Jesus Can Do Anything

Jesus Can Do Anything
1) Jesus Can Create Something Out Of Nothing
Inspired After Reading George Swinnock (1627-1673)
The Incomparibleness Of God At The Link Below

Jesus can create something out of nothing. Job 26:7 says He (The Lord Jesus) stretcheth out the north over the empty place and hangeth the earth upon nothing. He bindeth up the waters in the thick clouds and the cloud is not rent under them. Take time to ponder this amazing quote from George Swinnock and praise Jesus. "The air that surrounds the earth and ocean cannot hold up a feather, yet in the air hangs the massive earth and seas weighing tons of pounds where Jesus' power is the only pillar that supports and bears up this earth with its seas."

Nothing is holding up this earth except the power of God's spoken Word Jesus. Jesus can create something out of nothing with just His Word. Remember with man things are impossible; But with God all things are possible. Jesus told us at Mark 10:27 With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible. If you are facing an impossible situation, trust Jesus to fix your problems by faith because with God all things are possible. Jesus is able to bless anyone and do the impossible. When man says no, God can say yes and fix anything.

Next consider Isaiah 40:12 that says Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of His hand and meted (measured) out heaven with the span (the distance from the thumb to the little finger on an outstretched hand) and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance. Wow the Lord Jesus is so big that he can measure the entire universe with just the distance from His thumb to his little finger on His outstretched hand. Every person on this earth is just a little tiny dot compared to our huge powerful Lord Jesus.

The Lord Jesus said at Isaiah 66:1 The heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool. But even though Jesus is so much greater than man, Jesus shows mercy and extends love to humble and contrite people offering free salvation and blessings to those who receive His free gift. Isaiah 57:15 says For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 42:3 explains God's mercy saying A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench; He shall bring forth judgment unto truth. Right now accept Jesus' free gift of salvation; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Jesus Can Do Anything
2) Jesus Can Make The Sun Stand Still And Controls Time
Jesus Tells The Number And Names Of The Stars With Infinite Understanding

Jesus is so powerful that He can control time and make the sun stand still, go back in time, and go forward in time. Joshua whose name also is Jesus said at Joshua 10:12 Sun stand thou still upon Gibeon and thou moon in the valley of Ajalon; And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down about a whole day. Wow God can make time stand still and has power over everything. Job prophesied that Joshua could make the sun stand still at Job 9:7 that says (God) which commandeth the sun and it riseth not and sealeth up the stars.

George Swinnock spoke about how Joshua had the sun stand still saying "It is natural for the sun to move and run strongly and swiftly with the milky way galaxy at a speed of 43000 mph northward. But the Lord Jesus through Joshua made the sun stand still where it couldn't creep at a snail's pace." In fact astronomers have discovered that a day was lost in history proving that the bible is correct and that Joshua had time and the sun stand still for an entire day.

You see Jesus inhabiteth eternity according to Isaiah 57:15 and is not limited by time. 2 Peter 3:8 tells us But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Psalm 90:4 says For a thousand years in thy sight (Lord Jesus) are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Now notice that 2 Corinthians 5:8 says that when someone is absent from the body, they are present with the Lord in eternity not limited by time. When anyone is in their body on the earth they are limited by time and dispensations. But after a saved person leaves their body they are with Jesus in eternity and not limited by time. Like Jesus, they can go back or forward in time and even have time stand still with Jesus. In other words when a saint leaves their body on this earth they can go forward into eternity millions of years to the blessed kingdom of God with glorified bodies past the rapture and millenial dispensations.

It's amazing to me that according to Revelation 20:11 during the Great White Throne judgment after Jesus burns up the present heavens and earth with fire, the Great White Throne judgment will occur in eternity with no heavens and earth. The unbelievers will be judged by Jesus and cast into the lake of fire while standing on nothing but space in eternity. Only after the Great White Throne judgment at Revelation 21:1 will God create a new heaven and a new earth that holds the holy city the new Jerusalem where all the saved saints will live forever in peace. And Isaiah 66:22 tells us that saved saints won't just live in one heaven forever (but in many heavens forever); For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. You won't get bored in eternity with Jesus while you explore the infinite beautiful heavens that our Lord Jesus has created for our peace and joy.

Jesus is so powerful that He allowed Hezekiah to go back in time and relive 15 years when the dial of Ahaz went backward (not down and forward) ten degrees (2 Kings 20:9-11). Jesus is so powerful that He allowed Moses to go forward in time thousands of years from his burial place after death to an appearance with the Lord Jesus and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-4). The Lord Jesus' name (I AM THAT I AM) stated at Exodus 3:14 is not limited by time and always exists in eternity. Praise Jesus who has power over time and dwells in eternity with His saved saints who also are not limited by time after they leave their earthly bodies.

Finally, the Lord Jesus can tell the exact number of the billions of stars and also know the names of every one of the billions of stars. Praise Jesus while you say Psalm 147:4 He (Jesus) telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power; His understanding is infinite. Rejoice and say Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

3) Jesus Can Make The Wind Blow Or Make The Wind Cease

Jesus has the power to make the wind blow or make the wind cease. George Swinnock said "Even when men can't control or stop stormy winds that rush forth with an irresistable force, Jesus has power over the wind to make it cease or blow again." Jesus made the wind cease during a storm on a boat with his disciples. Matthew 8:26 says And He (Jesus) saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. And the Lord Jesus can also make the wind blow stated at Psalm 147:18 that says He (Jesus) causeth His wind to blow and the waters flow.

Note the incredible power of the Lord Jesus while you say Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in His fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if thou cast tell? George Swinnock said "Proverbs 30:4 tells us that the Lord Jesus hath gathered the wind in His fists; In other words Jesus can hold the wind fast in His fists or let the wind loose by just opening His fists." Wow what a powerful God the Lord Jesus is who can stop a tornado or cyclone by just gathering the wind in his fists.

The Lord Jesus made the wind blow with the blast of His nostrils when he parted the Red Sea; Then the Lord Jesus blew upon the Egyptians and their chariots in the Red Sea and drowned Pharoah, his army, and his chariots. Exodus 15:8 says And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow with the wind, the sea covered them; they sank as lead in the mighty waters. Who is like unto thee, O Lord among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Today Egyptian chariots with their wheels were discovered at the bottom of the Red Sea proving that the bible is true and that God did blow upon and drown the Egyptians in the Red Sea). Click this youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzb4ekyX1kc and watch evidence that Egyptian chariot wheels covered by coral exist at the bottom of the Red Sea.
