Respect The Blood Of Jesus And Receive Life Part Two

Today we will continue our discussion of respecting the blood of Jesus and receiving life. Throughout the bible we see that God always removed sin when He was presented with a sacrifice of the blood of an innocent animal. Today and for eternity, our Lord Jesus is called the innocent Lamb of God whose blood shed at the cross of Calvary can save anyone and remove their sins forevermore. John 1:29 says The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God (Jesus), which taketh away the sin of the world.  Right now rejoice and say 1 John 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. I pray in Jesus name all my friends everywhere can daily say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and tell the devil that the blood of Jesus has overcome you devil and cleansed me from all my sins.

Pictured above we see that God had to cover and remove Adam and Eve's sin of nakedness with coats of skins from the blood of innocent animals. At first, Adam and Eve sewed themselves fig leave aprons to cover their sin of nakedness. Genesis 3:7 says And the eyes of them both (Adam and Eve) were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. But the fig leaves were not good enough to cover Adam and Eve's nakedness.

When God saw Adam and Eve covered by fig leaves, Genesis 4:9 says And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he (Adam) said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself. You see Adam and Eve's fig leaves could not remove their guilt of sin and cover their nakedness. The only way God could cover and remove Adam and Eve's sin of nakedness was with coats of skins from the blood of innocent animals. Genesis 3:21 says Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins (the hide skins of animals), and clothed them.

You might say Brother Bob when God clothed Adam and Eve with innocent animal skins, did that make Adam and Eve a cave man and a cave woman? Nope, it made Adam and Eve a covered man and a covered woman. Covered by the blood of innocent animals. Friends reading this anywhere, there's no blood in a fig leaf. It took coats of  animal skins and the blood shed from innocent animals to cover sin and remove Adam and Eve's guilt of being naked.

The following scriptures prove that only the blood of the innocent Lamb of God Jesus can remove sin and daily give us victory over the devil. Hebrews 9:22 says And almost all things are by the law purged (cleansed) with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness and release from prison). Levitucus 17:11 also says For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement (cleansing, purging, and covering over sin) for the soul. Right now praise our Lord Jesus who was the innocent Lamb of God that willingly shed His own blood at the cross of Calvary for people everywhere to cleanse them from their sins forevermore.

Pictured above we see another example where only Abel's offering of the blood of an innocent Lamb was acceptable to God to remove sin. Cain's offering of his fruits and vegetables from his garden that he worked for was rejected by God and did not remove sin. Genesis 4:3 says And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock (the blood of an innocent Lamb) and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Friends everywhere, there's no blood in a turnip; there's no blood in a tater; It takes the blood of the innocent Lamb of God Jesus to cover and remove our sins forevermore. Pictured above Cain learned that his offering of the fruit of his ground to God by good works was rejected by God. Neighbor, remember good works don't save people. Faith in Jesus alone saves people. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Good people without Jesus go to hell; Only saved people with Jesus go to heaven.

Take time to read the following scriptures that prove that good works can not save anyone. These scriptures prove that only faith in the Lord Jesus who died for sinners and rose again can save anyone. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His (Jesus') mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Romans 4:5 says But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him (Jesus) that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

                     A LAMB                                          DIFFERENCE
                     THE LAMB                                      TOKEN
                     YOUR LAMB                                  MEMORIAL

You might say Brother Bob how do the words listed above relate to the blood of the innocent Lamb Jesus. Let's first look at the words A Lamb, The Lamb, and Your Lamb and learn how the Lord Jesus first is A Lamb (God in the flesh on this earth), then is The Lamb (The Only God Risen and Alive Forevermore in Heaven) and finally is Your Lamb (Becoming your personal Saviour if you receive the Lord Jesus). Hallelujah, Jesus becomes personal where Brother Bob and his friends everywhere can say Jesus is My Lamb that never leaves me nor forsakes me and removes all my sins.

Rejoice everyone everywhere, even though Jesus is The Lamb of God dwelling in the high and holy place, Jesus says to us all I'm Your Lamb and personal friend. Isaiah 57:15 says For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite (very small) ones. Jesus also said at John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

The scriptures that say a lamb, the lamb, and your lamb are at Exodus 12:3: Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man A Lamb, according to the house of their fathers, A Lamb for an house. And if the household be too little for The Lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for The Lamb. Your Lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats.

Now notice the three words difference, token, and memorial listed above that describe the blood of the Lamb Jesus that the Jews placed on their doors for protection from the angel of death. The blood of the Lamb Jesus was the difference that saved the Jews from the angel of death that killed the firstborn Egyptians. The blood of the Lamb Jesus was the token (the distinguishing mark or sign) that the angel of death noticed when he passed over the Jews homes while he killed the firstborn Egyptians. Finally the blood of the Lamb Jesus was the memorial that should be remembered forevermore as the most powerful weapon to overcome and defeat the devil and death.

Listed below are the scriptures about the blood of the Lamb Jesus being a difference, token, and memorial. Exodus 11:7 says But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye man know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. Exodus 12:13 says And the blood shall be to you for a token (sign) upon the houses where your are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

The blood of our Lamb the Lord Jesus is truly a memorial that is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever. The blood of Jesus is an everlasting covenant that will always overcome the devil and save any sinner from hell and death. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:20 says Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen. Right now let's all sing the new song given to all overcoming saints in heaven at Revelation 5:9: And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
