Focusing On Jesus

Friends, today I give you all a comforting picture of two thrones, one for Jesus and one for all believers in Jesus. O Christian reading this being persecuted and labouring daily to win souls to Jesus, one day you will soon sit on the throne of glory pictured above with our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus name to all who read this, I claim a promise of Revelation 3:21 to strengthen every person that reads this bible study. Revelation 3:21 says To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.

I encourage you saint reading this that your labour is not in vain. Keep blessing the poor, visiting the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and staying unspotted from the world. Jesus will reward you. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Hebrews 6:10 says For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Jesus told me to tell all who read this forevermore that you will be blessed and strengthened as you continue daily to bless the poor and share the good news about our Lord Jesus Christ and how Jesus was crucified.

Friend reading this rejoice, one day you and all believers in Jesus will see Jesus as King on the throne pictured above. Isaiah 33:17 says Thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty. They shall behold the land that is very far off. Let us all be like David and say Jesus this is my one desire and agree with David when he said at Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.

Remember just one day with Jesus will be better than 1000 days on this earth in the most fabulous extravagent palace. Saint reading this rejoice as you meditate on these gems from the Word of God. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Psalm 84:10 says For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield. the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk unprightly. Matthew 5:8 says Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.

OK I know you all are saying Brother Bob is at it again with a picture of a cow in front of pilled or peeled white straked or striped chestnut, hazel, and green poplar trees in the background. Well as always Brother Bob says the above picture is very biblical and reminds Brother Bob of Jacob when he caused the cattle to multiply and become strong by just looking at white straked or striped green poplar, hazel, and chestnut trees. This week Jesus gave Brother Bob a revelation from heaven about this wonderful story of Jacob and how he was able to multiply the number of strong cattle that he possessed.

Friend reading this, I encourage you like the cattle to look daily to Jesus Christ crucified by faith with your hearts and see the white strakes or stripes of Jesus and be healed and claim forevermore thank you Jesus for destroying all my fears, worries, and burdens for eternity. Tell the devil daily like Paul, devil it is finished, I am crucified with Christ. According to Hebrews 2:14 Jesus has destroyed all our problems past, present, and future at the cross of Calvary. 2 Corinthians 2:14 promises Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.

Jesus showed Brother Bob that the white peeled or pilled strakes or stripes in the trees represent the stripes of Jesus and saint reading this I claim for you all 1 Peter 2:24 that by Jesus' stripes you are healed. Stripes in Greek is defined as all the sorrows and pains that all believers have experienced past, present, and future. Friend, Jesus carried all your worries, fears, sorrows, and pains and destroyed them forever at the cross and glory to you Lord Jesus, for by Jesus' stripes we all are healed. Friend reading this Jesus told me to tell all those reading this to receive a blessing and say Revelation 5:12: Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Now the wonderful story about the picture above and Jacob is at Genesis 30:37 and reads And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chestnut tree; and pilled (peeled) white strakes (defined as stripes) (note the strakes or Jesus' stripes are white because they are washed white as snow by the blood of Jesus)(so when you view the stripes of Jesus they are white washed by the blood of Jesus Hallelujah) in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle, ringstraked, speckled, and spotted. And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle. And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But, when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

Finally, as a side note, remember friend reading this when you and all of us come back to the kingdom on the new earth with Jesus we all will be riding on white horses. Jesus showed Brother Bob that the horses are white because the horses are also washed white as snow in the blood of Jesus Hallelujah. Also, wave your hands at Jesus and praise Jesus that the blood of Jesus has forever washed away all our scarlet sins. I could run a marathon for joy as I quote Isaiah 1:18 that says Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. A puritan writer in 1662 wrote scarlet was so deep a dye, that all the art of man could not take the scarlet away. But, hallelujah, glory to you Jesus, the blood of Jesus will forevermore make a scarlet sinner a milk white pure saint.

Friend reading this take a look at the wonderful picture of Moses at a place called Pisgah which is defined as the cleft in the Rock. We all need to be like Moses and daily meditate and take a look at the soon coming Kingdom of God by faith with our hearts. Colossians 3:1 says If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. And let me give you all a revelation. Daily like Moses we can all go to Pisgah which is looking at Jesus Christ crucified in our hearts by faith for the Rock is Jesus and we can always hide in Jesus who is the cleft of the Rock or Pisgah.

The wonderful story about the picture above occurs at Deuteronomy 3:27 and reads Get thee up into the top of Pisgah and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes; for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. But, charge Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him, for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Friend, as you look to the kingdom at Pisgah with Jesus remember 1 Corinthians 2:9 that says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Hallelujah the Spirit will reveal to us all what Paul defined as unspeakable about your glorious kingdom. 2 Corinthians 12:4 says How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Saint reading this Jesus told me to have you say this and as you say the next verse you will receive peace and strength. Psalm 57:7 says My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise.

Finally, to end of today's bible study Brother Bob tells you all to look and focus on Jesus in the picture or mirror above. Lord Jesus I pray all who forevermore read this will daily fix their eyes and their hearts on you Lord Jesus and thank you daily Lord Jesus for dying for them at the cross. Listed below are several promises in God's Word of blessings and peace you will receive as you daily remember these wonderful scriptures.

Psalm 16:8 says I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good shall come unto thee. John 17:3 says And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent. Everyone reading this like Moses praise Jesus and say what is written at Exodus 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

In closing today, I give you all a quote to think about from a puritan around 1672. Eternity to the godly is a day which hath no sun setting, and to the wicked, a night which hath no sun rising. Truly it is always daytime and light in the kingdom with Jesus as the Light and always blackness of darkness forever in hell. Jude 11 says Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. Jude 13 says Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. But Hallelujah with Jesus in His Kingdom we forevermore will have Light and Daytime and there will never be darkness and nighttime. Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 21:23 says And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof.

Look To Jesus Who Is One With The Holy Ghost

Praise the Lord saints. Today Brother Bob wants you to view the beautiful picture above of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who is one with the Holy Ghost represented by the dove on Jesus shoulder. Matthew 3:16 says And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him. Today Brother Bob will show you by many scriptures from the Word of God that when a person gets saved, repents, decides to stop sinning, confesses that Jesus is God, and believes the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again, at the moment of salvation that person receives the Holy Ghost.

This bible study will show you scripturally how to be saved and receive the Holy Ghost. Brother Bob tells people everywhere not to judge and say a person does not have the Spirit or is not saved. We should not judge and say someone is not saved or does not have the Holy Ghost or Spirit of God. Christians should rather point their fingers back at themselves and work out their own salvation. We should tell others how to be saved but not judge other people. Philippians 2:12 says Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Romans 14:13 says Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Now Brother Bob is excited today to give you an awesome revelation given to me by Jesus about a basic truth of salvation. Romans 10:9 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Notice two things must occur before someone is saved. First that person must repent and confess with his mouth that Jesus is God and not just a man, teacher, prophet, or only the Son of God. Second with the heart that person must believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, was buried, and rose again.

Now important point: To believe in the resurrection of Jesus one must first believe in Jesus Christ crucified. You can't put the cart before the horse. The cross must be believed upon before one receives the power of the resurrection. And, when a person believes with his heart in Jesus Christ crucified that person automatically receives the power of the resurrection. Romans 6:5 says For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection. Philippians 3:10 says That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.

This is why the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 2:2 says For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Galatians 6:14 says But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Now to the next major topic. When a person gets saved, at the point of their salvation that person also receives the Holy Spirit. There are several scriptures that speak to this subject that I'll list. First, Romans 8:9 says But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. This scripture proves that when a person receives Jesus and salvation, they also receive the Holy Ghost. Only if a person does not have Jesus and is not saved does that person not have the Holy Ghost. Second, Ephesians 1:13 says In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. In Greek, the words after that ye believed means at the point of salvation while believing a person receives and is sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise which is the earnest or downpayment of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

Now many people might say that the Holy Ghost comes after salvation. But here are some more scriptures that state that the Holy Ghost is received at the point of salvation. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. You see we were all saved by the renewing of the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost was present at the moment of salvation.1 Corinthians 12:3 says Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Wow, remember I quoted above that to be saved one must confess with his mouth Jesus is Lord.. Well, according to 1 Corinthians 12:3 one can only confess Jesus is Lord by the Holy Ghost proving that the Holy Ghost is present at the point of salvation.

Also, note a very important verse on how to receive the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:2 says For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Notice it is a law of the Spirit of life. Laws are set and can not be changed. But also notice that to receive the Spirit of life, it is In Christ Jesus. So when a person by faith looks to the cross of Jesus with his or her heart, they automatically receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation with power.

Now my final point on this matter asks the question Why did the apostles have to wait fifty days until the day of Pentecost to receive the Holy Ghost? To address this issue, one must look at two scriptures. First, Jesus appeared to the disciples at John 20:22 and stated And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Then later on at Acts 1:4 it says And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. After fifty days to fulfill bible prophecy, on the day of Pentecost all the apostles were filled with the Holy Ghost.

First, in addressing the issue of the timing on when the apostles received the Holy Ghost, Brother Bob states to you all that Jesus will never force salvation upon someone. For every person there might be a different time when they get saved and receive the Holy Ghost. Note that Jesus just stated at John 20:22 Receive ye the Holy Ghost but did not force the apostles to be saved and receive the Holy Ghost. Also, note that Judas Iscariot was not among the apostles that Jesus appeared to and that Matthias had not yet been selected to be the apostle that replaced Judas Iscariot. But in Acts 2 all the apostles including Matthias got saved and filled with Holy Ghost. Each apostle received salvation and the Holy Ghost in Acts 2 and got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Again, Brother Bob states do not judge any person about when or whether that person or bible character is saved. It could be at various times but we should just tell people how to be saved and pray like Jesus that all men come to repentance and salvation. We should all just work out our own salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Brother Bob tells all people reading this bible study, preach to others to be saved and receive the Holy Ghost at the moment of salvation because Jesus desires all people to be saved and filled with the precious Holy Ghost.

Now, saints I want you all to look at the wonderful picture above of Jesus offering the bread and wine to us all to daily remember what Jesus did for us all at the cross of Calvary. The story of Jesus offering bread and wine is recorded at 1 Corinthians 11:24 and states And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come.

Brother Bob says when you look at the above picture of Jesus offering you bread and wine, often remember daily every moment Jesus Christ crucified with your hearts. Jesus told us all often to take the bread and wine by faith with our hearts and remember that daily we can all place our worries, fears, and burdens on Jesus Christ crucified. You see communion is more than a wafer and grape juice. It's a constant remembrance of what our Lord Jesus did for us all at the cross of Calvary by faith with our hearts daily. Also Brother Bob says that after you give your problems to Jesus on the cross remember to thank Jesus for dying for you and giving you a chance to have peace. 1 Peter 5:7 says Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Finally, it is interesting to note that Jesus was Melchizedek who appeared to Abraham and offered Abraham bread and wine telling Abraham that the reason for any of his victories was because Jesus died for him at the cross and destroyed all his problems forever. Melchizedek is Jesus because Hebrews 7:3 describes Melchizedek: Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, not end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. The communion Melchizedek had with Abraham is noted at Genesis 14:18 and says And Melchizedek King of Salem (King of Righteousness and King of Peace who is Jesus) brought forth bread and wine: and He was the priest of the most High God. And He blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most High God, possessor of heaven and earth.

Finally, for today I give you all a wonderful picture of Jesus telling Nicodemus at nighttime you must be born again. The story of the above picture is quoted at John 3:3 and says Jesus answered and said unto Him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus replied at John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

It took Brother Bob almost twenty years to fully understand what it means to be truly born again. The answer to this question can be found at John 1:11 and reads He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. So according to John 1:11 to be born of God or born again one must believe on the name of Jesus.

Now finally to end up this bible study today, Brother Bob says when a person gets saved and born again, no devil can possess or enter into that person. The devil might oppress a christian but it is impossible for that christian to be possessed by the devil. The scripture that proves this point is 1 John 5:18 that says We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one (the devil) toucheth him not. You see when a person gets saved and born again, the devil can never touch or possess or enter into that saved christian. One last revelation that Brother Bob heard from a preacher this week. Look at John 9:35 that says Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God. Note the KJV (King James Version) bibles read Son of God. Other translated bibles say Son of Man.

Brother Bob says just read the KJV bible. Jesus is the Son of God not just the Son of Man. Jesus is God, came from God by a virgin and these translated bibles are in error and insult Jesus by saying He did not come from God but was just the Son of Man. Brother Bob says to all reading this get a KJV bible and read the KJV only to truly understand the word. Then go to the website blueletterbible and in the search box type any word and check the box in the upper right corner strongs concordance above the verse to see numbers by each word. Left click the numbers and then you can see the Hebrew and Greek meanings for every word in the bible.

Thanks for all your support and prayers from all over the world. Please pray for Brother Bob to continue to write these bible studies. Email me anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133. The book for Jesus continues and Jesus gets all the glory. Fix Your Eyes On Jesus

For this week's bible study notice the picture above and let us all be like the little children and keep looking to Jesus constantly. Here's some wonderful scriptures that tell us all to constantly fix all our eyes on Jesus Christ crucified with our hearts daily. Psalm 25:15 says Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 34:5 says They looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Now Brother Bob says look again at the picture above and I claim in Jesus name wherever anyone is reading this bible study Lord Jesus let that person know that you are constantly watching over them and protecting them from all troubles. People might sleep and forget Jesus but Jesus never sleeps and like a shepherd is constantly watching over you all and preserving you all from all troubles. Psalm 121:4 says Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:7 says The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Here are a couple of Brother Bob's favorite all time scriptures about how Jesus loves us and never forgets us like a mother remembering her little baby and how unfortunately some christians forget Jesus spoken by the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah. Isaiah 49:15 says Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Jeremiah 2:32 says Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Brother Bob often asks people I meet in the supermarket or on a crowded bus, when was the last time you thought on the Word of God or took time to talk to Jesus. Unfortunately some people have answered weeks, months, and sometimes years ago. I encourage all who read this bible study to abide by Psalm 1 and delight yourself daily in the Word of God and meditate on the Word of God day and night. Joshua 1:8 tells us that we all will be prosperous and have good success if we all just take time daily to talk to Jesus and study his wonderful Word.

Brother Bob encourages all who read these words to be excited and joyful about the Word of God like you discovered a great treasure. Psalm 119:162 says I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil. Matthew 13:45 says Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Brother Bob tells you all that the pearl of great price is Jesus and when we give all we have to the poor widows and orphans we build treasure in heaven and eventually obtain Jesus who is the pearl of great price.

Remember, when we all see the kingdom of God some day, each of the twelve gates will have a pearl in them. Gate means door and Hallelujah Jesus is the door or gate to enter the glorious kingdom of God. An oyster creates a pearl when some dirt or sand gets in his shell and irritates the oyster and the oyster produces a pearl. Jesus suffered and was irritated at the cross of Calvary because of all our dirty filthy sins and removed our sins forever by His precious blood creating a beautiful pearl at each of the twelve gates of the kingdom of God.

Everyone, take a look at the picture above of how the soldiers that came to take Jesus to the cross fell backward showing that Jesus willingly offered himself to be sacrificed for all our sins on the cross. No man could kill or harm Jesus because Jesus is God. Jesus loved us all so much that Jesus himself rejoiced to die for us all at the cross of Calvary to deliver us all from sin and give us all eternal life. Philippians 2:8 says And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The Holy Spirit showed Brother Bob that no man could kill Jesus because Jesus represents life. When Jesus was on the earth, Jesus put the undertakers out of business because no one died in the presence of Jesus. Jesus raised the widow of Nain's son from his bier (coffin) and raised Lazarus from the dead after Lazarus was in a tomb for four days. People tried to kill Jesus. The Pharisees tried to throw Jesus off a cliff or brow but Jesus walked right through the midst of the Pharisees unharmed. The Pharisees tried to kill Jesus on the cross by poisoning Jesus with vinegar but Hallelujah Jesus only tasted but did not drink the vinegar. Also Jesus had already given up the ghost before they came to try to break his legs. Therefore the Roman soldiers did not break Jesus' legs or any of Jesus' bones. If the Roman soldiers broke Jesus' legs, the Roman soldiers would have killed Jesus.  Hallelujah, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 34:20: He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Saint reading this Jesus loved you and gave His own life so you could live today. Today right now get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

OK, now take a look at the picture above again of the soldiers. An ancient puritan writer wrote that the soldiers or officers that went to apprehend Jesus were apprehended by Jesus. This quote reminds Brother Bob of Philippians 3:12 that says Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Like the soldiers above people try by works to apprehend or come to Jesus but Jesus by grace apprehends or saves us all. We didn't choose Jesus. Jesus chose us all by grace when we believe in Jesus Christ crucified with our hearts daily and accept his free gift of salvation. Ephesians 1:4 says According because He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Ephesians 2 8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The scripture that refers to the picture above is at John 18:6 and reads As soon then as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Also, Brother Bob discovered that when the soldiers went to arrest Jesus the Pharisees got frustrated because the soldiers got saved and could not arrest Jesus. John 7:43 says So there was division among the people because of Him. And some of them would have taken Him; but no man laid hands on Him. Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought Him? The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? Wow, the soldiers who tried to arrest Jesus and crucify Jesus got saved.

OK, to end up this lesson about the soldiers who got saved by Jesus, the Holy Ghost gave Brother Bob a vision of how the actual blood of Jesus saved the soldiers that crucified Jesus. Here is a listing of all the soldiers that had the actual blood of Jesus cover them when they crucified Jesus that I believe cleansed them and washed the soldiers from their sins. Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. 1) The soldiers pounding the nails into Jesus' hands and feet had the blood of Jesus spray all over them. 2) The soldier placing the crown of thorns on the head of Jesus got the blood of Jesus on his hands. 3) The soldiers casting lots for the garment Jesus wore got the blood of Jesus on their hands because Jesus' garment was covered with blood from the stripes on his body. 4) Finally, after the soldier pierced Jesus' side, the blood of Jesus and water came out like a river on that soldier and washed the soldier from his sins.

Notice, not just blood came out of Jesus' side, but blood and water because the blood of Jesus washes us all from our sins. One of Brother Bob's favorite songs is There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel's veins; and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. And glory to Jesus, the fountain of Jesus' blood was recorded by the prophet Zechariah at Zechariah 13:1 that says In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.  Brother Bob believes the soldier that pierced Jesus' side got saved and washed by the actual blood of Jesus because Mark 15:39 says And when the centurion, which stood over against Him, saw that He so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

OK, to end up this weeks bible study, I give you all a picture of money with wings. Again, you might all say Brother Bob is at it again. But yes this picture is very scriptural. Proverbs 23:5 says Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. A puritan writer wrote in 1644 "Rich men have passed over this life, as men do pass over sleep, imagining themselves to have golden mountains and rocks of diamonds, but when they awake at the day of death, they find themselves to have nothing." Brother Bob encourages all who forevermore read this bible study to look to Jesus and the Word that lasts forever and not on money that flies away and disappears.

Take heed to the warning of Psalm 76:5 and do not trust and love money more than Jesus. Psalm 76:5 says The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands. In Hebrew this means that later in life, the stouthearted rich men found nothing in their hands. Hallelujah Jesus, money might disappear, but thank you Lord Jesus, you never change and remain forever and the true reward for us all is Jesus.

Saint reading this rejoice while you read these scriptures that prove that Jesus will last forever and never change. Malachi 3:6 says For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Psalm 119:89 says For ever O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Revelation 1:4 says John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne. Lets all be like the Apostle Paul and say Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of  the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. I pray in Jesus name saint after you read this that you can lift your hands to Jesus and say Lord Jesus I only need Jesus and rejoice in my reward Jesus only.

Finally, to end this week's bible study, Brother Bob asks you all a question. Do you want to do something good today? Brother Bob says the answer to this question is Thank God and Jesus because Psalm 92:1 says It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Also, Brother Bob gives you all a shortcut to put on the armor of God. Romans 13:14 says But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. In other words when you daily say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and look with your heart by faith at the cross of Calvary, you have put on the whole armor of God that is Jesus (who is the armour of light). Romans 13:12 says The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light (Jesus). And Jesus said at John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Finally here are two of Brother Bob's favorite quotes. 1) "A praying man will quit sinning but a sinning man will quit praying." 2) "Persecuted piety is better than prospering profaneness."

Brother Bob has truly enjoyed writing this bible study today. I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Jesus Jesus Jesus

Today I give you all the picture above of a precious little girl happy as she drinks a cup of cold water to relieve her thirst. And yes this picture above relates to one of Brother Bob's favorite bible verses. Proverbs 25:25 says As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Everyone the good news which is so refreshing to our souls as a cup of cold water is the gospel message of Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected with eternal life. Romans 1:16 says For  I am not ashamed of the gospel (defined as good news) of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Let me share a revelation the Holy Ghost taught Brother Bob with you all. Open your bibles to 1 Corinthians 1:17 and meditate on this verse which defines to us all what the gospel is. The verse says For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the GOSPEL; not with wisdom of words, lest the CROSS of Christ should be made of none effect. This verse tells us all that the gospel is the message of the cross of Christ. I encourage anyone reading this bible study to daily with their hearts by faith see Jesus Christ crucified and receive power by knowing as they cast their worries fears and problems on the cross of Christ that they can say I am crucified with Christ and thank you Jesus for destroying my problems forever at the cross. Hebrews 2:14. Lord Jesus let all who read this forevermore remember Luke 9:23 that says And He said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The word gospel is also defined at 1 Corinthians 15:1 and says Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; Verse 3 says what the gospel is. It reads For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Notice that 1 Corinthians 15 also includes the fact of the resurrection for the definition of the gospel.

People have asked Brother Bob over the years, Brother Bob why do you only stress Jesus Christ crucified and not also the resurrection. My answer is this: You can't put the cart before the horse. At the cross and not at the resurrection was where the blood of Jesus Christ was shed. And to defeat and overcome the devil we must preach Christ crucified because Revelation 12:10 says we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb shed at the cross and not at the resurrection which is the same yesterday, today, and forever Hebrews 13:8. And, if you preach Jesus Christ crucified you automatically will receive the power of the resurrection. Let me prove this to you by two bible verses. First Romans 6:5 says For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. Philippians 3:10 says That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death. You see you automatically receive the power of the resurrection when you say I am crucified with Christ by faith and see the cross with your heart being made conformable unto His death.

Now since we have established by the Word of God that the message of the gospel is Christ crucified lets study the Apostle Paul's warning about preaching only Christ crucified as the gospel and not any other religious message of good works or prosperity messages. Galatians 1:8-9 says But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Wow, Paul is saying twice if we do not preach Christ crucified we are cursed. After Brother Bob studied this scripture, I vowed to Jesus that I would constantly remind everyone to daily focus on Jesus Christ crucified and daily thank Jesus for dying for them at the cross of Calvary. The Apostle Paul at 1 Corinthians 2:2 stated For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Also Galatians 6:14 says But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

OK everyone, Brother Bob celebrated when he found the picture above which Brother Bob had been searching for for 10 years. I must state that it is one of the most accurate and phenomenal pictures of a bible scene that I've ever looked at. Whoever drew this cartoon picture was highly anointed. The picture above is of the harlot Rahab's house that was spared from destruction in Jericho because she placed a scarlet thread outside her window. Jesus showed me that since scarlet is red, the scarlet thread represented the blood of Jesus and the Lord told Joshua, I see the blood of Jesus over Rahab's house and destruction must pass over Rahab.

According to the bible Rahab feared Jesus and housed Joshua's spies and protected them. Because of Rahab's kindness the spies made an agreement that if she placed a scarlet thread outside her window, when their leader Joshua came to destroy Jericho and saw her scarlet thread, Rahab's household would be spared and live. Joshua 2:18 says Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by, and thou shalt bring thy father and thy mother and thy brethren and all thy father's household home unto thee. The story of Rahab's rescue from destruction is at Joshua 6:22 and says But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house and bring out thence the woman and all that she hath as ye sware unto her. Verse 24 says And they burnt the city with fire and all that was therein; only the silver and the gold and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.

Now take a good look at the picture above and I'll show you how awesome the picture is. First notice that the priests in the front of the picture are blowing the ram's horns and shouting on the seventh day while holding the ark which is accurately stated in Joshua 6. Also, my good friend Wes Strawser pointed out to me that the priests could not talk until they shouted on the seventh day as they encircled Jericho. Jesus told Wes that if the priests talked they might have been discouraged and lost hope.

But the most incredible thing about the picture above is that currently in Jericho today, the walls of Jericho still exist. Hebrews 11:30 tells us By faith the walls of Jericho fell down (defined in Greek as to descend from a higher place to a lower), after they were compassed about seven days. An archeologist named Kathleen Kenyon in the 1950's discovered these walls of Jericho that sunk into the ground. Yes the walls of Jericho still exist today and prove that the bible is true and accurate. The Jericho walls did not crumble but remained, as they just sank into the ground. As a testimony to the accuracy of the bible, Kathleen Kenyon also discovered Rahab's house on a wall that did not sink into the ground. Joshua 2:15 tells us that Rahab's house was upon the town wall but her house on that part of the wall did not sink and is still above ground to this day as a testimony that the bible is true and accurate.

Jesus gave Brother Bob a revelation about the picture of Rahab's house above several years ago. Jesus showed me that Joshua which means salvation represents Jesus coming to save the saints in the clouds. Notice that trumpets were blown before Rahab was caught up to be with Jesus. Well, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel (this is Michael the only archangel of the bible), and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jesus showed Brother Bob that one of the sweetest sounds a saint will ever hear will be when the trumpet blows to tell us that we soon will be caught up to be with Jesus in a moment and a twinkling of an eye when we all shall be changed from mortality to immortality Hallelujah. Also, it is interesting to note that Rahab was a sinful harlot prostitute and to Brother Bob Rahab represents the true church of God for we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God but thank you Jesus for your blood you shed which saves us all from destruction.

OK everyone my next picture is when the children of Israel placed the blood of the Lamb Jesus on their doors and were saved from the angel of death. It is such a blessing that we all can have a safe place to hide in Jesus from the troubles around us like the children of Israel above and Rahab who also trusted in the blood of Jesus. Jesus showed me that as saints like the children of Israel we might hear great cries of trouble around us but if we stay by faith under the blood of Jesus trouble and destruction must pass over us. I pray Lord Jesus everyone who will read this bible study past present and future will by faith daily hide under the blood of Jesus as they remember Jesus Christ crucified.

The story about the picture above is at Exodus 12:23 and says For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. Verse 29 describes the great cry the children of Israel heard outside their doors. Hallelujah saints, the blood of Jesus will protect us all from these troubles around us. Verse 29 says And it came to pass that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt from the firstborn of Pharoah that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharoah rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Now saints meditate on these listings of scriptures which show that Jesus as God is your safety place from the troubles of this world. One of Brother Bob's favorite scriptures of all time was stated by the prophet Isaiah at Isaiah 26:20 and says Come my people, enter thou into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee; hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation (defined as trouble) be overpast (to Brother Bob this means when Jesus sees the blood of Jesus trouble must pass over you).

OK notice that Isaiah above is telling us to shut the door and hide in the chamber of Jesus. Jesus showed Brother Bob this represents the Key of David which all saints in Jesus have and when Jesus shuts a door no man can open that door and cause trouble. Revelation 3:7 says And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the Key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth. Now remember the flip side of Revelation 3:7 and in Jesus name I claim for all who read this bible study that when Jesus opens a door for any saint of God by favour, no man who is jealous or hates the Jesus in us will be able to shut this open door of favour. Psalm 5:12 says For thou Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Here's some more scriptures of Jesus as God and your safety place from troubles. Psalm 27:5 says For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion (defined as the lair of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah who is Jesus); in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me, He shall set me up upon a rock. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 1 Samuel 22:23 says Abide thou with me, fear not. For He that seeketh my life seeketh thy life; but with me thou shalt be in safeguard. Psalm 91:4 says He shall cover thee with His feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Job 5:22 says At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh. Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

OK to end my bible study today I give you all a great picture of a mom forgetting all her problems and rejoicing to see her beautiful baby. Hallelujah like this mother pictured above all the saints of God when they arrive at the glorious kingdom to be with Jesus forevermore will forget all the problems and persecutions they experienced in this world on earth. John 16:21 describes the picture above and says A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour has come; but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Here are two of Brother Bob's favorite verses in the Word of God that prove that the saints of Jesus will forget and not remember the persecutions and sufferings of this evil world when we see Jesus in the kingdom. Isaiah 65:17 says For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Revelation 21:1 says And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
