Remember Prayer Is The Way To Receive Blessings

Remember Prayer Is The Way To Receive Blessings

Today we learn that we must pray daily to receive blessings. And keep praying and asking Jesus to fix your problems. Constantly ask over and over again because your faith will increase the more you ask. Remember quitters never win and winners never quit. Keep asking for your needs and eventually you will receive blessings and answers to your prayers.

Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. It's a true saying when people say if at first you don't succeed try try again. A man in the bible at Luke 11:5-9 got blessed because of his importunity (persistence) in asking for bread from his friend at midnight. Because he kept knocking on his friend's door over and over again asking for bread, he got blessed and received three loaves of bread.

James 4:2 says Ye have not, because ye ask not. Jesus is waiting for you to tell him to fix your troubles. Just pray in Jesus name and tell God what needs to be fixed daily and if you are persistent and keep believing you will receive your blessing. When someone says if you ask God more than once for anything you have no faith, this is wrong. Our Lord Jesus prayed the same words of a prayer three times in the garden of Gesthemene.

Just ASK Jesus In Prayer To Fix Your Problems
Luke 11:9 Tells Us To (ASK) A Ask S Seek K Knock
Ask and it shall be given you
Seek and ye shall find
Knock and it shall be opened unto you

Blessed Quotes About Prayer From Peter Ruckman

1) For unsaved lost people, prayer is the last extremity
For saved christians prayer is the first necessity

2) Unsaved lost people say the last thing to do about anything is pray
Saved christians say the first thing to do before you try anything is pray

3) Prayer isn't something you pull out when you get in a tight spot and hope it will work
Prayer is something you pull out before you get in a tight spot to get you through

4) A man once said I've got so much wood to cut; I haven't got time to sharpen this axe
That's like saying I've got so many things to do, I haven't got time to pray
Instead we should say I've got so many things to do, I gotta pray

Click the youtube link below and sing with the African children
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Remember take it (all your problems) to the Lord in prayer
Keep praying everyone

Below are the words for the blessed hymn What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Sing these blessed words with the African children and be healed with peace

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer

O what peace we often forfeit
Oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations
Is there trouble anywhere
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Are we weak and heavy laden
Cumbered with a load of care
Precious Saviour still our refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Do thy friends despise forsake thee
Take it to the Lord in prayer
In His arms He'll take and shield thee
Thou wilt find a solace there

How Wives Should Pray For Their Husbands

Dr. Peter Ruckman told a story about how wives should pray for their husbands. One day a lady told a preacher I'm always talking to my husband about God and I can't do a thing with him. The preacher replied if you spend more time talking to God about your husband, maybe you'd get some results and your husband would get saved. This is the reason most unbelievers don't get saved; It's because christians fail to pray to God for lost unsaved sinners.

Remember prayer will always be the way to receive blessings. God promised us at Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. And 1 Timothy 2:1 promises that prayer will bless us with a quiet and peaceable life saying I exhort therefore that, first of all, supplications (defined as continuous pleading with God), prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men. For kings and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

Finally, remember that when you pray for other people, God heals you. James 5:16 promises Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Also prayer will save you from unnecessary troubles. King David experienced many problems because he chose to look at beautiful Bathsheba instead of praying. If David was praying instead of looking at Bathsheba from a roof, he could have avoided committing adultery with Bathsheba and wouldn't have murdered Bathsheba's husband Uriah. If Simon Peter was praying instead of warming himself by the fire of unbelievers, he would have avoided denying Jesus three times and the shame of sin.

I hope everyone learns a valuable lesson from this bible study about the importance of prayer and telling Jesus daily in prayer what you need fixed. I promise you that whatever you ask in faith for Jesus to do, he will give it to you. Why not get saved today because Jesus is a friend that sticketh closer than any brother. Just repent, decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus to be your Lord, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Jesus bless you all.
