Exceeding Abundantly Above All That We Ask Or Think

Friends, for today's bible study rejoice and praise our Lord Jesus for always giving us much more than what we ask or request daily. Pictured above we see Abraham praying for his relative Lot to be spared from the burning destruction of Sodom and Gommorah. Friends, keep praying like Abraham did for Lot even when you see and hear no results. All Abraham saw when he prayed for Lot's protection was smoke and did not know if his prayer was answered. But, the Lord Jesus answered Abraham's prayers and the bible records that because of Abraham's prayers (not Lot's), the Lord Jesus spared and rescued Lot. Friends in the many nations, even when you see no results for your prayer requests, Jesus told me to tell you all to keep praying for the peace, health, and welfare of people around you because Jesus hears your prayers and will grant your requests. Isaiah 65:24 says And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Abraham's prayer request for Lot pictured above is recorded at Genesis 18:22 and says And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom; but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? In the next chapter at Genesis 19:27 we see that the Lord Jesus granted Abraham's prayer request even though Abraham only saw smoke and did not see or hear that Lot was rescued from destruction. Genesis 19:27 says And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord; And he looked toward Sodom and Gommorah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham (notice the Lord Jesus remembered Abraham and not Lot's prayer) and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

For Brother Bob's next revelation from Jesus we see pictured above Elisha and his servant Gehazi being comforted as they see around 20000 chariots of fire and thousands of angels protecting them from a Syrian army surrounding them. Friend reading this anywhere, Brother Bob in Jesus name prays the blessing of Psalm 91:11 be given to you that says For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways; They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Friend reading this be comforted and know that your protecting angels are very powerful because Psalm 103:20 says Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.

I must testify that each day Brother Bob is comforted by the thousands of angels that protect Brother Bob. In Brother Bob's apartment there are thousands of angels that I've seen appear as white lights of crosses fully armed to daily protect Brother Bob from harm. The Lord Jesus calls these angels his hosts that are sent to protect you friend reading this for Jesus is the Lord (captain or general) of hosts (angels) and Michael is His warring archangel that daily protect us all from any harm. Note also that Jesus is also referred to as the Lord of the sabaoth defined as the Lord of the armies or hosts of angels for Israel and all believers in the Lord Jesus. Employers be fair to your workers for James 5:4 says Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth; and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

This week Jesus gave Brother Bob a blessed revelation that there was around 20000 chariots with thousands of angels that protected Elisha and Gehazi from a Syrian army that surrounded them. Rejoice friend as you read Psalm 68:17 that says The chariots of God are 20000 (defined as myriad or innumerable infinite chariots and angels protecting saints), even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them (as the captain, general, and Lord of hosts), as in Sinai, in the holy place.  As Gehazi learned from Elisha, Brother Bob proclaims to all my friends everywhere, realize that the angels protecting you are more than any enemy that could come against you.

Elisha comforted Gehazi and told him not to fear the large Syrian army against them because 2 Kings 6:16 says And he answered Fear not, for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see, And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Friend reading this Fear the Lord Jesus and don't be scared by any ungodly nation because Jesus with his little finger could destroy the evil in any nation in an instant that is rebellious. But, if saints live in an ungodly nation, Jesus will spare these saints. Isaiah 40:15 says Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance; behold, he (the Lord Jesus) taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

For Brother Bob's next picture we see a promised blessing saints receive for fearing and reverencing the Lord Jesus as they obey His Word. Jesus this week told Brother Bob to compare Psalm 25:12 with Psalm 116:7. Friend in any nation, take time to meditate on the promises of these blessed scriptures and I pray in Jesus name peace fill every area of your lives as these promises strengthen you. First, Psalm 25:12 says What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that He shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease (defined as lodging in goodness), and his seed shall inherit the earth. Now lets look at Psalm 116:7 that says Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. The word bountiful is defined as goodness and promises the bountiful lodging of goodness saints will receive for their merciful kindness on the earth.

The apostle John comforted us all and wrote about the saints' bountiful lodging of goodness at John 14:1 where Jesus said Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Brother Bob proclaims to the homeless on this earth who daily serve Jesus, you might not own a house on this earth, yet you always have a home, for you have made the Most High your habitation. Also, remember with Jesus we have an abundant supply for our needs because in my Father's house there is bread enough and to spare for Luke 15:17 says And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my Father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger.

Take time friend to meditate on the following scriptures that prove that Jesus will give us all exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Genesis 15:1 says After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision saying, Fear not, Abram, I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (Note with Jesus as God we share Abraham's exceeding great reward as heirs according to Galatians 3:29). And look at the abundant blessing promised to all saints recorded at Song of Solomon 5:1 where the bridegroom Jesus says I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. (Now read the blessing Jesus has given to you friend reading this anywhere) eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

Like David say to Jesus Psalm 31:19 Oh, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men. Lord Jesus we say to you Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. To end this bible study today Brother Bob gives you a quote from the puritan writer Richard Alleine of the 1600's who said What are the things of this world that soon are not, compared to Him whose name is I AM.

As always, Brother Bob has enjoyed writing this bible study today and I pray in Jesus name it strengthens and gives peace to all my friends who forevermore read these anointed words from our Lord Jesus. Choose Jesus And Receive All Your Blessed Desires

Like King Solomon when we choose Jesus first above anything (money, family, houses, lands, or any material delights of this world), Jesus will bless us with all we need and then bless us with the whole package anyway, giving us money, houses, lands, blessed families, and good health. This is proven by the bible verse Mark 10:29 that says And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Also, Psalm 5:11 tells us But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

A perfect example of someone who asked for Jesus (who is wisdom according to 1 Corinthians 1:30) (and not money, houses, or blessings for his family) and was blessed with all his desires was King Solomon pictured above. In Hebrew the name Solomon is called peace and like Solomon if you friend reading this anywhere choose Jesus above all things and seek Jesus first in every area of your lives, Brother Bob prays peace for your life past, present, and future. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Now friend just take a moment and meditate on what was presented to King Solomon when he prayed in the picture above. The Lord Jesus told Solomon you can have one wish only (anything you desire). Now Solomon could have like most people asked for money, lands, power, fame, palaces, and earthly desires, but Hallelujah Solomon chose wisdom or Jesus. Solomon made the right choice that we all should make by choosing Jesus because Matthew 24:35 says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words (Jesus who is the Word) shall not pass away. Because Solomon chose Jesus first, Jesus blessed Solomon with riches and honour anyway. 1 Kings 3:10 tells us And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have done according to thy words; lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour; so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

Someone else who chose to serve the Father instead of accepting the riches and glory of all the kingdoms of this fading world presented by the devil was our Lord and Saviour Jesus. Jesus was blessed with the honour of having a name that is above all names. The scriptures that prove this are Matthew 4:8 that says Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto Him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. The blessing Jesus received for choosing to serve the Father instead of any fading riches of this world is recorded at Philippians 2:9 that says Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Abraham was willing to obey the Lord Jesus and sacrifice one of his most beloved joys on this earth (his son Isaac). Think how Abraham was blessed with all blessings beyond thought for choosing the Lord Jesus above any earthly desire. Jesus just tested Abraham and spared his son Isaac, blessing Abraham because he placed God above any earthly joy or desire. Like Abraham, let us all choose to deny all earthly desires of our flesh while we trust and obey anything Jesus tells us to do. People might say Brother Bob how do I hear Jesus like Abraham. Brother Bob says daily with your heart see Jesus crucified, and the blood of Jesus that overcomes the devil according to Revelation 12:11 will make the devil (the prince of the air) flee from above you so you can hear God above. The prophet Isaiah encouraged us all and proclaimed that Jesus would daily talk to us and guide us because Isaiah 30:21 says And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The wonderful story of the picture above of Abraham willing to obey Jesus and sacrifice his only son Isaac is recorded at Genesis 22:15 and says And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time. And said, by myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing, I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Like Abraham, let us all daily obey the Lord Jesus winning souls to Jesus while we bless and remember the poor, and we will be blessed, possess with our seed the gate of our enemies, and all the nations of the earth will call us blessed.

Remember when we study the bible, the bible is like a puzzle where we put scriptures together and connect dots to understand the parables and mysteries of God revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Let me state that since Jesus is the Word, Jesus can be seen throughout the entire bible and gives meaning and life to the entire Word. For example, place the bible verses Genesis 22:8 and 2 Corinthians 5:19 together to understand that the Lord Jesus is the sacrifice that reconciled the world unto God . Genesis 22:8 says And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering (God did provide Himself, the lamb Jesus, for an offering at the cross of Calvary). 2 Corinthians 5:19 says To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Since we are talking about placing scriptures together like a puzzle to understand the Word, now place Hebrews 7:25 and Romans 8:33 together proving that Jesus saves people to the uttermost where no one can lay anything to  the charge of God's elect for it is God that justifieth. Hallelujah, once saved always saved. Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He is able to save them to the uttermost (from the guttermost to the uttermost) that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Romans 8:33 says Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Pictured above we see yet another example of choosing Jesus above anything where the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refused to bow down to the golden image made by Nebuchadnezzar, choosing to exalt and serve the Lord Jesus only. Daniel 3:23 tells us what happened to the Hebrew boys for refusing to bow down to Nebechudnezzar's golden image and says And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

What a blessing to know that like the three Hebrew boys, when saints choose to serve Jesus instead of anything in this fading world, Jesus will be with us always, set us free, and deliver us from all harm. A final person who denied the riches of this world, choosing to follow the Lord Jesus is Moses. Moses left the treasures of Egypt, realizing that rewards with Jesus is a greater treasure than anything this fading world has to offer. Hebrews 11:24 says By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. Let us all abide by the instructions of Hebrews 10:38 and stay with Jesus while we deny the fading riches of this world that says Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not them who draw back unto perdition (utter destruction caused by the love of money); but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

For Brother Bob's final thought today I want to share a revelation shown to Brother Bob from Jesus how Psalm 45 speaks about how all saints like Joseph pictured above will receive in the kingdom of God a coat of many colours. Genesis 37:3 says Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him. How comforting to know that Jesus loves all his believers equally and will give all saints a coat of many colours in the kingdom of God.

Take time to meditate on the glorious clothing (the golden coat of many colours) that Jesus will give his saints in the kingdom of God proclaimed by Psalm 45:11 that says So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty (Jesus desiring the beauty of his saints or the church stated at Ephesians 5:27): for He is thy Lord; and worship thou Him. And the daughter of Tyre (the daughter of the Rock or the saints of Jesus because Jesus is the Rock stated at 1 Corinthians 10:4) shall be there with a gift (the gift is Jesus because Jesus is our reward stated at Revelation 22:12); even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. The king's daughter (saved saints) is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the King (Jesus) in raiment of needlework (a coat of many colours); the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the King's palace. I pray in Jesus name that all who read the promise of Psalm 45:11 receive peace and joy forevermore from our Lord Jesus.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes on this earth with great joy, peace, and strength. Secrets Revealed By Jesus

For today's bible study Brother Bob is going to bless my friends everywhere some secret revelations revealed by Jesus. First look at the above picture of two mountains named Gerizim (the mountain of blessing) and Ebal (the mountain of cursing). Moses named these two mountains Gerizim and Ebal to be symbols to remind the people that a blessing would occur if they obeyed God and a curse would occur if they disobeyed God. Jesus showed Brother Bob that the Lord Jesus has two natures of mercy and wrath. If saints obey the Word of God while they fear God, Jesus will be merciful and bless their lives. But, if saints disobey the Word of God, Jesus will be a God of wrath and bring curses upon the disobedient people who have no fear of God.

Jesus can be angry and punish people for disobeying his Word because Jesus is perfect and has no sin; Ephesians 4:26 says Be ye angry, and (not but in the false Revised Standard Version) sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. The KJV scripture correctly says Be ye angry AND sin not. In other words all saints are sinners according to Romans 3:23 (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God) and can not get angry but only Jesus is perfect and has no sin according to 1 Peter 2:22 (Who did not sin, neither was guile found in His mouth) and can be angry.

Matthew 10:28 says And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (in other words fear Jesus and obey his Word). Hebrews 10:31 warns us It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Brother Bob says to my friends in the many nations, if you have disobeyed Jesus in the past, be encouraged and right now repent, fear God, get saved, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, believing in your hearts the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again where your sins will be forgiven by merciful Jesus.

Deuteronomy 11:26 speaks about Mount Gerizim, the mountain of blessing and Mount Ebal, the mountain of cursing and says Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse. A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day. And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. And it shall come to pass, when the Lord thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. Brother Bob says to all people in any nation today choose to fear the Lord Jesus and obey His Word while you receive the blessing called Gerizim and avoid the curse called Ebal.

Jesus told Brother Bob to have the people of America read this next paragraph closely and fear the Lord Jesus and repent of their sins to be blessed. Currently in America several states (Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Minnesota) have legalized same sex marriage which the Lord Jesus calls an abomination (something that disgusts God) which brings the wrath of God causing destruction in these disobedient states. Leviticus 20:13 tells us If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committted an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. I know Brother Bob will be persecuted for writing this but I must tell people in America to repent of sins and not support same sex marriage or any law that disobeys the Word of God. If you are a saint living in one of these states with sinful laws, Jesus will spare you but you will see the wrath of God around you.

Friend reading this anywhere just take time to think how the states listed above approving same sex marriage have experienced the wrath of God for disobeying the Word of God. Hurricane Sandy caused massive destruction in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire but did not harm where Brother Bob lives in Ohio (a state that believes marriage is between a man and a woman). Also Massachusetts experienced the wrath of God when bombs went off at the Boston Marathan. Connecticut experienced the wrath of God when little children in a school were killed by a 20 year old in Newtown, Connecticut. Minnesota experienced the wrath of God when in the spring of 2013, record snowfall just hit Minnesota.

Also, take note that the only two states in America that have legalized marijuana or pot are Colorado and the state of Washington. Currently, in Colorado and Washington you can legally smoke and grow pot or marijuana. Colorado and Washington have suffered the wrath of God for these ungodly laws legalizing pot that God calls a fruit of the flesh (Galatians 5:20 calls drug use of pot witchcraft in Greek) (if you check the Greek definition of witchcraft you will find it means drug use and Jesus will cut off witchcraft). Jesus has punished Colorado and Washington for legalizing drug use by literally causing Colorado to burn out of control where cities of 400 homes have burned up looking like the wrath of Sodom and Gomorrah. Also, Colorado suffered the wrath of God by having innocent people killed in a theatre shooting in Aurora Colorado. The state of Washington has also experienced the wrath of God for legalizing pot when bridges collapsed and homes just dropped off cliffs only in the state of Washington.  Brother Bob's prayer in Jesus name is that America would repent, fear God, and remove any law that disobeys the Word of God. Hopefully America will again respect the Lord Jesus in every area of our lives.

For Brother Bob's next secret revealed by Jesus, I decided to place a picture of Mount Everest above. Friend in any nation when you look at Mount Everest above, Brother Bob says to you, Jesus is not asking a great thing of you like climbing Mount Everest or running hundreds of miles to be saved. Like Naaman's servants in the bible who told Naaman to just obey the simple instruction of washing in the Jordan river for healing stated by Elisha, Brother Bob says friend just wash and be clean by the blood of Jesus. It's easy to be saved and I pray in Jesus name right now anyone reading this bible study would repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe in their heart the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

The story about how Naaman obeyed the simple instruction to wash and be clean in the Jordan for a healing can be found at 2 Kings 5:13 that says And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean. The prophet Zechariah stated at Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. The apostle John told us that the fountain that takes away our sins is a fountain of Jesus' blood because Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Note, also that the book of Ephesians 5:26 confirms that Jesus who is the Word washes away our sins for Ephesians 5:26 say That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word.

Brother Bob had to place the above picture of Matthew 11:28 to let any sinner know that if you come to Jesus and repent of the sins listed earlier in this bible study you will receive rest and peace. The blood of Jesus will wash away all your past guilt, Jesus will receive you, remember your sins no more, and grant you eternal peace. Jesus promised at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Look at how the prophet Isaiah promised abundant mercy for sinners who return to Jesus at Isaiah 55:7 that says Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon Him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Brother Bob's prayer for forgiveness of sins that America has committed is Psalm 25:6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy lovingkindness, for they have been ever of old.

Friend reading this you might say Brother Bob I've sinned too much for Jesus to love me but take time to read Psalm 103:17 that says But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children. The infinite mercy of Jesus will remove any sin forevermore. Pray for homosexuals and lesbians because they can be saved and stop living their sinful lifestyle. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says that effeminate and abusers of themselves with mankind (who are homosexuals and lesbians) can be saved. 1 Corinthians 6:11 reads And such were some of you; but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

The prophet Isaiah further acknowledged the wrath of God but stated that God's wrath was just a moment compared to the everlasting kindness from merciful Jesus. Isaiah 54:8 says In a little wrath, I hid my face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. The prophet Jeremiah also told us to return to merciful Jesus at Jeremiah 3:12 that says Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel saith the Lord, and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you; for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger forever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you; and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

For Brother Bob's last thought for today, I want my friends to learn who the ransom is that Job found. Job found the ransom that delivered him from going down to the pit and stated about the Lord Jesus at Job 33:24 Then He is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom. Hallelujah, the apostle Paul proclaimed that the ransom that saved us all from hell was the Lord Jesus because 1 Timothy 2:5-6 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom (the redemption price of Jesus' life to buy us and free us from the slavery of sin) for all, to be testified in due time. Let's all be like Job, rejoicing and praising Jesus for being our found ransom that delivered us from the pit of hell, granting us everlasting peace in the glorious kingdom.

One final revelation for today from Brother Bob is that when Jesus calls you friend in any nation, you will receive comfort. Like Bartimaeus who was comforted by the call of Jesus, any saint will be comforted by the blood of Jesus which now calleth and speaketh better things than that of Abel. This is proven by the two scriptures listed below. Mark 10:49 says And Jesus stood still, and commanded him (Bartimaeus) to be called, And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, Rise, He calleth thee. I claim in Jesus name to all who forevermore read this bible study trusting in the call of Jesus' blood for comfort, peace forevermore for Hebrews 12:24 says And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Our Sufficiency Is Jesus

Today, Brother Bob starts his bible study with an anointed picture above telling my friends everywhere to look up while you look to the hills and our Lord Jesus for your help. Psalm 121 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. King David encouraged saints to look up at mountains because then they will look up higher to our Lord Jesus. Hebrews 13:6 tells us So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Realize friend that Jesus is the answer to everything. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. The apostle Paul stated at Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

This bible study is special and will list many scriptures proving that Jesus is our sufficiency and answer to everything for blessings. I encourage all my friends everywhere to allow Jesus and not themselves to solve any worries, fears, or problems they face on this earth. The apostle Paul stated not to worry about anything but when troubles of the world are around us, pray to Jesus instead of worrying. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing (defined as don't worry about anything) but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (note when troubles arise around us don't react to the trouble in your flesh but learn to pray to Jesus for help and note the resulting peace from Jesus in the next verse.) and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 3:5 says Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. Next look at 2 Corinthians 4:7 that says But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

This week Brother Bob heard a wonderful sermon from my friend Pastor Charles Lawson of Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville Tennessee about how only the Lord Jesus can redeem and give us all the remission from our sins (release us and set us free from the bondage and imprisonment of our sins by buying us back with the blood of Jesus). Take time to meditate on the following anointed bible scriptures that prove how only the Lord Jesus can totally set you free from the bondage of sin and any trouble in this world. Remember John 8:36 says If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

To prove that our sufficiency is Jesus, let's start by looking at Romans 3:25 that says Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (a substitute sacrifice on the cross) through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness; that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Hallelujah, Jesus' death at the cross remitted and set us free from the wages of sin and death, justifying us by the blood of Jesus which overcometh the devil. As you read the next verse praise Jesus while you say Titus 2:14 that says Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Friend reading this anywhere, if you need to be delivered from this evil world, trust Jesus, recite and believe Galatians 1:4 that says Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. Also, say, believe, and memorize one of Brother Bob's favorite bible verses at 2 Timothy 4:18 that says And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Galatians 4:4 further states Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Friend anywhere, look at the flock of sheep pictured above that the bible says sing and shout for joy as they praise the Lord Jesus. The animals and nature are very wise realizing that the Lord Jesus is their sufficiency and deserves their eternal praise. Take time to think about the wonderful bible verse written by King David at Psalm 65:13 that says The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. (wow the flocks of sheep and corn shout for joy and sing praises to Jesus). The apostle Paul also wrote that our sufficiency is Jesus at Acts 26:18 and said To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Take time to praise Jesus while you read this anointed poem written by Thomas Watson in the 1600's. The poem shows us how Jesus loved us by suffering and dying on the cross for us resulting in everlasting glory forevermore. Thomas Watson wrote He who was led to the bar with a band of soldiers shall be attended to the bench as the highest judge with a band of angels. When Jesus was on earth He lay in a manger; Now He sits on a throne. Then He was hated and scorned of men; Now Jesus is adored by angels. Then His name was reproached; Now He has a name above every name. Then He came in the form of a servant and as a servant stood with a bason and towel and washed his disciples' feet; Now He is clad in His princes robes and the kings of the earth cast their crowns before Him. On earth He was a man of sorrows; Now He is anointed with the oil of gladness. On earth was his crucifixion; Now His coronation. Then His Father frowned upon Him in derision; Now He has set Him at His right hand. Before He seemed to have no form or beauty in Him; Now He is in the brightness of His Father's glory.

The prophet Jeremiah also testified that the Lord Jesus only is our sufficiency at Jeremiah 9:23 that says Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. But, let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord, which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. The apostle Paul also glorified the Lord Jesus when he wrote at Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

OK, friends everywhere look at the picture above and lets all do Psalm 150:6 that says Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord; Praise ye the Lord. Praise Jesus while you read some more scriptures below that prove that the Lord Jesus is our sufficiency and supplies all our needs. Genesis 15:1 tells us After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying Fear not, Abram; I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (note the Lord Jesus is an exceeding great reward above anything we desire). Let's all say to Jesus along with King David in praise Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. Friend anywhere if you want the riches in glory or Jesus say Colossians 1:27: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Let's all be like King David and be satisfied with Jesus only who is our peace. Psalm 17:15 says As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. I claim in Jesus name for all who read this bible study forevermore the blessing of rest promised by 2 Chronicles 15:15 that states And all Judah rejoiced at the oath; for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire; and He was found of them; and the Lord gave them rest round about. Be encouraged friend in any country; keep seeking for Jesus by faith daily with your hearts and you will find Jesus and receive continual peace and rest. You will receive a joy and gladness more than any joy this world has to offer. This is proven by Psalm 4:6 that says Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep, for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. Jesus gives us greater joy than the best time any person could experience on this earth. Jesus told me to tell you all that His joy is our best moment on this earth multiplied by infinity forevermore.

Now look at the above picture showing that Jesus (the bright morning star) is a greater blessing than anything this world has to offer. Jesus declared Himself to be the bright morning star at Revelation 22:16 that says I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Say this to the Lord Jesus now: Say Lord Jesus we glorify you as the chiefest and brightest among 10000 stars for Song of Solomon 5:10 says My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. If anyone lines up 10000 stars, Jesus' bright morning star would shine the brightest.

Take time to read this anointed poem from Thomas Watson in the 1600's proving that Jesus is a greater blessing than anything in nature or this world. Thomas Watson stated The sun in the firmament is but a shadow of Jesus, the Son of Righteousness that shines as the light of seven days. The roses and lilies are but shadows of Jesus, the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley. The rivers and fountains on this earth are but shadows of Jesus, the fountain of living waters; the plants and trees are but shadows of Jesus, the tree of life. All the stars of glory are but shadows of Jesus, the bright and morning star.

Friend reading this today, get saved today repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. 1 Corinthians 16:22 warns us that If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha (an accursed, abominable, and detestable person, animal, or thing doomed to destruction with no hope of being redeemed like an animal devoted to God to be slain at the Maranatha or Lord's coming). But come to Jesus today and receive the blessings listed in the book of Thessalonians at 1 Thessalonians 1:10 that says And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Also, remember 1 Thessalonians 5:9 that proclaims For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus for the promise of Romans 5:9 that says Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Living A Holy Life In A Sinful World

For today's bible study let us all be like the little girl pictured above looking to Jesus constantly while we live holy lives daily. This bible study will give my friends everywhere many scriptures on the importance of living holy for Jesus on this earth. First, let me state that one can only be holy when the Lord Jesus is the primary focus in a person's life because Jesus is sanctification and holiness. 1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification (note Jesus is sanctification and holiness), and redemption. Right now get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, live holy, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Decide to live holy for Jesus because you can not even see God unless the Lord Jesus makes you holy by faith (the only way to God the Father is through Jesus). Hebrews 12:14 says Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. To sum everything up, Jesus is the answer.

I encourage all my friends in the many nations to read a blessed book by Joseph Alleine called An Alarm To The Unconverted Sinner that inspired Brother Bob to write this bible study today. I will now write out many bible scriptures that I want you friend to meditate on discussing the blessings saints receive when they live holy lives for Jesus. Romans 2:6 says Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life (note when a person patiently continues in well doing and lives holy for Jesus they are rewarded with glory, honour, immortality, and eternal life): But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.

Friends, continue to live holy for Jesus, do good deeds, and bless the poor, letting everyone see the light of Jesus in your lives. You might say what is the benefit of being holy and doing good deeds for others. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Also a crown of life is promised to all saints who daily live holy for Jesus and bless the poor. James 1:12 tells us Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. You see on this earth, sinful men will do anything to obtain corruptible crowns that perish and fade away, but when saints live holy for Jesus, these saints will receive in the kingdom of God an incorruptible crown that is immortal and never decays. 1 Corinthians 9:25 tells us And every man that striveth for the mastery (allowing Jesus to contend with the devil) is temperate (lives holy by denying his flesh) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible (a crown that is imperishable, immortal, and never decaying).

Isn't the little boy praying pictured above precious, receiving a blessing from the Lord Jesus for being holy. Take time to study the following scriptures about the benefits of living a holy life for Jesus. Proverbs 1:23 says Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Wow, if we deny our flesh when Jesus reproves sin in our lives, a pouring out of blessings from the Spirit will occur through divine revelation from the Word. Proverbs 9:6 tells us Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. This scripture states that holiness with Jesus is life and when we forsake and deny our foolish ways, we obtain life with Jesus.

Look at the blessed words of the prophet Isaiah encouraging us to live holy for Jesus and bless the poor at Isaiah 1:16 that says Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. The prophet Ezekiel also stated that blessings of life occur from living a holy life with Jesus when Ezekiel stated at Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye form your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? James 4:8 says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Titus 2:12 tells us Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

You see sanctification is important because God chose us to salvation through sanctification and living holy lives daily for Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 says But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. Look at the wonderful words of Peter that states how holiness blesses saints to have the title of being Elect where grace and peace is multiplied to them forevermore. 1 Peter 1:2 says Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. Finally, take time to meditate on King David's statement that holiness blesses saints with the honour of ascending into the hill of the Lord while they stand in the holy place with Jesus. Psalm 24:3 proclaims Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Simply stated, living a holy life for Jesus is the will of God. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 says For this is the will of God, even your sanctification (note the apostle Paul stated that sanctification is the will of God), that ye should abstain from fornication. Determine today to live holy with Jesus and be blessed. Also 1 Peter 1:15 says But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Finally, the Lord Jesus wants all the saints who are the glorious church to be holy and without blemish because Ephesians 5:27 says That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

OK, friend in any country reading this today, like Ruth at Ruth 1:16 pictured above say to the Lord Jesus right now Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Also, say the blessed words written by King Solomon to the Lord Jesus at Song of Solomon 1:4 that says Draw me, we will run after thee: the King hath brought me into His chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee. Rejoice and say along with King David Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Finally say along with the prophet Jeremiah Lamentations 3:24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

Joseph Alleine in 1651 wrote instead of singing eat, drink, and be merry, for thou hast much goods laid up for many years, saints should sing Psalm 16:5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines (countries, companies, and bands) are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. The prophet Isaiah stated that these lines or countries of companies are the sons of people that persecuted saints for serving Jesus who will bow to the Jesus dwelling in the saints in the new Jerusalem. Isaiah 60:14 says The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The City of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Here's a revelation Jesus gave to Brother Bob this week about a scripture showing the marriage vows between the church and Jesus where saints are blessed and high above all nations with honour forevermore. Take time to meditate on Deuteronomy 26:17 that says Thou hast avouched (promised or vowed) the Lord this day to be thy God (note that this is the vow of the bride church), and to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and to hearken unto His voice: And the Lord hath avouched (note this is the vow of the bridegroom our Lord Jesus) thee this day to be His peculiar people, as He hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His commandments. And to make thee high above all nations which He hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as He hath spoken.

OK, friend reading this in any country, yield your life to Jesus and say along with the apostle Paul pictured above Lord what wilt thou have me to do? Anything Lord Jesus. Acts 9:6 stated about Paul pictured above And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Joseph Alleine stated in 1651 say to the Lord Jesus, Jesus my heart is an epistle for you to set down your conditions that I'll gladly obey because 2 Corinthians 3:2 states Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. You see friends everywhere who believe in the Lord Jesus, we shine the light of Jesus to the world to save souls. Colossians 4:5 tells us Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 1 Thessalonians 4:12 tells us That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Here's another revelation Jesus gave to Brother Bob this week about how saints should answer a question from Jesus at John 6:67 determining to stay always with Jesus that said Will ye also go away? Let us all answer like Peter, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. I pray in Jesus name that saints who forevermore read this bible study will understand that Jesus is the answer to everything in life proven by the following scriptures. Let us all say along with King David at Psalm 62:1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. He only is my Rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

After reading all these glorious scriptures, Brother Bob must say to Jesus Psalm 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Also say Psalm 119:93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. Lord Jesus let this prayer stated by Paul at Hebrews 13:18 be granted for all my friends everywhere that says Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

To end up today's bible study, look above at an anointed picture of saints who burned their books of curious arts worth 50000 pieces of silver after they were saved through the preaching of the Apostle Paul. Acts 19:19 describes the picture above and says Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it 50000 pieces of silver. We should all be like the saints pictured above and throw away any sinful books, record albums, and material items that do not lift up Jesus from our prior sinful lives in the world before we knew Jesus. What a blessing that the saints pictured above did not collect 50000 pieces of silver for their books, realizing that the sinful books needed to be destroyed because the books could mislead and harm people.

Like the saints above who burned their sinful books, Brother Bob also threw away sinful record albums and cassettes worth thousands of dollars and rejoiced to remove these sinful material objects from my house. Today, everything in Brother Bob's little apartment lifts up Jesus and all of Brother Bob's books, music, and material objects that he owns exalt Jesus. Brother Bob got so happy one day that he wrote the name Jesus in bold letters on papers and placed the papers with the name Jesus over his bed, on the kitchen wall, on the bathroom door, bedroom door, refrigerator, freezer, and outside doors for everyone to see and my apartment has been tremendously blessed by these papers with the name of Jesus. Jesus said at Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name (Jesus) shall they cast out devils. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Like Brother Bob, place the name of Jesus everywhere in and around your home and the devil will not be able to steal or harm anything you own. The name of Jesus has protected Brother Bob's home for over 30 years and nothing has been stolen or harmed. The name of Jesus is better than any home security system.

When I look at the above picture of saints destroying their sinful books, it reminds Brother Bob of a scripture at James 1:21 that says Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (removing all the sinful things from our lives before we knew Jesus) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls. Let us all follow the advice of James 1:21 and remove all sinful objects from our past lives before we knew the Lord Jesus. For my final thought, let's look at how King Hezekiah also destroyed the sinful idol Nehushtan (the former brazen serpent that Moses told the people to look at for healing) because it prevented the people from worshipping the Lord Jesus. 2 Kings 18:4 says He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan (a thing of brass).

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
