First Things First

Repent And Do The First Works
1) The First Works In Giving
First Give Yourself To Bless Jesus And People Everywhere

Jesus told the church of Ephesus at Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works, or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Today like Jesus Brother Bob tells everyone repent and do the first works. Certain things must come first in order to live a successful christian life. Jesus wants us to plan and order our lives to be holy instead of living a random reckless life. 1 Corinthians 14:40 says Let all things be done decently and in order. In other words don't make decisions according to your circumstances; make decisions according to God's instructions from the Word of God in an orderly fashion. I was inspired to write this sermon after listening to Sam Vallini preach Repent And Do The First Works at this youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6THsiL1iKY

OK now I'll list several things that must come first to be blessed because Jesus says repent and do the first works. Let's begin with the first works in giving. 2 Corinthians 8:5 says And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God. This scripture tells us the first works in giving is to give yourself and take time to bless Jesus and people everywhere by witnessing, visiting and encouraging people, and listening while you pray for people's needs. Don't just give your money and talent to others; Take time for people everywhere and give yourself to serve Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 25:40 Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Remember the first works in giving is to give yourself to serve Jesus. Romans 12:1 says I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Deny your flesh and selfish desires for temporary worldly pleasures that last only for a season; Instead give yourself  and sacrifice everything to serve Jesus while you witness everywhere and tell people how to be saved. Right now get saved; Repent, stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Today determine to give yourself totally to serve and witness Jesus everywhere. Be like CT Studd who gave away all his millions of dollars deciding to give himself to be a missionary to Africa at age 72 where he won and saved thousands of African natives to our Lord Jesus. CT Studd said Only one life, twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last. Like CT Studd, Brother Bob left millions of dollars, houses, cars, and all his Jewish relatives to serve Jesus where preachbrotherbob blog has blessed a quarter of a million people all over this earth. Only what we do for Jesus matters. Remember Jesus said at Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

A Story About A Pig And A Chicken Teaching Us That
The First Works In Giving Is To Give Yourself
To Serve Jesus And Bless The Poor

There was a pig and chicken that passed a church
The church sign said Today's sermon How Can We Help The Poor
The chicken told the pig let's give them a ham and egg breakfast
The pig told the chicken that's easy for you to say
You're only making a contribution giving an egg
I'm making a total commitment

Repent And Do The First Works
2) The First Works In Preaching
First Always Preach The Gospel
Our Preaching Is In Vain Without The Gospel

The first works in preaching is to first always preach the gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 defines the gospel as Jesus' death on the cross, burial, and resurrection. Notice that this scripture tells us to first preach the gospel always (the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus) and says Moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I have preached unto you, which also ye have received and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain; For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

The reason we always need to first preach the gospel always is because according to 1 Corinthians 15:14 If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. The gospel needs to take priority and take first place in our preaching because 1 Corinthians 15:17 says And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then 1 Corinthians 15:19 says If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. Remember like Brother Bob preach the gospel first always; shout it from the mountaintops, send it everywhere over this internet, tell the gospel everywhere you travel. The gospel is not a secret to be hoarded; the gospel is a story to be heralded everywhere.

To sum it up; If you don't know what to preach; Preach about Jesus. You'll never lack words to preach about Jesus. The sermons and wisdom about Jesus are infinite and you'll always have words to preach about Jesus. According to John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. Like Paul, let's all believe and say 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Like Leonardo Da Vinci Always Preach About Jesus And The Gospel

When Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Last Supper with Jesus and His disciples, Leonardo worked slowly and meticuously for three years on this painting. The disciples were grouped in groups of three on each side of Jesus. Before any revisions of the painting, Jesus had his arms outstretched with a cup in his right hand. After the first completion of the Last Supper, Leonardo asked for a man's opinion about his Last Supper painting. The man said that the painting was beautiful because the cup was exquisite and magnificent. The man said I can not take my eyes off of the cup.

Immediately Leonardo Da Vinci ran to the Last Supper painting, picked up a paintbrush, dipped it in some paint, struck that paint over the cup, blotting out the cup in Jesus' hand. Leonardo shouted nothing shall take priority over our magnificent Lord Jesus Christ. When people look at the Last Supper painting, the main attraction that must be glorified and exalted is our Lord Jesus Christ. Leonardo didn't want people to notice the disciples or the cup; Leonardo wanted people to only see Jesus glorified in his Last Supper painting.

Like Leonardo Da Vinci, Brother Bob agrees that only Jesus and the gospel deserves the preeminence and glory in our preaching.  Colossians 1:18 proclaims And He (Jesus) is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He (Jesus) might have the preeminence. And remember the wise saying from 1 Corinthians 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

When we first preach about Jesus and the gospel, people will get saved and they will stop sinning. The sin will move out and the Saviour will move in. If we preach Jesus and the gospel first, people won't get sidetracked by doctrines; Doctrines are good to preach and will make sense after we first preach about Jesus and the gospel.

Repent And Do The First Works
3) The First Works In Seeking
First Seek The Kingdom Of God
And Then Jesus Will Fix Everything For You

The first works in seeking is to first seek the kingdom of God and then Jesus will fix everything in your life. Matthew 6:33 says But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Unfortunately most people first seek everything else before the kingdom of God and Jesus. Most people will first seek for a house, job, money, and a car before they seek for the kingdom of God and Jesus. Choose today to place Jesus first before your worldly needs and pleasures. Immerse yourself daily in the Word of God, attend church, and take time to pray daily.

Martin Luther said I've got so many things to do today; I'm gonna spend the first three hours in prayer. Most people spend four years in college to plan for a career that lasts 50 years; but they won't take five minutes to determine where they will spend eternity. Be like Solomon today and choose wisdom (who is Jesus according to 1 Corinthians 1:30) and then all your needs will be met. Like Solomon you'll say Jesus is better than silver, gold, rubies, or anything I could desire. Riches and honour and length of days is with Jesus along with pleasantness and peace (Proverbs 3:14-17).

Repent And Do The First Works
4) The First Works In Reaping
If You Labour For Jesus Witnessing And Blessing Others
You'll Be The First To Reap Blessings

The first works in reaping occur for faithful christians who first reap blessings after they labour by witnessing Jesus everywhere doing good works to people who need help. 2 Timothy 2:6 says The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. In other words if you want to be first in line to get a blessing, every day labour for Jesus by studying the Word of God, praying, and attending your church.

Another scripture that promises that the labourer for Jesus will be the first to receive blessings is at 1 Corinthians 9:7 that says Who planteth a vineyard and eateth not of the fruit thereof? Or who feedeth a flock and eateth not of the milk of the flock? Remember to give your life purpose and meaning, witness and win souls to Jesus everywhere. Go the extra mile by blessing your brothers and sisters in the Lord which is the true sacrifice and labour for our Lord Jesus. Remember Galatians 6:10 says As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.  Jesus will bless you with great joy when you see multitudes of people get saved because you were faithful and preached about Jesus. Jesus promised at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Repent And Do The First Works
5) The First Works In Worship
Remember Before You Can Freely Worship Jesus
You Must First Forgive Everyone Forever
Avoid Angry People Forgive Forever

The first works in worship occurs when someone first decides to forgive forever (even their worst enemies) so they can afterwards freely worship Jesus in total peace. Matthew 5:23-24 says Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother and then come and offer thy gift. In other words, you won't be able to rejoice and freely worship Jesus until you first forgive your enemies forever and remove all bitterness from your life. 1 John 4:20 says If a man say I love God and hateth his brother he is a liar, for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

I always tell people avoid angry people and forgive forever. Leave people alone when they are angry. Proverbs 22:24 says Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go. But if the angry person asks for your forgiveness, don't be bitter; forgive and bless them forever no matter how many times they ask for forgiveness. Remember bitterness and holding grudges put people in early graves and create trouble for the person and everyone around them. Hebrews 12:15 warns us to avoid the trouble from bitterness saying Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

Repent And Do The First Works
6) The First Works In Being Clean And Right With God
First Cleanse Your Heart Within And Repent
Then Your Outside Appearance Will Be Clean And Right With God

The first works in being clean and right with God start when a person cleanses their heart within and repents from their evil ways. Matthew 23:26 says Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Being clean and right with God doesn't start with wearing the right clothes and getting a neat haircut. Getting clean and right with God first starts with cleansing your heart with repentance and a determination to live holy for our Lord Jesus.  In other words being clean and right with God starts from the inside out; not the outside in. When a person's heart is right within after repentance, their outside appearance will become clean and right with God.

The Lord Jesus said at 1 Samuel 16:7 For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. Get your heart right with Jesus, and your outside appearance will automatically become clean and right with God. Proverbs 4:23 promises Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Remember with Jesus start at the center and work your way out. Don't start at the circumference and work your way in. If the hub is right all the spokes will get right.

Repent And Do The First Works
7) The First Works In Rebuking Others
First Work On Yourself And Correct Your Faults
Before You Rebuke Others

The first works in rebuking others occurs when someone realizes that they must first correct their own faults before they can correct anyone else. Luke 6:42 says Either how canst thou say to thy brother let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

In other words, instead of looking at other people's faults, look at yourself through the mirror of God's Word where you will learn about your own faults and be able to correct them. After you learn about how to be a better person from God's Word, then you'll be able to have peace and give blessed advice for success from God's Word to everyone. James 1:25 promises But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Remember look to yourselves first before you can be a blessing to others. 2 Corinthians 13:5 tells us Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Repent And Do The First Works
8) The First Works In Knowledge
First Seek Knowledge From The Holy Spirit And Jesus
Before You Trust The Private Opinions Of Man

The first works in knowledge begin when you first seek wisdom from the Holy Spirit and Jesus before you trust the private opinions of man. 2 Peter 1:20 says Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. There is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit and no better text than God's Word.

Always check God's Word before you believe any preacher's opinion. If a preacher's advice does not line up with God's Word, ignore that preacher's advice. Joseph told us at Genesis 40:8 Do not interpretations belong to God (not to priests or bishops). Ask the Holy Ghost to teach you all things and if a preacher's teachings are correct. 1 John 2:27 says But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you and ye need not that any man teach you; but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. Also note that John 14:26 says But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

If any preacher tells you with his personal opinion to not read any part of the bible saying don't read Revelation because it is too hard to understand, ignore that preacher. Brother Bob says read the bible for yourself and read the book of Revelation asking the Holy Ghost to give you understanding. Revelation 1:3 promises if you either read or hear the book of Revelation you will be blessed. Revelation 1:3 says Blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein for the time is at hand. Read the bible for yourself and learn about Jesus; You don't have to wait on any church leader to interpret the bible for you advising you to follow his erroneous teachings while you fail to read God's Word.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with great joy, peace, and strength in Jesus name. More Things That Will Find You Out

More Things That Will Find You Out
1) Pride Will Find You Out

Pride is another thing that will find you out. The number one thing that the Lord Jesus hates is a proud look where people think they are better than others because of education or race. Proverbs 6:16 says These six things doth the Lord hate, yea seven are an abomination unto Him; A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Remember we are all equal and sinners before God and only Jesus who is perfect should be exalted and glorified. Like Paul say at 1 Corinthians 1:31 He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Notice what happens after a prejudice person is proud and thinks they are better than others. Proverbs 16:18 tells us that pride goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall. And Proverbs 11:2 tells us When pride cometh, then cometh shame. Notice that after pride cometh destruction and shame. Pride will find you out. Instead of being proud and selfish be humble and concerned about the needs of others. Philippians 2:3 tells us Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Remember James 4:10 says Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. Luke 14:11 says For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Pride Found Sennacherib Out

Pride found Sennacherib out. Sennacherib was a proud king who sent threatening letters to King Hezekiah that he would soon conquer him. Hezekiah was humble and according to 2 Kings 19:14 Hezekiah went up into the house of the Lord, and spread it (Sennacherib's threatening letters) before the Lord. The Lord Jesus blessed Hezekiah's humble prayers and in one night just one angel killed 185000 enemy soldiers in Sennacherib's army. Then proud Sennacherib returned with shame of face to his own land where his own sons slew him. 2 Chronicles 32:21 says And the Lord sent an angel which cut off all the mighty men of valour in one night, and the leaders and the captains in the camp of the King of Assyria; So he (Sennacherib) returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels (his sons) slew him there with the sword.

Pride Found Nebuchadnezzar Out

Pride found Nebuchadnezzar out. Nebuchadnezzar was a proud king who tried to exalt himself and have people worship him like a god. Nebuchadnezzar's pride caused him to become an animal that went crazy in the wilderness for seven years. Nebuchadnezzar learned that shame follows pride. But after seven years, Nebuchadnezzar became a humble child of God, repenting where his mind was restored and he again became king.

Take time to read some of the most blessed words in the bible from King Nebuchadnezzar after he became a humble child of God exalting the Lord Jesus. Nebuchadnezzar learned that being humble and blessed with the Lord Jesus is better than the shame that follows pride. Daniel 4:33-37 says The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar; and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured Him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.

Daniel 4:35-37 goes on to say And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors, and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment; and those that walk in pride He is able to abase.

Pride Found Haman Out

Pride found Haman out. Haman was second in power in the Persian Empire. Everybody bowed down to Haman except Mordecai the Jew. Mordecai only bowed down to the God of heaven. Haman was so proud that because only one Jew named Mordecai wouldn't bow down to him, Haman made a gallows to hang Mordecai and made laws to destroy the Jews.  But after the King discovered that Mordecai had saved his life, when he learned that Haman wanted to hang Mordecai, the King had proud Haman hung on his own gallows and let the Jews defend themselves and survive. Haman learned that destruction follows pride.

Be Like Jesus Who Was The Most Humble Person Ever
Don't Let Pride Find You Out

Look to Jesus daily to avoid pride and become humble with many blessings. Because Jesus is the most humble person who died on the cross for all sinners, the name of Jesus is the name above all names. Rejoice and praise Jesus as I list the many ways that Jesus was humble and not proud. First Jesus didn't boast that He lived in a wealthy ivory palace in heaven described at Psalm 45:8; Instead Jesus said at Luke 9:58 Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man hath not where to lay His head.

Next Jesus appeared as a humble lowly carpenter instead of a proud elegantly dressed king. Isaiah 53:2 tells us He (Jesus) hath no form nor comeliness, and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. Jesus was humble and didn't worry about His reputation or the opinions of people but according to Matthew 11:19 Jesus was a friend of publicans and sinners. Jesus was humble and boasted of no degrees from education, yet knowing all things as God the Jews proclaimed at Matthew 7:15 How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

And Jesus didn't boast in pride about His superiority as God but instead said at Luke 22:27 I am among you as He that serveth. And Jesus proclaimed at Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Jesus was humble and gave all credit to the Father instead of exalting himself. Jesus said at John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing; as I hear I judge; and my judgment is just because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father, which hath sent me. Then Jesus said at John 6:38 For I came down from heaven not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.

Finally, Jesus humbled Himself so much that He died on a cross to save wretched sinners like you and me. Phillipians 2:7 tells us Jesus made Himself of no reputation and took upon Him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Remember what our Lord Jesus told us at Proverbs 8:13; The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogancy and the evil way and the froward mouth do I (Jesus) hate. Decide today to get saved and follow humble Jesus and become blessed where you avoid the shame and destruction from pride. Right now repent, stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Determine today to follow the steps of humble Jesus to be blessed listed at 1 Peter 2:21 that says For even hereunto were ye called; because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps; Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth; Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously.

More Things That Will Find You Out
2) Rejecting Jesus Christ Will Find You Out

The worst sin anyone could ever commit is rejecting Jesus Christ. Rejecting Jesus Christ is worse than murder, stealing, drinking, drugs, rape, adultery, and fornication. People can be forgiven for murder, stealing, drinking, drugs, rape, adultery, and fornication but will suffer trouble for these sins on earth. But when anyone rejects Jesus Christ they will forever suffer in the everlasting lake of fire and hell with no forgiveness. You might get by a day, month, or even several years rejecting Jesus, but sooner or later rejecting Jesus will find you out and send you to the lake of fire from the great white throne judgment. Don't commit the worst sin by rejecting Jesus. Remember trust Jesus and go to heaven; Trust anything else and got to hell.

Don't be like King Agrippa who rejected Jesus telling Paul at Acts 26:28 Almost thou persuadest me to be a christian. Almost only counts in horseshoes. There is no record that King Agrippa ever got saved. He's probably in hell.  And don't be like Felix who rejected Jesus telling Paul at Acts 24:25 When I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. Felix's convenient season to accept Jesus is not recorded and Felix is probably in hell.

Instead right now today accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour believing that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Remember Solomon's warning at Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Today (right now) is the day of salvation according to 2 Corinthians 6:2 that says I have heard thee in a time accepted and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.

Jesus is telling everyone reading this at Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock; If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.  Make the choice to accept the Lord Jesus today and remember 1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son (Jesus) hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. And also remember John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blessed multitudes all over this earth with great joy, strength, and peace. Some Things That Will Find You Out

Some Things That Will Find You Out
1) Sin Will Find You Out

Let's look at some things that will find you out. First sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23 tells us Be sure your sin will find you out. It doesn't matter if you're lost or saved; If anyone keeps sinning without daily repentance, God will chastise and reprimand that person for sinning. Galatians 6:7-8 states Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption (destruction); but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

In other words, your sin will find you out creating trouble unless you repent and stop sinning daily. To avoid sin follow Jesus' advice at Luke 9:23; Jesus said if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Every day look with your heart at Jesus crucified and deny your flesh while the blood of Jesus by faith will cleanse away all your sin. Every day stay in the Word of God and pray; This way sin won't find you out if you daily deny your flesh and live holy for Jesus. But if anyone (even a christian) daily keeps sinning with no repentance they will suffer trouble for their sins and might even die. Romans 6:23 states For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Get saved right now and don't let sin find you out; Repent, stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe in your heart the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Remember the warning that sin will find you out. The pleasure of sin is only for a season. Sin (fornication, drinking, drugs, gambling, and stealing) might be fun for a season but it always ends in misery and will find you out. It's like a seed that is planted in a field covered by dirt that can't be seen at first. But after a while, the dirt is removed and a sprout along with fruit appears where the whole world can recognize and see the fruit. Like this seed that eventually appears, you can cover up your sin for a season, but eventually your sin will find you out and be noticed everywhere.

It doesn't matter where you run to or hide or how much money you have, Be sure that your sin will find you out. The Lord Jesus said at Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them, though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down. And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

Don't Become Numb To Sin And Allow Sin To Find You Out
People That Get Used To Sinning, Keep On Sinning And Then Die
Repent Daily And Stop Sinning To Avoid Trouble

The reason most people keep sinning and experience trouble is because they become numb to sin. People sit for hours and watch sinful images of pictures on their cellphones on youtube and facebook. These people become numb to sin and think evil is good and good is evil. They get used to sinning and feel no shame saying that the world and everyone says certain sins are OK. But what matters is what God's Word says about sin. Many people will hear preachers tell them to stop fornicating, drinking, stealing, lying, gambling, and cheating but have no conviction because they are numb and used to sinning every day. Quit being numb to sin and right now decide to stop sinning where every day you take time to pray, study the Word of God, and attend church. Make the choice today; Deny sin with Jesus and live or keep sinning and die.

Say the following scriptures from God's Word telling us to daily stop sinning to avoid trouble. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and receive with meekness the engrafted Word which is able to save your souls. Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Read A Story About How Hunters Caught Ducks Using Pumpkins
Where Becoming Numb To Sin The Ducks Died

Several hunters wanted to catch some ducks swimming in a river. But every time they got too close to the ducks, the ducks flew away. After the hunters found a pumpkin patch, they decided to float the pumpkins down the river by the ducks. When the ducks first saw the pumpkins floating by, they flew away. Then the hunters kept floating the pumpkins by the ducks every day until the ducks got used to (numb) to the pumpkins and stayed on the river.

After the ducks got used to pumpkins floating by, the hunters hollowed out several pumpkins and put two eyeholes in the pumpkins, put the pumpkins over their heads, waded out into the river by the ducks with only their pumpkin heads sticking out. When the hunters with the pumpkin heads got face to face with the ducks, they grabbed the ducks and caught them. In other words, Dead Duck.

Learn a lesson from this story about the hunters and the ducks. The reason the ducks died was because they got used to what was around them and got numb to the danger around them. Like these ducks, many people today are getting used to and numb to sin around them which can eventually kill them.  Every day avoid sin by asking angels by faith to cover you in the blood of Jesus that overcomes the devil and keeps sin from finding you out.

Read A Story About How A Little Compass Sunk A Big Ship
Remember Avoid Little Sins To Prevent Big Troubles

After a ship sunk that hit an iceberg where all the passengers perished, an investigation occurred to determine what caused the accident. Divers discovered at the bottom of the ocean a compass that was stuck and not moving. This was because a man trying to clean dirt from the compass with a little knife broke off a little piece of metal into the compass, causing the compass to stop working. Therefore the compass pointed the ship into the wrong direction leading to the ship's destruction. In other words, only a little piece of metal smaller than a pinky nail caused a big ship to sink where all the people perished.

Learn a lesson from this story about the ship and the compass. Don't allow little tiny sins to create big trouble in your life. Every day constantly deny even the smallest sin; Ephesians 4:27 tells us Neither give place to the devil. Remember Galatians 5:9 says A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Don't allow a tiny sin that you know is wrong to ruin your testimony for Jesus and create trouble in your life. Constantly deny even the smallest sin daily to experience peace.

Note the following two scriptures telling us to avoid tiny sin to prevent big trouble. Song of Solomon 2:15 says Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes. And Ecclesiastes 10:1 says Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour; so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.

Some Things That Will Find You Out
2) Jealousy Will Find You Out

Next jealousy will find you out. Song of Solomon 8:6 warns us that jealousy is cruel as the gave and leads to death. Jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. It's wrong for preachers to become jealous and want the largest crowds and the most popularity. It's wrong for singers to become jealous and want the most recognition in a church. It's wrong to become jealous of your neighbor when he gets a new car or a new house. Remember don't be jealous because jealousy leads to an early grave.

Remember that the enemies of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because of jealousy died while throwing the three Hebrew boys into the fiery furnace. Daniel 3:22 tells us Therefore because the kings commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And also remember that the enemies of Daniel because of jealousy who tried to kill Daniel in a lion's den, were thrown into the lion's den and died.

Instead of being jealous, today choose to obey Romans 12:15 that tells us the cure for jealousy; Rejoice with them that do rejoice and weep with them that weep; Be of the same mind one toward another; Mind not high things but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits; Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
