned. This is proven by John 21:25 that says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. Keep reading your bible every day and be blessed by the many hidden revelations revealed by the Spirit that are hidden to the world.

1 Corinthians 3:6 But God Bible Verse

The next but God bible verse at 1 Corinthians 3:6 tells us that Jesus and not ourselves brings salvation and blessings. The scripture is Paul saying I have planted, Apolos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase. We are the vessels that God uses to preach salvation to lost sinners, but ultimately God giveth the increase and saves souls. In other words, let's get the focus off ourselves and tell people to exalt Jesus in everything. Like John the Baptist, lets all say I must decrease and He (Jesus) must increase.

Remember the words of Jesus telling us to remain humble and let's say Jesus we are unprofitable servants that are saved by grace exalting the Lord Jesus in everything. Jesus told us at Luke 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which was our duty to do. Like Brother Bob be content and thank Jesus saying Psalm 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

A But God Bible Verse About Epaphroditus

Next we see a but God bible verse about Epaphroditus where after he was sick unto death, Epaphroditus could say but God had mercy on me and healed me. Philippians 2:27 says For indeed he (Epaphroditus) was sick, nigh unto death, but God had mercy on Him and not on him only but on me (Paul) also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Like Epaphroditus and Paul, God will have mercy on you friends and heal you of any sickness. Lord Jesus let anyone reading this in Jesus name say but God had mercy on me and healed me from all worry, fear, and sickness. God is no respecter of persons; What God did for Epaphroditus and Paul, God will do for you friend. Like King David be healed and say Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

1 Peter 5:10 But God Bible Verse

This last but God bible verse for today at 1 Peter 5:10 tells us that God will strengthen and settle us with total victory over the devil. 1 Peter 5:8-10 says Be sober, be vigilent because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Friends the devil looks like a lion but he's all gums with no teeth that just makes a lot of noise. The real Lion of the tribe of Juda is Jesus who defeated the devil at the cross of Calvary. Remember with Jesus we have all power over all the power of the devil. The devil flees from the Jesus in us. James 4:7 promises Submit yourselves therefore to God, Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And if the devil reminds you of your past, remind the devil of his future. Tell the devil you're going to a sealed locked bottomless pit falling for 1000 years in torment with no bottom chained with a great chain and eventually devil you'll burn forever in torment in the lake of fire.

Final Poem About The Words But God
Every Time You See The Words But God
With The Lord Jesus We Have Hope To Overcome Any Trouble

There was a day when the earth was without form and void, but God said let there be light and there was light. There was a day when God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination and the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually but God chose Noah and gave the race a new start. There was a day when the chosen people of Israel languished under Egyptian bondage but God called Moses to set the people free to worship God in the promised land.

There was a day when it seemed that heaven had ceased speaking to earth but God returned on the banks of Jordan to speak through the voice of John the Baptist. Then there was a day of all days when man was in sin without a Saviour but God sent forth His Son named Jesus to save lost sinners from hell and give them eternal life. And though we now live in the midst of a sinful world where we see the darkest hour just before daylight, we can gladly say but God is coming soon in the person of His Son Jesus Christ to catch us up to the clouds where we are comforted in peace forevermore. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with great peace and strength.
