A Couple Of Biblical Thoughts

For our first biblical thought today we see a blank check from the Father's checkbook in heaven. Let's look at Philippians 4:19 and see how the bible describes the above blank check from the Father's checkbook in heaven. Philippians 4:19 says But my God (The Provider), shall supply (promises to pay) all your need (amount to be paid) according to His riches (account from which the payment is drawn) in glory (address of God's bank) by Christ Jesus (signature on the check).

Here's a couple more blessed sayings to draw all my friends closer to the Lord Jesus. Friend anywhere right now say out loud the following blessed words and praise Jesus: When I look at myself, I think how could I possibly be saved. But, when I look at Jesus, I think how could I possibly be lost. Remember, it takes Jesus to go to heaven. Good works, attending church, getting baptized in every tadpole hole in the country, and shaking a preacher's hand won't get you to heaven. A person is good because the Lord Jesus lives in him. The only good thing about us all is Jesus.

John 17:3 tells us how to get to heaven and have life eternal and salvation. It says And this is life eternal (how to be saved with life forevermore), that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. Friend anywhere reading this, right now get saved and confess Jesus as your only true God believing in your heart that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again.

Jesus is the only way someone can get to heaven. There is no other substitute. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus also said at John 10:9 I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Today, right now, repent from your sins and make a decision to live the rest of your life for Jesus. People don't get saved yesterday or tomorrow. Now is the time of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation.

OK for out next biblical thought, take a look at the first picture above of a good coon dog who can be trusted when he has a coon cornered up a tree. I've got more confidence in a good coon dog than a backslid preacher that won't tell the truth. At least when you find a good coon dog under a tree with a coon cornered up the tree, the dog's telling the truth and can be trusted and you tell the dog good dog. But, if there's no coon up the tree, the dog's a liar and he oughta be shot.

The second picture gives us an example of a backslid preacher who did not obey the Lord's instructions to keep moving forward. God's instructions to this preacher were at 1 Kings 13:9 and were Eat no bread, nor drink no water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. After this preacher healed King Jeroboam at first he obeyed God's instructions and did not honor King Jeroboam's invitation to wine and dine with him at the king's palace.

But, later a lying prophet caused this preacher to come to his house to eat and drink. After the preacher disobeyed God's instructions, the lying prophet said at 1 Kings 13:21 Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee. But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord said to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

The second picture above shows us what happened to the backslid preacher as he left the lying prophet's house upon a jackass. 1 Kings 13:24 describes what happened to the backslid preacher and says And when he (the backslid preacher) was gone, a lion met him by the way and slew him. and his carcase was cast in the way; and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

Now isn't this strange that the lion stood by the carcase of the backslid preacher and the jackass, doing no harm to the backslid preacher or the jackass. What's the meaning of this? I think it means that a jackass is safer in the presence of a lion than a backslid preacher. Also, the lion represented the devil that had no power and could not harm the backslid preacher. The backslid preacher died because he disobeyed God's instructions and the devil represented by the lion had no power to harm anyone.

Friends, learn a lesson from this story about the backslid preacher of 1 Kings 13. I believe once a person is saved, he is always saved. But a saved person like this backslid preacher can still disobey God by sinning and be given over to the destruction of the flesh by the devil. In 1 Corinthians 5 saved folk were destroyed by the devil for having sex with their father's wife. According to 1 Corinthians 5:5, they were delivered to Satan for the destruction of the flesh like the backslid preacher, but their spirits were still saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

So we see that saved folk can choose to disobey God and sin allowing the devil to destroy their flesh. Brother Bob says in response to all my friends everywhere Romans 6:1 Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Friends, every day say Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus and with Jesus you will not sin and the devil will flee from you because the blood of Jesus will forevermore overcome the devil.

The above picture of a KJV bible is in response to a person who told Brother Bob that he needs to protect himself by learning karate taught at the local church. I responded by saying I don't need to protect myself because I got a protector and His name is the Lord Jesus. It's wrong for some churches to promote karate because karate is an eastern religion that promotes seducing spirits. We're just seeing 1 Timothy 4:1 being fulfilled in these last times that says Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

After this, someone told Brother Bob do you carry a weapon to protect yourself. I responded and told them that I always carry a weapon that's loaded all around called the KJV bible pictured above. Whenever Brother Bob drives any car, Brother Bob keeps a KJV bible on the car seat. If a cop asks me, Brother Bob what's that on your car seat, I'll tell the cop it's a KJV bible, you want to look at it with me. Then the cop will say Oh no no no just go on. Unfortunately, that cop and most people don't want to see that KJV bible that has more power to protect us than any weapon we could carry.

Brother Bob recommends placing two KJV bibles on the backseat of your car. The reason I do this is because so many people that I witness to get saved and need a KJV bible. I always give away KJV bibles for free to people I win to Jesus. But I keep an extra bible to remain in the backseat of my car to make the devil flee from my car.

The bible proclaims that the KJV bible is one of our most powerful weapons of protection at Hebrews 4:12 that says For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Note also that the KJV bible can be used to help you go to sleep each night. If people will read their bibles just before they go to bed, they'll be asleep in 15 minutes. The KJV bible is the best sleeping pill you could get.

For my final thought today as we look at the above picture of a pope, let's all look at Matthew 23:9 that says And call no man your father upon the earth, for one is your Father, which is in heaven. The pope needs to take off his long bonnett and robe and get under the feet of Jesus Christ like the rest of us. Whoever heard of a man becoming infallible when he gets in the popery. This is damnable heresy. Remember, friends everywhere worship only the Lord Jesus and no pope, man, or thing on this earth.

1 Timothy 6:14-15 proclaims that Jesus is the only Lord, Potentate, and King that should be worshipped as God forevermore. 1 Timothy 6:14-15 says That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ; which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate (defined as a royal prince minister of great authority),the King of kings, and Lord of lords. It's wrong to worship the pope as a God. The pope reminds Brother Bob of a phony pharisee or saducee that according to Matthew 23:6 loves the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues. And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi; But be not ye called Rabbi, for one is your Master, even Christ, and all ye are brethren.

As always, it has been a blessing writing this bible study today that I pray in Jesus name will bless my friends everywhere with great peace, strength, and joy. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133. Till we all meet again soon to lift up our Lord Jesus, everyone have a blessed day in Jesus name.
