Mysteries Revealed By Jesus

For today's bible study, Brother Bob starts off by asking you all a question. What was the last act Jesus did on this earth? If you look at the above scripture you will discover that Jesus' last act on this earth was to save a lost sinner who was the thief by Him on the cross. Jesus truly fulfilled what He spoke at Luke 5:32 that says I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Look at the words of the thief by Jesus at Luke 23:42 that says And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily, I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Saint reading this anywhere, remember what Jesus told us to do at Mark 16:15 that says And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Wow, isn't it incredible how the thief got saved by calling Jesus Lord right at the cross. Like the thief at Luke 23:43, get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Notice, that the thief was drycleaned when he got saved, not needing to be baptized in water for salvation. Just by calling Jesus Lord at the cross with repentance and the thief's belief that Jesus died for him, was buried, and rose again gave the thief salvation. The thief got saved by remembering his momma's preaching about deliverance from Joel 2:32 that says And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord (JESUS), shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

Also, when we all think about the thief who was saved on the cross by Jesus, let's remember Romans 4:5 that says But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Notice that the thief did not have to do good works to be saved. All the thief had to do was repent, and confess that Jesus is God and believe the gospel that Jesus died for him on the cross, was buried, and rose again. DL Moody wrote that the thief had nails through both hands, so that he could not work; and a nail through each foot, so that he could not run errands for the Lord; he could not lift a hand or a foot toward his salvation; and yet Jesus offered him the gift of God, and he took it. Jesus threw the thief a passport, and took him with Him into paradise.

Here's a couple of scriptures that prove that faith in Jesus and not works saves people. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 13:3 says And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. This means without faith in charity or Jesus who is love and God, all our good works profit nothing.

Brother Bob has preached to many saying to obtain faith, one must constantly remember with their hearts Jesus Christ crucified, thanking Jesus daily for crucifying and destroying their worries and fears daily.  You see Galatians 5:6 tells us faith which worketh by love. And let me tell all my friends in all the nations love is Jesus Christ crucified because 1 John 4:10 says Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son (Jesus) to be the propitiation for our sins (when Jesus died on the cross for sinners). 1 John 3:16 also says Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down his life for us (this refers to Jesus dying for you friend on the cross of Calvary): and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. You see Jesus did the work at the cross, destroying the devil forevermore. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Well to sum it all up, to have faith and love where all things are possible, get Jesus who is God by remembering daily with your hearts Jesus Christ crucified because the Lord Jesus is love.

Let me state that the above picture reminds Brother Bob of when Mary anointed the feet of Jesus with costly spikenard. Like the little girl pictured above, friend reading this anywhere, show kindness to everyone around us while they are alive. What a blessing for the little girl to remember her grandmother with a gift of flowers while the grandmother was alive. Remember, just a phone call or a short letter of a simple kind word can heal and strengthen a person greatly. Mary in the bible showed kindness to Jesus while Jesus was alive and not at Jesus' grave.

Friend take time to read the story of how Mary blessed Jesus, valuing Jesus more than money or a material possession of costly spikenard. In Jesus name, Lord let all those who forevermore read this bible study, like Mary value the Lord Jesus more than any money, material thing, or anything this world has to offer. John 12:3 says Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for 300 pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

Friend, learn a lesson from Mary and her kind act to Jesus. Don't wait to say kind words about a person after that person is dead and gone. Like Mary, give your bouquets and flowers to a person while he or she lives and not later load down that person's coffin at a grave with your bouquets and flowers. Right now make up your mind to be like Mary and daily write and make phone calls saying kind words of prayers to encourage a fellow saint's day. May the Lord Jesus bless you while we follow Mary's example of showing kindness to the poor daily, thereby blessing Jesus.

You might all say what is Brother Bob doing now with a picture of beautiful sequoia trees above. How can this be biblical. Well let me state that these towering sequoia trees reminded Brother Bob of the tree of life that is Jesus (the way, the truth, and the life) in the kingdom of God. Saints take time to meditate on John 3:3 that says Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 1:11 tells us how to be born again and says He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. So according to John 1:11, a man is born again (born of God) when that man believes on the name of Jesus Christ or believes that Jesus is God because Jesus' name means Jehovah saves and Christ means Messiah Anointed with the same meaning as Emmanuel God With Us. Please research this out for yourselves on blueletterbible by looking up the names Christ and Emmanuel in Greek (both meaning Messiah God With Us) and you will discover that Jesus is God come in the flesh.

Now remember saint reading this anywhere, you must be born again to see the kingdom of God. And let me state that the sights in the kingdom of God are so much more spectacular than any sight we could witness on this earth. When you look at the picture above of the giant sequoias, let me quote DL Moody who wrote You might see many beautiful trees on this earth like the tall cedars and giant sequoias, but you must be born again to see the most magnificent tree of life (Jesus) in the kingdom of God.

You might look upon beautiful mansions and elegant palaces on this earth, but you must be born again to see the mansions that Jesus has prepared for his saints in the kingdom of God. You may see 10000 beautiful things in this world, but the glorious city named new Jerusalem that Abraham as a pilgrim and sojourner caught a glimpse of shall never be seen by a person unless he or she is born again. You might view the spectacular fading crowns that Napoleon and Caesar wore on this earth, but you must be born again to receive your own incorruptible crown that will never perish away.

OK, Brother Bob wanted to show all my friends two pictures above of two beautiful sights on this earth. Pictured above are Niagara Falls and Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria. Schonbrunn Palace is considered one of the most expensive palaces on the earth and Niagara Falls is considered to be the most phenomenal waterfall to be seen in any nation. But, let me prove to you all that the sights in the kingdom of God are more spectacular than Niagara Falls and Schonbrunn Palace.

The Apostle Paul stated that words can not describe how beautiful the kingdom of God with Jesus appears. 2 Corinthians 12:4 says How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Now look at the above pictures and note that DL Moody said you might see beautiful rivers and waterfalls like Niagara Falls on this earth, but you must be born again to see the river which bursts out from the throne of God and flows through the upper kingdom of God. You might visit kings and queens in palaces on this earth, but you must be born again to see Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords. You may be invited to many marriage feasts on this earth, but you will never attend the marriage supper of the Lamb except you are born again.

There is a song only sung in the kingdom of God that you can only hear by being born again called the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb. DL Moody stated you may hear the songs of Zion sung here on earth, but you must be born again to hear the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb sung only in the kingdom of God. The uncircumcised ear shall never hear the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb. Its melody will only gladden the ear of those who have been born again.

Saint reading this anywhere I am going to write out now for you the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb in our bibles and in Jesus name Lord Jesus grant peace and healing to all who sing this song forevermore while they read Brother Bob's book for Jesus. The Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb is recorded forever at Revelation 15:2 and says And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, (this refers to you believing saint in the Lord Jesus), stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the Song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, (Now saints sing these words and receive victory, peace, healing, and strength) Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

For Brother Bob's next picture, notice how the Lord Jesus controlled nature and how the fig tree withered at just a word from Jesus. Let me prove to you all that Jesus is God and controls nature. When God in Genesis 1 spoke to nature, nature obeyed God. God said let there be light and there was light. God said Let the waters bring forth and the waters brought forth abundantly. Jesus is God because the Lord Jesus spoke to nature like the fig tree above and the fig tree withered and obeyed the word from Jesus.

The story about the above picture is at Mark 11:13 and says And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. Now notice the result at Mark 11:20 that says And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Jesus is God and can speak to nature and have nature obey His word. The wind and sea obeyed the word of the Lord Jesus at Mark 4:39: And He (Jesus) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:41 says And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him? Notice also that the Lord Jesus spoke to devils, and the devils fled. The Lord Jesus spoke to the grave when He said Lazarus come forth, and the grave obeyed Him and gave back its dead.

Now I want you friend reading this in any nation to think on the fact that if nature obeys the word of Jesus, we as believers should also believe and obey every word spoken in our bibles by Jesus. Take time saints to meditate on 1 Samuel 15:22 that says And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. I pray in Jesus name that all saints who read this forevermore will like nature immediately obey and respond to the Word of God's instructions and blessings.

For Brother Bob's final thought for today please read Genesis 15:1 that says After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. DL Moody stated that I'd rather have Jesus the God of heaven as my Protector than all the armies and navies of this world. Romans 8:31 says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Isaiah 59:19 says So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard (defined in Hebrew that the devil will disappear and flee quickly) against him.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
