You Can Depend On Jesus

Today I start off my bible study by showing you all a picture of Jesus above the earth and greater than any man. Remember saint reading this all things are possible with Jesus. When man says no, Jesus can say yes. Hebrews 13:6 says So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. The bible verse to Brother Bob that sums up the picture above would have to be Isaiah 40:22 that says It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.

Look at these awesome scriptures that prove that Jesus is above and greater than any man on this earth and rejoice and praise Jesus for his preeminence. Job 11:7 says Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; What canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. Look at what David said about the Lord Jesus when he was trying to build Jesus a house at 2 Chronicles 2:6: But who is able to build Him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? who am I then, that I should build Him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before Him?

Lift up your hands and wave your hands at Jesus and say out loud Exodus 15:11; Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? And let us always remember Colossians 1:16 showing the majesty of Jesus above mankind. Colossians 1:16 reads For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell.

Remember saint reading this to be saved you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Almighty God and not just a great prophet or teacher or just the Son of God. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead. This week Jesus showed me a powerful verse in the bible that proves that Jesus is Almighty God and not just a man, great prophet, or teacher. Jesus Himself quoted in Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The Almighty. In Greek, the word Almighty is called Almighty God and Jesus Himself proclaimed that He is Almighty God. Tell Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and Jews that Jesus proclaimed that He is Almighty God (not only a man, great prophet, teacher, and Son of God).

Isaiah 40:15 proves that all the nations' current powers with missles, nuclear bombs, and weapons from China, USA, Russia, Iran, and Israel are just a drop in the bucket and considered less than nothing compared to Jesus who is the Captain of the Lord's Host that in Hebrew means Jesus is the Captain General of God's Army of Host Angels headed by the warring archangel Michael. We all can truly rejoice with the Apostle Paul when I quote Romans 8:31 that says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Isaiah 40:15 reads Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, He taketh up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering. All nations before Him are as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity.

OK everyone, how about the picture above of a camel going through the eye of a needle. To understand this picture we must ask the Holy Spirit to bring understanding to the bible verse Matthew 19:23 that says Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again, I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The answer to the parable of the picture above of the camel going through the eye of the needle to enter the kingdom of God is that a saved person who left all his possessions in this world for Jesus would make it to the kingdom of God quicker than a rich person who held on to all his earthly possessions. The verse above says it is hard for a rich man to part with his riches and enter the kingdom of God. I'm not saying a rich person can not make it to the kingdom of God. I'm just saying it is hard for rich people to come to Jesus when they trust in their riches instead of Jesus. Jesus showed Brother Bob that the true church was represented in the book of Genesis 24:61 by Rebekah who left all her riches and everything to go to her husband Isaac who represents Jesus and lo and behold Rebekah came to Isaac on a camel. All things are possible with Jesus. The bride Rebekah truly had her camel go through the eye of the needle and entered into the kingdom of God with her husband Isaac. Like Rebekah, all those who forevermore read this and trust in Jesus instead of their riches will become the bride entering into the kingdom of God, rejoicing in a wedding ceremony to their bridegroom Jesus.

Remember saint reading this the warning listed at Matthew 6:24 that says No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other; Ye cannot serve God and mammon (riches). This is why when a saint tries to serve Jesus and preach Jesus Christ crucified, his enemies that hate him are those false religious people who love money more than Jesus. This reminds me of the Pharisees and Saducees who crucified Jesus agreeing with Judas who loved a measly thirty pieces of silver more than our Lord Jesus to betray Jesus.

I often think of my friend in the Lord Brother Carl telling me Bobby when Jesus comes back many rich people will be weighed down with their material possessions and not be able to be caught up into the clouds in the air to meet Jesus. These rich people will say to Jesus at this time Oh my car, house, silver, and gold where the weight of these perishing possessions will prevent these rich people from entering into the kingdom of God. Hebrews 12:1 says Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Also, take heed to the prophet Ezekiel's warning at Ezekiel 7:19 that says They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

OK everybody you might all say what is Brother Bob up to now with a picture above of Jesus next to a clock. Brother Bob wants to prove a point to you all that Jesus unlike time on the clock never changes. You can depend on Jesus who never changes and is always your friend. Friends, family, places, and this world constantly change but Jesus who is God and who is love never changes. Meditate on the verses listed below that prove that Jesus never changes and Hallelujah we can all trust in Jesus who is an unmoveable anchor of our soul that is constant and unchanging.

Malachi 3:6 says For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Hebrews 6:19 says Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. James 1:17 says Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness (note no variableness in Greek means Jesus never changes), neither shadow of turning.

When people sing the song Rock of Ages it is the truth because Jesus truly is an unchanging Rock that never changes for many ages and generations. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH (Jesus) is everlasting strength (everlasting Rock of Ages). Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Isaiah 40:6 tells us The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the Spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.

OK my final thought today for this bible study is to tell you all that for the election of 2012 Brother Bob is voting for Jesus. Brother Bob has decided to put his total trust in Jesus instead of any president, leader, governor, senator, or nation. Hallelujah Jesus for 2012. I encourage anyone forevermore reading this bible study to put your trust in Jesus and not man and will prove that Jesus and his Word ask us all to trust Jesus more than man. Psalm 118:8 says It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the bible; Psalm 118 is the middle chapter in the bible; Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the bible about the bible. The very center verse of the KJV Bible is Psalm 118:8 that says It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It's amazing that only in a King James bible will you discover that the two middle words of the bible at Psalm 118:8 are the Lord. Also there are 594 chapters before Psalm 118 and there are 594 chapters after Psalm 118. 594+594=1188-118:8 is the middle verse of the bible.

Wow, look at all these bible scriptures that tell us to place our trust in Jesus and not in man. Psalm 146:3 says Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man (earthly people), in whom there is no help. Micah 7:5 says Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. Proverbs 10:2 says treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness (Jesus) delivereth from death.

Now everyone reading this take heed to the warning from the prophet Jeremiah about trusting the Lord Jesus and not man. Jeremiah 17:5 says Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath (destitute, strippped, naked, and helpless) in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Now contrast Jeremiah 17:5 with Jeremiah 17:7 that says Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
