The Benefits Of The Name Of Jesus

  A STORY BEFORE TODAY'S LESSON
SOMEONE ASKED BROTHER BOB HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO ISRAEL
BROTHER BOB SAID NO
THEN THEY SAID ARE YOU PLANNING TO VISIT ISRAEL SOON
BROTHER BOB SAID YES
AND I DON'T NEED A PLANE TICKET ON EL AL ISRAELI AIRLINES
PICTURED ABOVE
SOON I'LL BE CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS TO BE WITH JESUS
COME BACK TO THIS EARTH WITH JESUS ON A WHITE HORSE
TO RULE AND REIGN WITH JESUS FOR 1000 YEARS
IN JERUSALEM ISRAEL AS A KING AND A PRIEST

OK ANOTHER STORY ABOUT AN EAGLET WHO LIVED WITH THE CHICKENS
PICTURED ABOVE
There once was an eaglet that came down from a migration into a barnyard
and liked it so much that he stayed in the barnyard with the chickens.
When his companions flew overhead, the eaglet's first impulse was to join them
but he had fed too well and could rise no higher than the eaves of the barn.
The day came when his old fellow travelers could fly overhead without his even hearing their call.

Many christians are like this eaglet who once mounted up with wings like eagles
but are now content to live in the barnyard of this world.
They may have a momentary impulse to sing
My heart has no desire to stay where doubts arise and fears dismay
But they have fed too well and settle in this world's barnyard
and the day comes when they no longer respond to the call from on high.

Friends don't be like this eaglet
Remember the world is our enemy
Be not deceived; Evil communications corrupt good manners.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.
Witness to unsaved sinners in public places showing them the love of Jesus
but don't be with unsaved sinners in their homes when they drink and do drugs.

Alright, for today's lesson let's look at the many benefits of the name of Jesus. First the name of Jesus is a saving name. Pictured above Acts 4:12 says neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Romans 10:13 also says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.

Buddha, Mohammed, Gandhi, and Allah can't save anyone. Only the name of Jesus can save anyone. Water baptism, works, and wafers won't save anyone; People have asked Brother Bob what plan do you offer for salvation. Brother Bob tells these people I don't offer a plan; I offer a person named Jesus for salvation. Salvation's not in a plan, church membership, or shaking hands with a six foot spiritual icicle after church; Salvation's in a person named Jesus. Right now get saved; repent, stop sinning, and make Jesus God of your life, believing daily that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

And take time to read two more bible scriptures that prove that only the name of Jesus can save anyone. Mattthew 1:21 says And she (Mary) shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. Also John 1:12 says But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Next we see pictured above that the name of Jesus defeats the devil. Jesus said at Mark 16:17 in my name shall they cast out devils. Luke 10:17 also says And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Friends remember the promise of Psalm 91:11 For He (Jesus) shall give his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways; they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. When you pray daily say, in the name of Jesus, I give my angels power to bind the devil and his demons and cast them into the pit of hell and lake of fire.

The reason christians should cast the devil and his demons into the pit of hell and lake of fire is stated at Psalm 140:9-10. Speak this scripture: As for the head of those that compass me about (the devil) let the mischief of their own lips cover them. Let burning coals fall upon them; let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. The bible tells us to tell our angels in the name of Jesus to cast the devil into the deep pits of hell and the lake of fire because the devil can not rise up again from these places.

Another benefit about the name of Jesus is stated at Philippians 2:9: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth (even the devil has to bow his knee to Jesus) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Truly there is power in the name of Jesus. Many politicians, governors, and senators are afraid to mention the name of Jesus in their speeches. Instead they say bless God, bless the Lord, but they won't say bless Jesus. But one day soon, Jesus will be King of this earth for 1000 years in Jerusalem and every nation will have to say bless King Jesus to receive any blessing.

Notice also the second picture of Colossians 3:17 that says And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. Friends everywhere, believe the promise Jesus said about His name at John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Brother Bob believes this: I pray in Jesus name that anyone on this earth that reads these words will always be healed and get saved and live forevermore in peace with Jesus. In the name of Jesus bless the saints reading this to be able to minister, travel, and reach multitudes on this earth with the gospel message of salvation by our Lord Jesus.

Another benefit about the name of Jesus is seen at Acts 5:40 pictured above where saints can rejoice that they are counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. Remember, the reason saints are persecuted by this world and enemies is (not because of us) (it's because of Jesus in us). 1 Peter 4:14 tells us how to respond when we are persecuted because of the name of Jesus; The scripture says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy (not depressed) are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you; on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.

I pray in Jesus name that all my friends all over this earth can live Luke 6:22 and say I'm blessed when men shall hate me, and when they shall separate me from their company (Brother Bob is blessed and rejoicing because all my Jewish relatives have nothing to do with me because of Jesus), and shall reproach me, and cast out my name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake (because of the name of Jesus). I'm gonna rejoice in that day and leap for joy (and like Brother Bob find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy with no shame) for behold my reward is great in heaven.

Lord Jesus let us all be like the apostles who rejoiced after they were beaten for speaking in the name of Jesus. Acts 5:40 says And when they had called the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. and daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

And finally the name of Jesus brings healing and peace. After Peter spoke the name of Jesus Christ to the lame man pictured above, the lame man was healed. Acts 3:6 says Then Peter said (to the lame man), Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Here's how the lame man described his healing; First there was a lameness, then a look, then a limp, and then a leap of joy OR  First there was a look, then a lifting, then life in the ankles and then a leap. And Acts 4:10 again proclaimed that the lame man was healed by the name of Jesus saying Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.

And to conclude the name of Jesus is a strong tower where saints can find safety. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and is safe. Brother Bob has had the name of Jesus on his apartment door for 27 years and has been safe from all harm. Every time I close my apartment door I say the name of Jesus is on my apartment door and my home is safe. I encourage my friends everywhere to place the name of Jesus on the doors of their homes and everywhere (in their cars) to stop the devil from stealing, killing, and destroying. Remember the name of Jesus will cast out the devil.

My friend Sheba once told me Brother Bob what will stop people from coming through the windows of my home and stealing. I told Sheba to put the name of Jesus on her front and back doors. The next day I rejoiced when I saw the name of Jesus on every door and window of Sheba's house. And wow Sheba and her kids have been blessed for 15 years and nothing has been stolen or harmed from their home.

Now, since the name of Jesus has many blessings and benefits, take time to left click this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyPT3lVSpmo&list=PLBA13EE4AD3A8B6E1&index=186 and sing All hail the power of Jesus' name about the benefits of the name of Jesus. I pray in Jesus name that multitudes of people all over this earth will sing the hymn All hail the power of Jesus' name and receive peace and strength as they sing and view this blessed youtube video. Jesus bless all my friends all over this earth from Russia, South Korea, India and the USA. If you have been blessed by this lesson, remember the advice from Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord (Jesus) our God.

I pray in Jesus name this bible lesson blesses and saves multitudes all over this earth.      OK, for today's lesson Brother Bob asks my friends everywhere Are you rejoicing about the blessed hope? The picture above tells us what the blessed hope is at Titus 2:13 saying Looking for that blessed hope (that is) the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (when Jesus appears in the clouds to meet the caught up living and dead in Christ saints with eternal blessings). Right now get saved, repent, stop sinning, make Jesus God of your life, and daily believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again and become a saint rejoicing in the blessed hope.

Friends all over this earth, we should all be looking for this blessed hope every second of the day, rejoicing that Jesus could soon gloriously appear in the clouds, catching up saints to Jesus to leave this wretched earth and receive peace with our Lord Jesus forevermore. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 promises For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Today multitudes of people do not rejoice in this blessed hope. Most people love this world more than Jesus. They want to enjoy and stay with their money, mansions, palaces, gold, and silver on this earth instead of getting caught up to live in eternal peace with Jesus in the clouds. These people don't want to leave their earthly wealth. I have news for these unbelievers in Jesus as God; 2 Peter 3:10 says the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Only the Word, Jesus, and what we do for Jesus will last forever. Jesus said at Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Romans 5:1-2 tells us to rejoice in the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the clouds to meet His saints with eternal peace. This scripture says Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (note Romans 5:2 tells us to rejoice in the blessed hope of Jesus' soon glorious return and appearance as God in the clouds). Friend reading this anywhere, Are you rejoicing in this blessed hope?  Just the thought that Jesus could appear any second where saints leave this sin cursed world should make anyone rejoice and leap for joy. It's so much better to be with Jesus than on this earth in the most expensive mansion with billions of dollars.

Alright, let's see some blessings saints receive if they look for the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the clouds. Take time to say Philippians 3:20-21 pictured above For our conversation is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (looking for the blessed hope of Jesus' appearance in the clouds). Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able also to subdue all things unto Himself.

We should all rejoice while we look for the blessed hope when Jesus will soon change our vile bodies to be fashioned like unto His glorious body. When the saints meet Jesus in the clouds during the blessed hope and receive glorious bodies, no one will be blind, deaf, lame, or dumb; The hospitals and funeral homes will no longer exist because there will be no more sickness or death with our Lord Jesus during His 1000 year millennial reign on earth and in the kingdom forevermore.

Rejoice and say Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. Also say Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.

OK, let's see what else occurs when a saint rejoices and looks for the blessed hope. According to 1 John 3:2-3 pictured above if anyone looks for the blessed hope of Jesus' soon return to earth in the clouds to meet and bless His saints, they will want to live a holy pure life on this earth. The scripture says Beloved, now are we the sons of God and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when He shall appear (in the clouds) we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is; And every man that hath this hope (the blessed hope) in him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure. Wow, whenever someone rejoices and looks for the blessed hope, they stop sinning and become holy, sanctified, and pure.

Brother Bob tells all my friends everywhere don't let Him (Jesus) catch you with your work undone. If you live every second rejoicing and looking for the blessed hope that Jesus could return in the clouds the next moment, you'll become holy, sanctified, and pure. Unfortunately, most people today are hobknobbing around with all the sins of the day; buying lottery tickets, shooting dice, playing poker, shacking up, committing adultery, taking drugs, and drinking whiskey. These sinners practice sin constantly with no shame. Saints can sin but they don't practice sin like lost unbelievers in Jesus as God. 1 John 3:6 says Whosoever abideth in Him (Jesus) sinneth not (these are saints who are ashamed when they sin and do not practice sin when they look for the blessed hope Jesus); whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him (these are unbelievers who don't know Jesus is God who constantly practice sin with no shame).

The bible warns us not to commit the same sins done by the children of Israel during the days of Moses. Their sins and punishment were written for examples that we should not lust after evil things. 1 Corinthians 10:7 tells us Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them, as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples; and they are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come. Friends, heed these examples; remember avoid the punishment that the people received during the days of Moses by looking joyfully for the blessed hope which makes saints holy, sanctified, pure, and blessed with Jesus.

Alright, as we all rejoice and look for the blessed hope, you might ask When is the Lord Jesus coming back? Brother Bob says the answer is in a little while. Hebrews 10:36-37 promises For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. for yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Jesus is coming back in a little while. I don't know how long a little while is but it won't be long now. You better get ready friends all over this earth; Jesus is coming back soon. Jesus said at 2 Corinthians 6:2 I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee, behold, now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation.

A STORY ABOUT A BLESSED 100 YEAR OLD WOMAN

Do you think she's telling the truth?

The preacher replied Yes
My preaching's getting better all the time

Alright, today we will learn that the Day of Christ is not the Day Of The Lord. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 tells us what will happen on the Day of Christ pictured above. This scripture says Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day Of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

Note that the RSV (Revised Slandered Version) and NIV (Non Inspired Version) perversion translations of the bible substitute the Day of the Lord for the Day of Christ in 2 Thessalonians 2:2. Only the KJV King James bible correctly lists the Day Of Christ at 2 Thessalonians 2:2. This is a big deal. If this scripture said Day of the Lord, saints would have to go through the tribulation. And all the saints will not be here for one second of the tribulation mess. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 tells us only he who now letteth (restrains) will let (means the Holy Ghost in saints holds back and restrains the appearance of the antichrist) until he be taken out of the way (saints getting caught up to be with Jesus in the clouds), And then shall the Wicked be revealed (The antichrist can not be revealed to start the tribulation until the saints are caught up to Jesus and leave this earth). These RSV and NIV translated bibles need to be placed in the trash. Only read the KJV bible which is the most accurate translation of the Word of God in English.

OK, let's see what happens on the Day of Christ (not the Day of the Lord) by studying 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3. This scripture tells us three things will happen on the Day of Christ. First there will be a falling away; Second all the saints will be caught up and gathered together unto Jesus in the clouds to be judged at the Bema Seat Judgment (which is not the white throne judgment), and Third the very second the saints are caught up to Jesus in the clouds and leave this earth, the antichrist, the son of perdition who is the man of sin will be revealed on this earth and start the 7 year tribulation as he confirms a treaty with Israel.

OK, now let's see why the Day of the Lord is not the Day of Christ. Pictured above we see that 2 Peter 3:10 tells us what will happen on the Day of the Lord. This scripture says But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which, the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Also note that 2 Peter 3:8 says But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

According to 2 Peter 3:8-10 the Day of the Lord spans a period of around a thousand years or more. The Day of the Lord will begin when Jesus comes as a thief in the night as the saints are caught up to be with Jesus in the clouds. But notice also that the Day of the Lord also includes the 7 year tribulation, 1000 year millenial reign of Jesus on this earth, the great white throne judgment, and ends as the heavens pass away where the earth is burned up before Jesus creates a new heaven and new earth for the eternal kingdom.

You see what an error it is to substitute the Day of the Lord for the Day of Christ at 2 Thessalonians 2:2. If this was so, saints would have to live through the tribulation included in the Day of the Lord. And many bible verses say that saints will not have to live through any second of the tribulation wrath of God. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 tells us And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Romans 5:9 tells us Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 tells us For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:10 says Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

And finally Luke 21:36 says Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass (the 7 year tribulation), and to stand before the Son of Man (at the bema seat judgment seat that occurs immediately when the saints are caught up to Jesus who appears in the clouds). This is stated at 2 Timothy 4:1 that says the Lord Jesus will judge the quick and the dead at His appearing (this is the dead in Christ and those that are alive and remain (the quick) who are caught up to be judged at the bema seat judgment and given rewards when Jesus appears in the clouds). Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me (Jesus will give saints rewards when he first appears to them in the clouds where the saints are caught up) to give every man according as his work shall be.

Friends if anyone gets saved, repents, stops sinning, makes Jesus God of their life, and believes daily that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again, they will not be on this earth for one second of the tribulation (these saints will be on a honeymoon with Jesus in heaven and will return with Jesus on white horses at the end of the 7 year tribulation to watch Jesus throw the antichrist and false prophet alive in the lake of fire). After this, all the saints will rule and reign with King Jesus in Jerusalem Israel for 1000 years on this earth in blessed peace because the devil will be sealed up in a bottomless pit for 1000 years. After the devil comes out of the bottomless pit, Jesus will cast the devil into the lake of fire, and burn up this earth. Finally, Jesus will create a new heaven and a new earth for the kingdom where all the saints will live forevermore in peace.

In closing, let me explain how the bema seat judgment differs from the great white throne judgment. The first picture above speaks about the bema seat judgment for all saints who believe Jesus is God where rewards are given for all the good deeds done to win and save souls. 2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 describes what will happen to saints at the bema seat judgment that all saints must appear at immediately after the catching up to Jesus in the clouds. The scripture says Every man's work shall be made manifest, for the day (the Day of Christ) shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.

You see saints will be rewarded for their good works and the souls they saved on this earth at the bema seat judgment. But remember your good works don't save you. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast. Daniel 12:3 says Jesus will reward saints with stars in their crowns for winning souls to the Lord Jesus. Daniel 12:3 says And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever.

But, also note that at the bema judgment seat some saints will suffer loss and lose rewards for failing to minister to lost souls. Take heed to the warning at 2 John 2:8 that says Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. I believe saints will cry when they see souls that they failed to minister to cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment. This is stated at Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

These saints will cry and remember that they failed to tell these lost souls about Jesus. Take heed; a saint that fails to wins souls will suffer loss at the bema seat judgment and see lost souls at the great white throne judgment cast into the lake of fire These saints' tears will not be wiped away from their eyes until after the 1000 year reign of Christ and the great white throne judgment when Jesus sets up the kingdom. Revelation 21:4 speaks about the kingdom saying And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away.

Isaiah 65:17 also says that in the kingdom all bad memories of lost souls and any bad thoughts will be removed; the scripture says For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Remember to give your life purpose win souls to the Lord Jesus. Tell people everywhere to get saved, repent, stop sinning, make Jesus God of their lives, and believe daily that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again so you don't weep for lost sinners cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment.

In closing, note that the second picture above of the great white throne judgment is not for saints but only for dead unbelievers who rejected Jesus as God. These unbelievers die twice. First they die and go to hell and finally they die the second death at the great white throne judgment and are cast into the lake of fire forevermore. Wow, saints that believe Jesus is God never die. But, unbelievers who reject Jesus as God die twice.

The great white throne judgment is described at Revelation 20:12-15 and says And I saw the dead (note this is for dead unbelievers in Jesus as God and not for the saved saints), small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it ; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Empty Cocoon

Let's learn what happens to people who repent, stop sinning, believe Jesus is God, and trust daily in Jesus crucified after they leave their earthly bodies. First remember that saved believers in Jesus as God never die; Jesus said at John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die: Believest thou this? But unbelievers who reject Jesus as God die twice. First unbelievers in Jesus as God die and go to hell. This is proven by the rich man who refused to help Lazarus. When this rich man died he immediately went to hell. Then at the great white throne judgment, all the dead unbelievers are delivered up to the Judge Jesus and experience the second death where they are cast into the lake of fire.

How comforting to know that saints overcome with Jesus according to John 16:33: These things I (Jesus) have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace, In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Therefore according to Revelation 2:11 saved saints are overcomers receiving this blessed promise: He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death (lake of fire). Saved saints with Jesus never die.

OK, to understand what happens to a saint who believes Jesus is God when they leave this earth remember that all saints have a body, soul, and spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:8 tells us We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. According to this scripture the very second a saint leaves his body on this earth, their soul and spirit is immediately present with the Lord Jesus. That saint is no longer in his cocoon shell body the very instant he leaves this earth. According to 1 Thessalonians 5:23 that saint's whole spirit and soul and body is preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now take time to look at the above picture of a caterpillar who leaves his cocoon and becomes a beautiful glorious butterfly. This change from a caterpillar in a cocoon to a butterfly is what saved saints experience when they leave this earth. The very moment that a saint leaves his empty cocoon shell body, he is in his glorious new body with Jesus. Note that when any saint leaves his earthly body, time no longer limits that saint. Isaiah 57:15 says that God inhabiteth eternity; Therefore when any saint is absent from the body, they are present with the Lord in eternity not limited by time. They can go back in time, have time stand still, or go forward in time beyond all time dispensations to receive their glorified body in the kingdom of God billions of years into the future. That saint is promised eternal life and can travel billions of years into the future rejoicing in his glorious body with our Lord Jesus forevermore.

According to time limitations, all the saints of Jesus Christ (dead and alive) will receive their glorified bodies during the rapture. This is stated at Philippians 3:20-21: For our conversation (defined as citizenship) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (that appears at the rapture): Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. After death, the bodies of sinners and the dead in Christ remain seen on present earth limited by time: The souls and spirits of the dead in Christ live forever with Jesus while the souls and spirits of unbelieving sinners go to hell and the lake of fire.

Like the beautiful butterfly pictured above with two wings who no longer is a caterpillar, saints also receive blessed glorious bodies when they leave their vile earthly bodies. Pictured above Philippians 3:21 promises Who (Jesus) shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby His is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.

I've had many people ask Brother Bob how are the dead in Christ raised up? The bible asks this question and gives us the answer. 1 Corinthians 15:35-38 tells us But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die; And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain. But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body. According to this scripture, by faith we know that Jesus will give a saint a glorious body the very instant he leaves his earthly body.

How comforting to know that according to the third picture, when saints are absent from the body, they immediately become present with the Lord in a glorious body. These dead in Christ can travel instantly in time to where their sleeping bodies transform into glorious bodies as they are caught up to be with Jesus in the clouds blessed by eternal peace forevermore.

Take time to carefully and slowly read the promise of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 that says But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (the dead in Christ), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him (note that these dead in Christ are not in their graves; they are alive with Jesus who brings their souls and spirits alive with Him in the clouds to be united to their glorious bodies that were sleeping during the catching up of the saints). But remember, the dead in Christ are not limited by time and can instantly move to the catching up where they receive whole glorious bodies, souls, and spirits like Jesus. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord Jesus in a glorious body in eternity not limited by time in eternal peace.

People have also asked Brother Bob what happens to the dead in Christ who have been cremated where their ashes are cast into the depths of the ocean? Jesus showed Brother Bob that the answer to this question can be found by looking at how a caterpillar leaves his cocoon to become a butterfly. The butterfly is no longer in his shell cocoon; the butterfly is free from his earthly cocoon shell and can fly in glory to heaven in his glorious body.

Like the butterflies, the dead in Christ are no longer in their cocoon shell earthly bodies. If you go to a wake and see a loved one in a coffin, that saint like the butterfly is not in his earthly cocoon shell. And if a loved one gets burned and cremated, they are not in that cocoon shell. If I take a caterpillar's cocoon, crumble it up, throw it to the ground, burn it, and scatter the ashes over the ocean; that butterfly is alive and flying in his glorious body with two wings.

From this we learn that if any dead person in Christ is cremated, burned, and reduced to ashes that are cast into an ocean, like the butterfly, they are flying free in their glorious bodies. Remember it doesn't matter what I do to a cocoon; crumble the cocoon, burn the cocoon, or scatter the cocoon's ashes over an ocean; the butterfly exists and is flying free in his glorious body. It doesn't matter what anyone does to our earthly cocoon shell bodies after we leave this earth. When Brother Bob leaves this earth, I don't care what anyone does with my cocoon shell body. My cocoon will be empty and I'll be flying free like a butterfly in my glorious peaceful body with my Lord Jesus forevermore.

Alright, as you look at the pictures above, remember our glorious bodies will be fashioned like Jesus' glorious body. 2 Corinthians 5 tells us that we are naked in our earthly bodies; but we become clothed when we receive our glorious bodies. The scripture says For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. When we get our glorified bodies, it will be like putting clothes on and no longer feeling naked in our earthly bodies.

How comforting to know that in the first picture above like Jesus our tombs will be empty with empty cocoon shells. Buddha and Mohammed are still in their graves; but glory to God, Jesus is not in His tomb. Scientists have found no trace of the DNA flesh of Jesus after searching every piece of dirt in Jesus' tomb (no bone fragments, no pieces of hair, nothing but dirt). I got news for these scientists; let them look through every piece of dirt in Jesus' tomb; they'll never find any trace of Jesus' flesh from His tomb because Jesus is risen and lives forevermore. The angel proclaimed He is not here: for He is risen, as He said (Matthew 28:6). And Romans 8:11 promises saved saints But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (bring to life) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Like Jesus, saved saints will have glorified bodies fashioned like unto Jesus' glorified 30 year old perfect body. Babies, elderly, and young saved people will receive new perfect glorified 30 year old bodies. Our new glorified bodies will be infinitely better than the best time anyone experienced on this earth. I once saw a movie of an elderly man and an elderly woman rowing on a boat to heaven. When they arrived at heaven, the woman was a beautiful model and the man became young and strong with perfect healthy restored bodies forever. And all the saved saints will recognize one another with great joy. 1 Corinthians 13:12 tells us For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Let's take a look at what Jesus' glorified body looks like in the second picture above. When Jesus appeared in His glorified body to the disciples, Jesus had flesh and bones (not flesh and blood because flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God). And note that Jesus in his glorified body was able to travel through walls and closed doors and eat fish and a honeycomb. Like Jesus, saved saints' glorified bodies will travel through closed doors and walls and can eat food.

The second picture where Jesus appeared in His glorified body to the disciples is at Luke 24:39. Jesus said to the disciples Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when He had thus spoken, He shewed them His hands and His feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, He said unto them Have ye here any meat? And they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And He took it, and did eat before them.

For our final thought today about the glorified bodies that old testament saints will soon receive, lets look at the above picture and the prophet Ezekial's vision of the valley of dry bones for the whole house of Israel. Ezekial saw all the old testament saints' dry bones receiving glorified bodies of new sinew, flesh, and skin as they lived and became a great army for our Lord Jesus.

Ezekial 37:7-10 tells us how these old testament saints will receive glorious bodies. The scripture says So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

Ezekial 37:9 goes on to say Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breathe, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Ezekial 37:11 says Then He (the Lord Jesus) said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves.

This rapture of old testament saints will occur along with the rapture of the bride church when Jesus appears in the clouds. Note though that an earlier rapture of 144000 old testament Jewish saints (called firstfruits) occurs earlier after Jesus is resurrected from the cross (See 1 Corinthians 15:22-23, Matthew 27:52-53, and Revelation 14:4). The order of raptures is Jesus first, the 144000 who are firstfruits, then the bride church with the rest of the old testament saints called the harvest, and finally the tribulation saints called the gleanings.

Divine Revelations From Our Lord Jesus Christ

For our first revelation today let's look at Proverbs 28:1 pictured above that says The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion. Neighbor, keep living every day with our Lord Jesus and stop sinning and wicked people will flee from you when no man pursueth. Psalm 68:1 promises Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let them also that hate him flee before him. I a'int chasin the devil, but he runs away from me anyway. Just keep living for Jesus and then you'll look around you and all your enemies will scatter and disappear. Only when we sin and forget Jesus do our enemies appear and troubles occur.

Notice that one must be righteous and bold as a lion to stand and not flee from our enemies. And the only way we can be righteous is with Jesus; and the only way we can be bold as the lion of the tribe of Judah is with Jesus. Jesus is righteous because 1 Corinthians 1:30 says But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption. Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Juda because Revelation 5:5 says And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda (Jesus), the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Friend reading this anywhere, get saved with Jesus today and become righteous and bold as a lion where your enemies flee and disappear. All you have to do is repent, stop sinning, make Jesus God of your life and daily believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Each day say I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated you, cleansed me of all my sins, and evil must pass over me.

The two pictures above prove that only Jesus remains standing as the bold righteous Lion of the tribe of Juda while all sinners flee when no man pursueth. In the first picture above Jesus in the garden of Gesthemane was the only one left standing bold as the Lion of the tribe of Juda, while everyone else fled when no man pursued. The bible says at Mark 14:50 And they (his disciples and everyone), all forsook him and fled.

And even a young man in a linen cloth fled away naked from Jesus through the garden of Gesthamene. Mark 14:51 tells us And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on Him; And he left his linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

Notice also in the second picture above only Jesus remained standing while all sinners fled when no man pursued and did not stone the woman caught in the act of adultery. At John 8:7 Jesus told the crowd that wanted to stone a woman for committing adultery He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Then John 8:9 says And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Now Jesus was the only one left standing with the adulterous woman because only Jesus had no sin. Hebrews 4:15 proclaims that Jesus was yet without sin. Since Jesus had no sin, Jesus could have stoned and killed the adulterous woman. (He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her). But Jesus showed mercy and loved this woman. Jesus told this woman at John 8:11 Neither do I condemn thee; go, and sin no more.

We learn from these stories that only saved people who repent and accept Jesus as God in their lives remain standing as bold righteous lions that enemies flee from when no man pursueth. Jesus is the answer. Just the brightness of Jesus' coming again to be King of this earth for a thousand years will destroy the antichrist. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 says the Lord Jesus shall destroy (the antichrist) with (just) the brightness of His coming.

For our second revelation today, notice in the picture above that there are 66 books in the bible. 39 old testament books and 27 new testament books. Also notice that the book of Isaiah has 66 chapters which relate to each book of the bible. The first 39 chapters of Isaiah relate to the 39 books of the old testament. The last 27 chapters of Isaiah (Isaiah 40-66) relate to the 27 books of the new testament.

For example Isaiah 40 speaks about Matthew which is the 40'th book of the bible and first book of the new testament. Note that Isaiah 40:3 speaks about John the Baptist saying the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Isn't it amazing that Matthew Chapter 3 also talks about John the Baptist saying In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea. And wow, it's verse 3 of Isaiah 40 that speaks about John the Baptist. Isaiah 40 verse 3 is a reflection of Matthew chapter 3 both about John the Baptist. The bible truly is a blessed book that will remain forever.

Now notice that the 66'th book of the bible is the book of Revelation. And wow Isaiah 66 speaks about the book of Revelation's new heaven and new earth. Isaiah 66:22 says For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. Revelation 21:1 says And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

For our third revelation today as you look at the picture above, Brother Bob asks you this question. What is the only food that never spoils and can be preserved for thousands of years? The answer is honey. There is a jar of honey that is 5500 years old that is fresh and will never spoil. It would be an honor for Brother Bob to eat this 5500 year old honey.

The reason honey never spoils is because the Word (Jesus) is sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb according to Psalm 19:10. The Word Jesus like honey never spoils and remains forever. Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Jesus said at Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Friend reading this anywhere; Think about this. The only book that has lasted from the beginning of time until today is the bible. Many kings, nations, and rulers have faded away. But the Word of God and Jesus has always remained like honey. The bible is like forever opening a christmas present where you constantly receive new blessings.

It's amazing to me that I'm never bored with the bible. I could read the same bible verse a thousand times and Jesus could reveal a new revelation each time. But the fading riches and things of this world become boring and wax old. Thank you Jesus that we always learn something new from your Word that never grows old or boring. Friends everywhere keep searching for the infinite new truths revealed by the Word of God. You will never be bored about the bible. John 21:25 proves that there are infinite new truths to learn from the Word of God saying And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

SOME BLESSED SAYINGS

The one letter that separates a sinner from a saint is the letter L
Sinners love the world
Saints love the word

Not the blood+water
Not the blood+works
Not the blood+wafers
But the Blood of Christ+nothing

They asked a 95 year old saint Do you love Jesus?
He replied, I'll tell you something better.
Jesus loves me.

I pray in Jesus name these teaching bless multitudes on this earth with peace and strength. The Faith Of Jairus

SOME THOUGHTS BEFORE TODAY'S BIBLE STUDY

A POEM ABOUT HUCKLEBERRY FINN

Finn and Huck were best of friends
When Finn up and died
They said
No need to worry
Huck (will bury) Finn

A STORY ABOUT A 45 YEAR OLD MAN WHO DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO CHURCH

A mother told her 45 year old son Get up it's time to go to church.
The son rolled over in his bed and said
Give me one good reason why I should go to church today.
The mother replied
I'll give you three good reasons.
Number 1-Your're saved and saved people should go to church.
Number 2-You're 45 years old and a 45 year old knows that he belongs in church.
Number 3-You're the Pastor, what am I gonna tell everybody if you don't get out of bed and go to church.

The story above is an example of what we are seeing in these last days when the love of many is waxing cold with a great falling away before the appearance of the antichrist. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 tells us Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Many people today have rejected the God that became a man (Jesus) and are getting ready for the man who will claim to be God (the beast antichrist).

But friends be of good cheer, 2 Thessalonians 2:7 promises he who now letteth (holds back) will let (hold back the appearance of the antichrist), until he be taken out of the way (saints getting caught up before the tribulation) and then shall the Wicked be revealed (the antichrist can't be revealed to start the tribulation with a peace treaty with Israel stated in Daniel 9:27 until the saints are caught up to be with Jesus). Saints won't be on this earth for one second of the tribulation mess hallelujah. I a'int lookin for the antichrist; I'm lookin for the Christ.

OK, for today's lesson let's see how the faith of a father named Jairus healed and raised his daughter from the dead. Mark 5:22 describes the first picture above saying And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and when he saw Him (Jesus) he fell at his feet. And besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death; I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him, and much people followed Him, and thronged Him.

Note that Jairus did not go to the pharmacy or a doctor to have his daughter healed. Jairus went to the feet of Jesus to heal his daughter by faith. As a result, Jairus' faith by trusting Jesus to heal his daughter raised his little girl from the dead. Jesus went to Jairus' house and raised his little girl from the dead by saying Talitha cumi Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

Notice also in the second picture above another man who by faith got healed at the feet of Jesus. A wild crazy man in the tombs of the Gadarenes who ran around a cemetery naked all day got healed at the feet of Jesus. Luke 8:35 describes how this crazy nut got healed saying that they found the man, out of whom the spirits were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind, and they were afraid. Notice that when this nut got at the feet of Jesus, he got saved and in his right mind by putting on clothes. Jesus causes people to cover up their flesh and have a right mind where they no longer are insane and show off their flesh to the world. After this crazy man of Gadarenes got saved, he wrote and published books in the city of Decapolis where his testimony saved multitudes.

Friend reading this anywhere today, I pray in Jesus name that you be like Jairus and the blessed man from Gadarenes and worship Jesus as God at the feet of Jesus. Right now get saved, repent, stop sinning, and confess Jesus as your God, believing that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

OK, let's look again at how Jairus' faith healed his daughter. When Jairus faced trouble and needed a miracle for his dead daughter, Jairus sought help from Jesus instead of anyone in this unreliable world. Jairus remembered the promises of Psalm 107 pictured above and how the children of Israel cried unto the Lord Jesus (instead of unreliable friends and doctors of the world) and were delivered out of all their troubles. Like Jairus and the children of Israel, friend anywhere cry to Jesus for help (not anyone in this world) when you are in trouble, and Jesus will deliver you out of all your distresses.

Take time to read below what happened each time the children of Israel cried unto the Lord Jesus for help from their troubles in Psalm 107. Psalm  107:4 says They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way, they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. Psalm 107:12 goes on to say Therefore He brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help (friend if you also have none to help call on Jesus and he will save you) Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.

Then Psalm 107:18 says Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble; and He saveth them out of their distresses. And finally Psalm 107:25 tells us For He commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. They mount up to the heaven; they go down again to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like  a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He bringeth them out of their distresses. CONCLUSION: Call unto Jesus like Jairus instead of this world whenever you face trouble, and Jesus will save you out of all your distresses.

OK, let's talk some more about how the faith and prayers of Jairus healed and raised his daughter from the dead. After Jairus asked Jesus to come to his house and heal his daughter, Mark 5:35 says a ruler of the synagogue told Jairus, Thy daughter is dead; why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue (Jairus), Be not afraid, only believe. Like Jairus, if we face troubles in this world, if we trust in Jesus, Jesus will tell us be not afraid, only believe.

Our faith in the Lord Jesus will overcome any problem in this world, and Jesus will deliver us out of all our troubles. 1 John 5:4 tells us For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (note that it's our faith in Jesus that overcomes any trouble in this world). Every day say I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil the blood of Jesus, the same yesterday, today, and forever has overcome and defeated you devil, evil must pass over me, and the blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all my sins. Who is he that overcometh the world; but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Alright, let's continue with today's story about how Jairus' faith healed his daughter. Pictured above we see that when Jesus arrived at Jairus' house, Mark 5:40 says many laughed Him to scorn. But when He (Jesus) had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him (Peter, James, and John), and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

Note that the little girl could not pray for herself. It was her daddy Jairus' prayers and faith that caused Jesus to heal and raise his daughter from the dead. Remember our prayers for anyone in trouble will save and heal them. Four men's faith and prayers by lowering their crippled friend through a roof to Jesus healed the lame man. Jesus said he saw their (the four men's) faith, not his (the lame man's faith) and healed the crippled man. Question? How many men did it take to patch the roof after the lame man was healed by Jesus at Mark 2. Answer: No less than 5. The 4 men and the healed lame man were happy to patch the roof after the crippled man took up his bed and walked.

Like Jairus, there were other examples where people's prayers and faith healed their friends. Many people in a church prayed day and night that Peter would be set free from prison. Their prayers caused an angel to break the prison chains on Peter and open three iron gates and set Peter free from prison. Aaron, Hur, and Moses' prayers for Joshua allowed Joshua to get the victory over the enemy Amalekites.

Jairus' faith reminds me of Noah pictured above. Noah told the people in his land for 120 years to repent, stop sinning, and get on the ark he was building to escape a flood coming to destroy the world. Notice the man in the picture above pointing to his head mocking Noah calling him a lunatic. Noah ignored the persecutions and mockings and kept building the ark. As a result, Noah and his family were saved from the flood while all his persecutors and mockers were destroyed in a flood.

Jairus, like Noah, had to have faith when people laughed and mocked saying Jairus, your daughter is dead and not sleeping like Jesus says. But Jairus chose to ignore the mocking and persecutions; as a result, Jairus' faith caused Jesus to heal his daughter. Note that Jesus did not allow any of these mocking unbelievers to witness the raising of Jairus' little daughter from the dead. Mark 5:40 says Jesus put out all the scoffers and did not allow them to enter Jairus' house. People that mock Jesus in unbelief do not see miracles; only believers who have faith in Jesus to deliver them from the troubles of this world will witness supernatural miracles and rejoice. Only Peter, James, John, Jairus, Jairus' wife, and Jesus who had faith to believe the impossible witnessed the damel's miracle of being raised from the dead.

Finally, we see that Jairus had faith to trust in one word from Jesus (arise). When Jesus told Jairus' daugher arise, the little girl was raised from the dead. Friend reading this anywhere be like Jairus and have faith to daily believe the promises of God's Word. One day soon, Jesus will say to all the dead in Christ who are sleeping like this little damsel arise, and the dead in Christ will be caught up to the clouds to live in peace forevermore with those that are alive and remaining on this earth. Ephesians 5:14 tells us Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

It's a blessing to know that anyone who is a christian and believes Jesus is God does not die. Jesus says that christians who believe Jesus is God sleep and do not die. How comforting to know that to be absent form the body is to be present with the Lord. Now christians are like caterpillars in cocoon fleshly bodies. But soon we will leave our cocoon fleshly bodies and get glorified new bodies with wings like a butterfly and fly away to be at peace with our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4 says the dead in Christ are sleeping and will one day soon awake from their sleep and live forevermore with Jesus in the kingdom. But, unbelievers who do not believe Jesus is God die twice. First an unbeliever dies on this earth and is buried and goes to hell. Then unbelievers in Jesus as God die a second death at the great white throne judgment where unbelievers in Jesus as God are cast into the lake of fire.

SINCE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT FAITH HERE'S
A STORY ABOUT A BLIND MAN AND HIS LAMP

One day a blind man pictured above was walking with his lamp.
A friend asked the blind man
Why are you carrying a Lamp if you are blind?
The blind man replied
Even though I can't see anyone passing by me
I carry this Lamp to protect me from harm
so no man steps on me.

Saints also by faith need to daily carry the Lamp Jesus with them
walking by faith and not by sight
for protection from the unseen principalities, powers,
rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12 says For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. But be of good cheer, Jesus promised at John 16:33 with Jesus saints will overcome this world.

FAITH BELIEVES THE INVISIBLE
RECEIVES THE INCREDIBLE
DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE

A LITTLE STORY ABOUT THE FAITH OF PILOTS

Pilots of planes use instruments to fly by faith when they cannot see.
Saints must be like these pilots and live by faith and not by sight.
When the world and friends around us fail;
Saints like these pilots can mount up with wings as eagles
and faithfully fly in peace above the troubles of this world
by the instrument of the Word of God.
