Only Jesus Can Be Trusted

Everyone, I pray that the picture above blesses you all to know that only Jesus can be trusted in this life. Take a good look at the little boy in green in the back of the picture running to Jesus for help. Like the little children above making Jesus their only hope, let's all remember what is said at Psalm 121 that says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Hebrews 13:6 tells us So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

You see our own strength and thoughts will fail and only faith daily in Jesus crucified with our hearts will deliver us all from troubles. Look at how the Word shows that we can not trust in ourselves where 2 Corinthians 1:9 says But, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead. Look at the payoff for trusting totally in the Lord Jesus at Proverbs 3:5. Proverbs 3:5 tells us Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel (defined in hebrew as calm your nerves) and marrow to thy bones (defined in hebrew as refreshing your body like a cup of refreshing cold water).

This scripture made me think of Proverbs 25:25 that says As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. And guess what, the good news is the gospel (defined as the death on the cross and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) which is so refreshing as a cup of cold water to a thirsty soul. Romans 1:16 says For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Now remember the title of this message that only Jesus can be trusted. DL Moody wrote that friends can not be trusted because friends can die, leave us, or turn against us and not deliver us. Those people that trust in being famous with a popular reputation can be disappointed by a slandering tongue. Wealth, gold, and sliver can not be trusted for money and riches will take wings and fly away. Proverbs 23:5 says Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. Ezekial 7:19 says They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Saint reading this in any nation, realize that only Jesus can be trusted. I pray in Jesus name that right now any person reading this will confess Jesus as God and believe that Jesus died for them and rose again in their hearts and be saved. Saint reading this Brother Bob guarantees to you that only Jesus will never fail you. I want all my friends to say out loud and memorize the following bible verse that proves that only Jesus can be trusted. Numbers 23:19 says God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent; hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Brother Bob must testify that sometimes when I travel it always amazes me how cities and people change and can not be trusted. People change, places change, families change, and nature changes. But hallelujah you can bank on Jesus to be trusted for Jesus will never change and Jesus will always be there by your side to bless you all. Malachi 3:6 says For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Psalm 16:8 says I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Now for my next picture above we see Elisha rewarded for continuing to seek a blessing from Elijah, getting a double portion of the Spirit from Elijah's mantle that fell to the ground from the burning chariot of fire as Elijah rose to heaven. As we all trust in Jesus, we all should say with Elisha at 2 Kings 2:2 As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee Lord Jesus. Notice the cities at 2 Kings 2:2 that Elisha had to travel through to receive a double portion of the Spirit. First Gilgal meaning rolling wheel where saints must keep moving daily for Jesus and not be lazy doing nothing. Second Bethel meaning the house of God where saints must daily fellowship with Jesus in their bodies which is the temple of God. Third Jericho meaning moon or a dark place where saints must ignore the dark persecutions in their lives while they continually praise Jesus daily. Finally, Jordan meaning descending where saints must be willing to humble themselves so Jesus can exalt them in due season. Remember Proverbs 18:12 tells us Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

There are many scriptures in the Word of God that tell us to be like Elisha pictured above and keep seeking Jesus daily with our whole heart to find and receive blessings. Jeremiah 29:13 says And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Wow, look at Job's faith and determination to trust in Jesus as his own wife told him to curse God and die as Job suffered with boils all over his body scraping the boils off with a potsherd. Hallelujah, through the suffering, Job said at Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him. 2 Timothy 1:12 says For the which cause I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. Hallelujah, Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Friends in the many nations, I want you all to meditate on the following bible verses that prove a definite reward for a person's determination to daily keep seeking for Jesus as they rejoice through the troubles around them in this wicked world. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him and be at peace, thereby good shall come unto thee. Isaiah 55:6 say Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near. Psalm 9:10 says And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou Lord hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee.

OK, after telling all my friends in the many nations to trust only in Jesus, saint reading this right now Brother Bob has three words for you Come To Jesus for as pictured above Jesus will receive you all. In the world in your countries, people might cast you out or reject you, but Jesus accepts whosoever will come to Jesus. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever (note the bible says whosoever and this speaks to anyone who reads this bible study forevermore) will, let him take the water of life freely. God's Word is true and Jesus will not cast away anyone that comes to Him for everlasting life and eternal blessings. John 6:37 says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

Brother Bob says it does not matter who you are or where you are reading this; if you call on the Lord Jesus and believe Jesus died for you and rose again you will be saved. Jesus will save whosoever comes to Him by faith. This is proven by Romans 10:13 that says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I pray in Jesus name, everyone reading this forevermore will do what King David said at Psalm 116:13 and say I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. Now Brother Bob wants everyone to say right now I believe you Lord Jesus and call on the name of Jesus and I claim in Jesus name salvation to all who do this by faith. I truly believe that when Brother Bob gets to the kingdom, I'll see all the souls that were saved in the many nations that regularly looked at Brother Bob's book for Jesus. This gives Brother Bob's life fulfillment and causes Brother Bob to rejoice as an instrument for Jesus to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the world. I must rejoice and testify that now Brother Bob's book for Jesus is now being seen by the aborigines in the Australian outback, the indians in the Brazilian jungle, and the eskimos in northern Manitoba Canada.

Brother Bob now asks all my friends everywhere to open their bibles to Psalm 91:14-16 and memorize these promises of blessings you will receive if you set your love upon the Lord Jesus trusting totally in the Lord Jesus. Psalm 91:14-16 says Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.Remember Jesus is so good and gives us all much much more than our requests. This is proven by Psalm 21:4 where King David asked for life and wow King David received length of days for ever and ever. Psalm 21:4 says He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him even length of days for ever and ever.

Now Brother Bob wants to share a revelation from Jesus about what is on the hem of the robe of our High priest Jesus. Did you know that pomegranates and golden bells pictured above were on the hem of the high priest's robe when the high priest went into the holy place to minister to receive mercy for the sins of the people. The high priest would shake his robe making the golden bells ring to let the people know that the high priest was alive. Hallelujah, the golden bells are ringing forevermore in heaven for Jesus our High Priest has arisen from the dead and is alive forevermore in the kingdom.

The bible verse about the picture above is at Exodus 28:33 and says And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof, and bells of gold between them round about. A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about. And it shall be upon Aaron to minister; and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.

And the good news is that Jesus as our high priest forevermore, unlike earthly priests of ancient times, constantly prays for all believers and saints to be blessed and overcome this world. This is proven by Hebrews 7:25 that says Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. And remember the Father hears and answers the righteous Jesus prayers for you friend reading this for James 5:16 says The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much because according to 1 Corinthians 1:30 Jesus is righteousness. When you get time, read John 17 which is Jesus' prayer for all the saints which the Father hears and totally answers hallelujah.

For my final picture today, Brother Bob gives you a picture of the father of the prodigal son running to his son and receiving him again as a blessed member of his family. Now note that the father ran to the lost son who returned home. Saint reading this come to Jesus right now and confess Jesus as Lord and believe Jesus died for you and rose again and Jesus will run to you, save you, and bless you greatly. The story about the above picture is at Luke 15:20 and says And he arose, and came to his father. But, when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him Father, I have sinned against heaven and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. but, the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him and put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet; And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it and let us eat and be merry.

To end up today's bible study, let's all look at what the prophet Hosea stated about how Jesus will overlook and forgive all our sins if we like the prodigal son return to our Lord Jesus as our Father. Take time to meditate on the prophet Hosea's words at Hosea 14 that says O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God, for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to the lord, say unto Him, Take away all iniquity and receive us graciously. So will we render the calves of our lips. Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods; for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto Israel, he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread and his beauty shall be as the olive tree and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return, they shall revive as the corn and grow as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

Finally, look at what the prophet Jeremiah says about the blessings people will receive if they return to Jesus. Brother Bob says as you read this to not be afraid to return to Jesus no matter what sin you have done in this world. God's word is true and as you read the words of Jeremiah, return to Jesus and Jesus will remove all your sin and receive and bless you greatly. Jeremiah 3:12 says Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you; for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord, for I am married unto you; and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion. Brother Bob truly feels like John the Baptist and the prophet Isaiah at Isaiah 58 saying Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. As John the Baptist would say, Brother Bob also says repent now and come to Jesus and be saved all my friends in the many nations.

As always Brother Bob has enjoyed writing this bible study today. I pray in Jesus name that these writings give all my friends everywhere peace and joy forevermore.
