Notice the pictures above of the new heavens and the new earth where the Lord Jesus surrounds christians forever and the picture of a beautiful palace in this world offering many luxuries. Brother Bob says I'd choose the Lord Jesus over anything this world has to offer. Martin Luther said he would rather live in an old shack with Jesus than be forever without Jesus in the lake of fire. Brother Bob says I'd rather live in the corner of a housetop with Jesus and write these bible studies out of a one bedroom apartment with Jesus than be somewhere forever without Jesus.
I pray in Jesus name that whoever reads this bible study would choose Jesus and value Jesus over anything this world has to offer. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
The bible tells us that we can take nothing out of this world and only what we do for Jesus on this earth will remain forever. Ecclesiastes 5:15 says As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Most people on this earth save large amounts of money only to realize later in life that they can not take the money with them. Jesus told the rich young ruler to give away his money and bless the poor and the rich young man chose the money over Jesus and did not help the poor. Jesus replied in Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
The wealthiest emperor when he leaves this world has no more than the poorest beggar on the street. Psalm 49:16 says Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. The prophet Amos gave us all an example of people that loved the world more than Jesus and were more concerned about making money by selling corn and wheat instead of worshipping the Lord Jesus.

Amos 8:5 says Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? The sinners of Amos' time made the portions or ephah that they sold of corn and wheat very small and were greedy and charged a great amount of shekels to buy the corn and wheat. Amos tells us all that the people suffered because of their greed for money. Amos 8:10 says And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
Don't be selfish enjoying the fading pleasures of this world. Instead witness Jesus everywhere, daily study the Word of God, and bless fatherless orphans and widows while you build treasure in heaven that lasts forever. Jesus told us at Mark 10:21 that we build treasure in heaven when we bless the poor. Jesus said at Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. James 1:27 says Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Notice the pictures above of grapes and ears of corn. We can not take the grapes and corn on this earth with us to the kingdom of God. While in this world's vineyards and fields of our neighbors, we can pluck and eat only in this world, but can not pocket and carry away the food to the kingdom of God. Don't be like the man who built barns and stored all his fruits and goods in the barns and thought he could eat, drink, and be merry, taking ease for the rest of his life.
Jesus said at Luke 12:15 Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Jesus rebuked this man and said at Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall these things be, which thou hast provided?
Deuteronomy 23:24 says When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. When thou comest into the standing corn of they neighbor, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing corn. This verse tells us to be content and eat daily what Jesus provides and be thankful. This verse warns us to not take more grapes in vessels and cut down more corn and save them for a future day.

Jesus said at Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Consider the birds that fly. The birds do not store their food in barns. Birds just put their beaks in the ground and by faith believe the Lord Jesus to provide food for that day. Birds have bills but they keep on singing.
There will be no bad thoughts of darkness or night in the kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus is the eternal light in the kingdom of God where darkness and night never exist. Christians don't have to sleep or get tired in the kingdom of God because light and day continually exist for ever. Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Rejoice about the light that exists during the millennium when Jesus rules this earth during the kingdom of heaven. When the Lord Jesus is on this earth during the millennium, Isaiah 30:26 tells us that the sun will shine like the light of seven days and the moon will shine like the sun. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Zechariah 14:7 says But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
Rejoice about the light that exists with Jesus for ever in the kingdom of God after the millennium. Isaiah 60:19 says The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. The sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Revelation 21:23 says And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Christians will have perfect glorified bodies for ever living in Jesus' eternal light. Christians' lives in the kingdom of God will be infinitely better than the best time they experienced on this earth. Hallelujah.
My final picture above is a model family that is humble and praying to Jesus. Be humble, deny yourself daily, and glorify the Lord Jesus. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. It's not about us but it's about exalting the Lord Jesus. John the Baptist said at John 3:30 He (the Lord Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease.
Note the following scriptures that tell us to avoid pride and be blessed by being humble. Proverbs 16:18 says Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 18:12 says Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. Luke 14:11 says For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. When Nimrod tried to build the Tower of Babel above God, the Lord Jesus would not allow man to rise above God and confused the people with various languages and stopped the building of the Tower of Babel. Instead of proud man traveling to the moon and Mars to only discover worthless rocks, man needs to be humble, bow down, and worship the Lord Jesus who will exalt christians to be caught up to heaven in peace forever with Jesus.
I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
