Holy Biblical Truths

Today let's learn many holy biblical truths from our Lord Jesus. The other day Jesus told Brother Bob to go to a farm and watch baby lambs pictured above eat hay. The baby lambs were focused on the hay and would not look at Brother Bob or let me pet or hold them. Brother Bob told Jesus that this was boring and did not know why God would have him watch sheep eat hay for an hour.

But the next day, Brother Bob heard a preacher speak about why sheep and lambs eat hay quickly whole without chewing. The preacher said that after the sheep eat a lot of hay, they lay down in a field, and then start chewing on the hay before they swallow the hay. Chipmunks also do this. Chipmunks gather a lot of food in their jaws and then relax and lay down while they chew on the food. Jesus told Brother Bob that we need to be like these sheep and chipmunks when we daily meditate on God's Word.

Brother Bob learned that like the sheep and chipmunks, listen daily to preaching and fill your Spirit with the Word of God while you jot down notes when you hear a blessed truth. Just continuously listen and feed your Spirit daily with blessed preaching from the Word of God. Some blessed preachers to listen to are Peter Ruckman, Bill Grady, and Nathan Bemis. Listen to preaching while you cook, clean your house, and do chores. When the Word goes through your house, the devil will flee from your presence. When Jesus spoke the Word saying It is written to the devil, Matthew 4:11 says Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him. Like Jesus, when we listen daily to the Word of God in our homes, the devil will leave us and angels will come and minister strength unto us.

If you can't remember everything preached that day from the Word of God, like the sheep and chipmunks, later another day when you relax, meditate, and chew on the Word of God, Jesus will have you remember what was preached days before and strengthen you. Just constantly keep listening to blessed preaching of the Word of God. Hebrews 2:1 says Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Also, notice that the baby lambs pictured above are focused on the hay when they eat. Like the baby lambs, we need to stay focused on the Word of God daily.  Psalm 1 promises that if we meditate day and night on the Word of God, whatsoever we do will prosper. Psalm 1:2 promises But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Friends everywhere, God's Word is the truth. If anyone meditates and memorizes the Word of God daily like sheep and chipmunks daily chewing on their food, the Lord Jesus will fix and heal every problem in that person's life.

For our next holy biblical truth, notice the blessed sign pictured above saying east west. Psalm 103:12 says As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Billy Kelly preached why Jesus did not remove our sins as far as the north is from the south. Jesus did not remove our sins as far as the north is from the south because the devil could find our sins at the North and South Pole. But, there is no beginning and ending or start and finish to the east and west. Neighbor anywhere, when Jesus removes your sin by His blood as far as the east is from the west, no devil or anyone could ever find your sins again. Hallelujah, they're gone forevermore friend and Jesus will never remember your past sins.

One day the devil tried to find our sins and started walking east and when he got to the west he discovered that he kept walking east and could not find our sins. So the devil thought OK I'll start walking west to find their sins and when he got to the east he discovered that he kept walking west and could not find our sins. Hallelujah, Jesus has removed our sins as far as the east is from the west and the devil can't find our past sins because there is no beginning and ending or start and finish to the east and west.

For our next holy biblical truth we see pictured above a hammer, a rock, and a chisel. This reminds Brother Bob of what heathens in the jungles of Africa use to make idols for worship. A primitive heathen in the jungle will hammer a rock or whittle a piece of wood with a chisel to make an idol to be worshipped. These heathens need to learn that only the Lord Jesus must be worshipped.  Heathens will learn that God made the hammer, the rock, the wood, the chisel, and God also made the chiseler.

Colossians 1:16 says For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. Friends everywhere, don't be like the heathens that worship idols. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Heathens that worship idols have no excuse for not believing that Jesus is God because Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

Alright, let's learn the three times God wrote something with his finger. First, God wrote with his finger the ten commandments when He met Moses on top of mount Sinai. This was the law. Next, pictured above God wrote upon the plaister of the wall over against the candlestick at King Belshazzar's party, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. This was God's judgment upon King Belshazzar who died after he placed wine in the holy vessels of God.

Unlike Belshazzar, we must respect and reverence the holy things of God. When King Belshazzar took wine and placed it in the holy vessels of the temple, it was like taking a church piano to a bar to play sinful songs. Numbers 32:23 says But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Belshazzar died because he did not respect or reverence the holy vessels of God. Unlike Belshazzar, stop sinning and reverence the holy things of God to avoid death and receive eternal life.

But the final time God wrote something with His finger was when the Lord Jesus wrote something on the ground, causing the accusers of a woman taken in adultery to walk away. Brother Bob believes Jesus wrote with his finger on the ground amazing grace how sweet the sound. This is because Jesus said before he wrote on the ground at John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Then John 8:9 says And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Notice, that Jesus said He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone. And when Jesus was the only one left standing with the woman taken in adultery, Jesus could have stoned her because Jesus had no sin. But Jesus showed mercy to the woman saying Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Hebrews 4:15 proves that Jesus is perfect with no sin who could have stoned this woman, but Jesus showed mercy and set her free. The scripture says For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Friends reading this anywhere, Jesus says to you like the woman taken in adultery, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Pictured above let's learn about our final holy biblical truth today about how the disciples were determined to bring Jesus in a boat over a stormy lake to a lost sinner needing salvation at Gadarenes. Luke 8 says that this sinner of Gadarenes lived in tombs, had devils a long time, ware no clothes, broke chains and fetters, and ran many times into the wilderness.

But one day this sinner noticed that a storm on the lake by his house in the tombs became peaceful and calm. This sinner prayed that whoever made the storm calm when he heard someone say Peace be still could visit his home in Gadarenes. Notice that the disciples had to carry Jesus in a boat over a stormy lake to the sinner who needed to be saved at Gadarenes. Friends everywhere, saved saints are like these disciples and must carry Jesus over this troubled world to save lost sinners everywhere around this earth. Jesus commanded us at Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The disciples pictured above successfully carried Jesus to the sinner at Gadarenes. Friends, like these disciples know that Jesus in us is greater than any trouble around us and keep sending the message of Jesus to lost sinners for salvation while you are delivered from all your troubles. 2 Corinthians 4:8 says We are troubled on every side; yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.

Jesus saved this lost sinner of Gadarenes and cast out legion devils into swine who ran violently down a steep place into a lake and were choked. Luke 8:35 says the sinner of Gadarenes out of whom the devils were departed was sitting at the feet of Jesus clothed and in his right mind. This crazy nut got saved, put on clothes, and became like Brother Bob; publishing and writing books about the great things Jesus had done unto him. I pray in Jesus name soon in heaven we all will have the honor to read these blessed writings from the sinner of Gadarenes about how Jesus delivered him from the legion devils and how he proclaimed Jesus to the world.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Mamas Keep Packin' Those Lunches

Today we will learn about a blessed mother who packed a lunch of two small fishes and five loaves of bread that her little boy pictured above gave to the Lord Jesus to feed five thousand people. A miracle happened when the Lord Jesus fed the five thousand people with the two fishes and five loaves of bread. And after all the people were filled by the food, twelve baskets holding fragments of the fish and bread were gathered. This proves that the Lord Jesus not only supplies our needs. The Lord Jesus will give us exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

The story about the picture above where God used a little lad with two fishes and five loaves of bread to feed five thousand people is found at John 6:5. When Jesus then lifted up His eyes, and saw a great company come unto Him, He saith unto Phillip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this He said to prove him: for He Himself knew what He would do. Phillip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

John 6:8 goes on to say One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place; So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when He had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, He said unto His disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

A Blessed Summary Of How Jesus Fed 5000
First There Was A Bread Problem
Then There Was A Budget Proposed
Then There Was A Boy Presented
Finally There Was A Bounty Provided

Notice that Jesus asked a little boy with two fishes and five loaves of bread to give Him his lunch to feed five thousand people. This little boy learned from his mama not to be selfish and gave his packed lunch to Jesus to feed five thousand. If this little boy's mama didn't pack his lunch of two fishes and five loaves of bread, Jesus would not have performed any miracle to feed the multitude. Sisters everywhere, remember that the greatest job you could do is be a good mother to your kids. Deborah said that when she arose a mother (not a prophetess, leader, or politician) and fought with Barak against the enemy for her kids, they could safely inhabit villages at Judges 5:7.

Let's learn how the little lad's mom was important by packing a lunch of fishes and bread for her child to give to Jesus to feed five thousand. Pictured above, the little boy's mom caught and cleaned the fish that she put in the little boy's lunch. If mama didn't catch and clean the fish, the little boy would have nothing to give to Jesus to feed five thousand people. We should all praise unnoticed godly mothers who train their children to bless everyone.

I pray in Jesus name that we can be like this blessed mother by doing things behind the scenes to bless multitudes of people. Mama also placed bread (representing the Word of God Jesus) in the little boy's lunch bag. Instead of placing an ungodly music CD in the kid's lunch bag, mama told the little boy to give the bread or Word of God to his friends.

Pictured above, I believe the little boys mama wanted to bless all people of all races and backgrounds. This mother taught her little boy to bless the poor and always give them food, clothing, and money. She taught her son James 1:27 that says Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

This little boy remembered mama's teachings and was not selfish, but was willing to give away all of his lunch (all of the two fishes and five loaves of bread) to the Lord Jesus to feed five thousand people. The little boys mama knew the importance of training her child daily about the Word of God and our Lord Jesus. This mother daily trained her child to live for Jesus because she knew that Proverbs 29:15 says The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. This little boys mama also believed Proverbs 22:6 that says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

This little boys mother did not allow her son to be around a gossiping baby sitter that watches youtube, facebook, and tiktok all day. Mama daily surrounded this boy with praise music and the Word of God. Mama did not want her child to see the evil shown on youtube, facebook or tiktok. Too many kids today are left by parents who work all day to sit by a cellphone watching wicked gossip on youtube, facebook, and tiktok for hours. Mamas reading this everywhere, program a computer for your kids to hear music and preaching about our Lord Jesus.

Let's all obey Psalm 101:3 saying for us and our children, I will set no wicked thing (anything that is wicked on a cellphone or computer) before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. Instead let's all agree with King David and say Psalm 16:8. I have set the Lord (the Word of God) always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Brother Bob says to parents and children that continously for hours look at their cellphones, facebook, tiktok, and X Twitter, notice the gem pictured above. God has no cellphone, but I talk to Him; He has no facebook, but He's always my friend, and He does not have an X twitter, but I follow Him.

Parents reading this everywhere, remember that our children are important and that it was a little boy that blessed Jesus and five thousand people with food. Train your children to be a blessing and help the poor and needy widows and orphans everywhere. Don't let too much facebook, youtube, and tiktok stop kids from serving the Lord Jesus. Today most kids spend more time on cellphones, facebook, youtube, and tiktok than with the Lord Jesus and the Word of God.

I pray in Jesus name that the kids today can be like the little boy that gave his fish and bread to the Lord Jesus instead of wasting time on cellphones, facebook, youtube, and tiktok. Pastors train up children to be singers and preachers in your churches. Children when you go to church turn off your cellphones and computers and allow Jesus to use you to bless multitudes like the little boy that gave his lunch to the Lord Jesus to bless five thousand people.

One other note about how Jesus fed the multitude with two fishes and five loaves of bread. Notice that a humble disciple named Andrew told Jesus that the little boy had the two fishes and five loaves of bread. Andrew, like the little boy's mama, was also blessing people behind the scenes.

We always hear about Peter, James, and John. But Andrew who is humble and often goes unnoticed is one of Brother Bob's favorite disciples. Andrew led Peter to Jesus and because Peter got saved, Peter preached and was able to save 3000 sinners that had crucified Jesus. If Andrew didn't save Peter, 3000 sinners would not have been saved by Peter. If Andrew didn't tell Jesus about a little boy with two fishes and five loaves of bread, 5000 people would have gone hungry. I pray in Jesus name, we can all be like Andrew and lead multitudes to accept the Lord Jesus, believing that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Be Like Andrew And Witness Jesus Everywhere And Save Lost Sinners
Get Saved, Repent, Decide To Stop Sinning,
Confess That Jesus Is God, And Believe The Gospel
That Jesus Died On The Cross For You, Was Buried, And Rose Again

One final question for today's bible study. Where did Jesus and His disciples give the twelve baskets of fragments of fish and bread pictured above after the multitude was filled with food? I believe Jesus gave the twelve baskets of fragments of food to the little boy and told the twelve disciples to help the little boy carry the blessed food home to mama. I could see this little boy testifying to mama that because she packed his lunch and trained him to help the poor, Jesus fed five thousand with her packed lunch. Then the little boy would say mama Jesus wanted to thank you for the lunch by creating twelve baskets of extra food to feed you many days, while all the disciples and the little boy rejoiced.

Jesus Also Fed 4000 With Seven Loaves Of Bread And A Few Fish At Decapolis
Mark 6:35-45 Gives Another Account Where Jesus Fed 5000 At Bethsaida
With Five Loaves Of Bread And Two Fishes

On two occasions Jesus created food to feed the multitudes who had nothing to eat. Mark 7:31-8:9 says at Decapolis, Jesus fed 4000 with seven loaves of bread and a few fish. At Bethsaida, Jesus fed 5000 with five loaves of bread and two fish. Matthew 15:35 tells when Jesus fed 4000 who had nothing to eat. And He (Jesus) commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

Mark 6:35-45 tells how Jesus fed 5000 who had nothing to eat. And when the day was now far spent, His disciples came unto Him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed: Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto Him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And He commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, He looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided He among them all. And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

Note that Jesus turned the desert into green grass when he multiplied the five loaves and two fishes to feed 5000. Whenever Jesus walks on the earth the desert and the wilderness blossom with streams and life. When Jesus rules this earth during the millennium the wilderness and desert will rejoice and blossom. Isaiah 35:1 says The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Isaiah 35:5-7 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

A Whale Of A Servant

Many animals in the bible were obedient servants that were willing to be a blessing for our Lord Jesus. The rooster crowed on time to warn Peter of his third denial of the Lord Jesus. The donkey spoke on time to warn Balaam about an angel with a sword before him. A fish was willing to give money to Peter and Jesus to pay their taxes. A camel was willing to take Rebekah on a journey to meet her husband Isaac. The ravens were willing to take bread and flesh to Elijah for food in a famine. A worm was willing to smite and wither a gourd above Jonah to teach Jonah that God is more concerned about lost souls in Nineveh that repent than a worthless gourd giving shade. But, pictured above, this study will discuss the whale that swallowed Jonah who was Brother Bob's favorite animal servant.

God prepared the happy whale pictured above who was willing to launch out into the deep, catch, and save a backslid preacher named Jonah. Jonah 1:17 says Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Matthew 12:40 says that a whale swallowed Jonah saying For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Friends, we all need to be like this whale, willing to save lost sinners like Jonah and follow Jesus as fishers of men. Jesus told us at Matthew 4:19 Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Notice that God prepared the whale to be available to swallow Jonah at the exact time when Jonah was thrown overboard from a ship. The whale was willing to be a faithful witness and be at the right place at the right time to save Jonah. This whale was truly a whale of a servant. I pray in Jesus name, that we all can be like this whale and say Lord Jesus I'm willing to launch out into the deep and go any place you request to win lost sinners to the Lord Jesus.

Like Isaiah who repented after a seraphim touched his unclean lips with a live coal, let's all say Here am I Lord, send me wherever you want to win lost sinners to our Lord Jesus. Isaiah 6:8 says Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Friends, let's all be like the whale and Isaiah and obey Jesus' command at Luke 14:23 and Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled (going everywhere to win lost souls to our Lord Jesus). Just witness everywhere at Walmarts, Cracker Barrels, and laundramats asking people How do you get to heaven? Then tell them get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Now think about this: If the whale pictured above did not allow God to prepare him to be a servant and refused to swallow Jonah who was thrown overboard; the 120000 lost sinners living in Nineveh would not have been saved because Jonah would have died and not been able to warn the sinners of Nineveh to repent. The people of Nineveh were blessed and repented at Jonah's sermon of only 8 words at Jonah 3:4 Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. If these Ninevites could repent at an 8 word sermon from Jonah, we should all repent because we have the many scriptures and the Word Jesus to guide us daily.

Take time to read what the bible says these people of Nineveh will say in the time of judgment to our generation that has Jesus and the Word as our preacher instead of Jonah. Matthew 12:41 says The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas (only 8 words); and behold, a greater than Jonas (Jesus) is here. Right now, friend anywhere, like the people of Nineveh get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Jonah did not like the Ninevites and went to the east of Nineveh to sit in a booth and wait for forty days, hoping that the Ninevites who were his enemies would be destroyed. But God blessed the people of Nineveh for repenting and did not destroy them. The Lord Jesus rebuked Jonah who was more concerned about a worthless gourd giving him shade than the lost sinners of Nineveh. Friends, Brother Bob says don't be like Jonah; instead, rejoice when your enemies get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for them, was buried, and rose again.

OK, let's talk again about the whale who was one of the greatest servants for our Lord Jesus in the bible. Pictured above we see a whale named Moby. But the whale that swallowed Jonah had no name; Moby didn't swallow Jonah. The whale that swallowed Jonah was humble and had no name so people could see the Lord Jesus and not the whale.

The bible tells us to be like this unnamed whale and say Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. Like this unnamed whale we should all only exalt the Lord Jesus and not ourselves. Let's say with John the Baptist at John 3:30 He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease. The disciple John also was unnamed, willing to only be called the disciple whom Jesus loved. Right now friends, like Brother Bob, the whale, and John, let's become unnamed and allow people to see the light of Jesus in us.

If the light of Jesus shines in us as unnamed saints, people will glorify the Father and Jesus in heaven. Matthew 5:16 says Let your light (Jesus) shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. And note that when we become unnamed like the whale and only lift up the Lord Jesus, people from all parts of this earth will come together as one and get saved. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

OK, notice also that the whale in the picture above that swallowed Jonah was willing to be alone with God in the deep to be trained as a faithful servant that would save Jonah and the people of Nineveh. Friends, like the whale make time to get alone with the Lord Jesus early in the morning. God said at Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Take five minutes every morning to thank Jesus for dying on the cross for you and tell the devil daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus that has overcome the devil, cleansed me from all my sin, and caused evil to pass over me.

Moses like the whale was willing to be trained on the backside of the desert at a burning bush about leading the children of Israel out of Egypt. John the Baptist was willing to be trained in the wilderness to know how to baptize our Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim at John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. The apostle Paul also was willing to be alone with the Lord Jesus and trained for three years on the backside of the desert of Arabia before he preached before Peter, James, and the heathen.

Remember like Moses, John the Baptist, Paul, and the whale, we as saints are just branches and we need to take time alone with the vine Jesus to be effective witnesses for our Lord Jesus. Jesus said at John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in  me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Take time to read Galatians 1:15 about Paul's ministry; But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia (the desert alone with the Lord Jesus), and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

OK, one final remark about the whale that swallowed Jonah who was Brother Bob's favorite animal servant in the bible. This whale like the one pictured above had to leave his world and surface to take a breath from God outside of this world. Like this whale, to be effective servants and witnesses for our Lord Jesus we must deny this world and live daily for our Lord Jesus. James 4:4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15 says Love not he world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Like whales, saints must leave this troubled world and take a breath of life from our Lord Jesus by meditating daily on the Word of God. People have told Brother Bob, I can't talk to people about Jesus and God. Brother Bob says if most people can talk about the weather, politics, and the football games to everyone, you should be able to talk about the Lord Jesus to everyone. What Happens When A Sinner Sees The Lord Jesus

What Happens When A Sinner Sees The Lord Jesus

What happened when Isaiah saw the Lord Jesus? Isaiah 6:1 says In the year that king Uzziah died I (Isaiah) saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Isaiah 6:5 describes what happened when Isaiah saw the Lord Jesus. Isaiah said Woe is me. for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Like Isaiah, daily see the Lord Jesus crucified high and lifted up and repent saying Woe is me. for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Like Isaiah, repent and get saved. A person repents when they decide to stop sinning. Repentance is a requirement to be saved. 2 Corinthians 7:10 says For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Jesus commanded everyone to repent. Acts 17:30 says And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. Jesus said at Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 24:47 says And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses (not Jehovah Witnesses) of these things.

Repentance is a gift from God that is required to be saved. This is proven by Acts 11:18 that says When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. Salvation with the Lord Jesus is a two step process. First a person repents to God and then they have faith in the Lord Jesus to get saved with Jesus. Repentance without faith in the Lord Jesus can not save a person.

Repentance is married to faith. You need both repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus to be saved. Acts 20:20 says And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you. but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance turns you from sin and faith turns you to Jesus. Repentance brings you out of sin and faith brings you in to Jesus. Repentance causes you to stop sinning and faith causes you to start living for Jesus. Repentance causes you to quit sinning and faith causes you to begin living for Jesus.

Repentance and good works without faith in the Lord Jesus can not save a person. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. But we do good works to witness Jesus everywhere and save lost sinners.

Christians will be rewarded for their good works after the rapture by Jesus at the bema judgment seat in heaven. James 2:20 says But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? This is why Ephesians 2:10 goes on to say For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Proverbs 28:13 speaks about repentance. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Notice that this scripture says if anyone covers their sins and refuses to repent, they shall not prosper. But if anyone confesseth and forsaketh (stops sinning), they shall have mercy. A lot of people just confess and say they will stop sinning. But a person must also repent and forsake their sins (stop sinning) to have mercy.

What happened when Job saw the Lord Jesus? Job told the Lord Jesus at Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Like Job, when we see the Lord Jesus, we'll abhor our sinful flesh, get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for us, was buried, and rose again.

Numbers 32:23 says Be sure your sin will find you out. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you don't get rid of sin, sin will get rid of you. It's wrong to say I haven't sinned because I'm a good person even if I don't get saved with Jesus. Remaining neutral about Jesus is a rejection of Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Note the following scriptures that tell us to repent and live holy lives for the Lord Jesus to be blessed. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.1 John 2:1 says My little children, these things I write unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

What happened when Daniel saw the Lord Jesus? Daniel 10:5 says Then I (Daniel) lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and His face as the appearance of lightning, and His eyes as lamps of fire, and His arms and His feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of His words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Daniel saw a pre incarnate theophany manifestation of the Lord Jesus.  This was the same vision of the Lord Jesus that John saw on the isle of Patmos. Revelation 1:12 says And I (John) turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters. And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in His strength.

Note that Daniel's vision was almost identical to John's vision of the Lord Jesus. Jesus has a girdle belt of fine gold around his loins, His body is like beryl (yellow and orange jasper, like a consuming fire), His face is like lightning as the sun shineth in His strength, His eyes are like lamps and flames of fire, His arms and feet are like fine polished brass that burned in a furnace, and His voice is as the sound of many waters, like the voice of a multitude whose Word is like a sharp twoedged sword.

The reaction of Daniel's companions (who felt a great terror and fled, even though they didn't see the vision, similar to Paul's experience on the road to Damascus) also suggests that Daniel saw a pre incarnate theophany manifestation of the Lord Jesus.

Like Daniel, when we see the Lord Jesus, we also will admit that we have a corrupt sinful nature that needs the blood of Jesus to cleanse and remove our sins. Ephesians 2:3 says Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved; And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Titus 3:3 says For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

What happened when Habakkuk saw the Lord Jesus? Habakkuk 3:16 says When I (Habakkuk) heard, my belly trembled, my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble; when He cometh up unto the people, He will invade them with His troops.

What happened when Saul (Paul) saw the Lord Jesus Christ? Like Habakkuk, Saul also trembled and was astonished when he saw the Lord Jesus. Acts 9:3 says And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

After Saul the sinner saw the Lord Jesus, Saul went to straight street. Like Saul, when sinners repent, God sends them to straight street. God doesn't send anyone to crooked street. This is because Matthew 7:13 says Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The strait gate is on straight street. You can't get in the strait gate on crooked street.  Pictured above Ananias obeyed Jesus' request at Acts 9:11 and arose and went into a street which is called Straight and enquired in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth. And after Ananias prayed for Saul, Saul became Paul and received his sight.

Like Paul, after we see the Lord Jesus, we'll say 1 Timothy 1:15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Like Paul, after God shines the light of conviction on us and we see ourselves as wretched sinners, we'll all agree with Romans 7:18 and say For I know that in me that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. We'll say Romans 7:24. O wretched man that I am. who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

What happened to Peter when he saw the Lord Jesus? Peter told the Lord Jesus at Luke 5:8 Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. Peter acknowledged that he was a sinful man and repented before the Lord Jesus.

Peter was a sinner who was a sabbath keeping, pork abstaining, synagogue going, circumcised Jew that didn't have anything to do with Gentiiles. But Peter was blessed and repented by obeying God's command to visit the Gentile Cornelius' house and rejoice that the gift of the Holy Ghost was received by a Gentile Roman centurion named Cornelius. Let's be like Peter and repent of our sinful traditions and live daily for the Lord Jesus while we witness the Lord Jesus everywhere.

The above picture shows us what happened to Peter after John brought him into the palace where Jesus was being tried. Note that the picture accurately shows the damsel in the palace, the maid on the porch, and Malchus (the soldier whose ear Peter injured that Jesus healed) all accusing Peter of being with Jesus, while Peter denied the Lord Jesus thrice after the rooster crowed twice.

Why do most preachers like chicken?
They're trying to get rid of that crowing rooster
A preacher's belt ain't nothing but a fence around a chicken's graveyard

John 18:17 says Then saith the damsel that kept the door (of the palace) unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. Then the maid on the porch told Peter at Matthew 26:71 This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he (Peter) denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

Then Malchus recognized Peter at John 18:26 that says One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with Him? I'm sure Malchus remembered that Peter was the one who injured his ear. John 18:27 says Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. Matthew 26:74 says Then began he (Peter) to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

Don't be like Peter who associated with evil companions by warming himself by the fading fires of this world enjoying the temporary pleasures of sin that end in misery. Luke 22:55 says And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them. Peter warmed himself by the enemy's fire. Peter got his thrill the same way sinners in the world got their thrill.

Don't be like Peter and get your thrills the same way the world gets its thrills (warming yourself by the world's fire). In other words when you get your thrills the same way sinners in the world get their thrills (smoking pot, drinking beer, fornicating, cursing, and wasting all day texting on your cellphone and posting gossip on facebook) you're falling away from God. Remember James 4:4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

It's easy to float downstream with the world's current. But decide today to live for Jesus and go upstream against the world's current. You know that you are growing with Jesus when you become less like the world. An old Japanese missionary used to say that the duty of every christian in any age is to discern the spirit of the age and then to go diametrically opposed to it.

Take time to read how my good friend Pastor Sonny Mull described how Peter denied Jesus. This is anointed, so read it and rejoice for joy. First, a damsel in the palace accused Peter of being a disciple that followed Jesus, and Peter said I am not, I don't know the man. And then a maid on the porch accused him and he denied it again. And then Malchus, the soldier whose ear Peter injured in the garden, He said, You are one of them, I saw you in the garden. I'm sure Malchus had a good memory of Peter as the man who attacked him in the Garden of Gethsemane.

And so in  order for Peter to escape these accusations, Peter had to curse and swear that he did not know Jesus. Some of you boys down at your workplace will tell a dirty joke so your coworkers will leave you alone. You don't want to be too religious because your coworkers will pick on you. So you'll curse and swear like the rest of them so they'll think you're just another old joe that wants to be friends. Bless God friend, be a man on your job, willing to be persecuted for Jesus, and stand up for Jesus, stand up for Jesus.

By the time Peter got done cursing and swearing that he did not know Jesus, the rooster crowed Er, Er, Er, Er, Er and old Peter fell on his face and started crying. A preaching chicken and a chicken preacher were face to face. But Peter, James, and John were three special disciples that went a little farther into the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus. They might have fell down but they didn't stay down long. Peter wept bitterly and repented that he denied Jesus three times and became one of the greatest preachers that ever lived.

Now after Jesus was crucified and died, Peter and the disciples again got discouraged and decided to go fishing shown by the two pictures above, and Peter fished naked. Peter and the disciples got discouraged and decided to fish instead of preach about Jesus. After Jesus died, Peter said I go a fishing. 7 disciples (Peter, Thomas, Nathaniel, James, John, and two other disciples) said We'll go with you.

When Jesus died, the disciples thought well it's all over, we might as well go back to fishing. You know that you're backsliding when you return to your former habits of this world before you got saved. Philippians 3:13 says Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

And they were out there in the boat fishing all night and hadn't caught a thing. And at daylight, Jesus was on the shore walking and the disciples didn't know who He was. And Jesus said, Hey boys Did you catch any fish? And the disciples realized it was the Lord and replied Not a bite. Then Jesus said Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. Then John recognized Jesus and told Peter that Jesus was on the shore. Peter immediately covered his nakedness and girt his fisher's coat unto him, and did cast himself into the sea. And the other disciples came in a little ship; for they were not far from land, but as it were 200 cubits, dragging the net with fishes.

Why did Peter and the disciples catch 153 fish?

John 21:11 says Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, 153, and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. Note that the Greek definition for 153 is a quantity so great or an infinite number. In other words Peter and the disciples were as the angels of God reapers in heaven who caught an infinite number of souls (153 fish) that were both good and bad fish.

To understand why Peter and the disciples caught 153 fish, one must understand the parable of the net that did not break that held the 153 fish stated at Matthew 13:47. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind. Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The 153 fish did not break Peter's net because all sinners from the beginning of time can not escape God's judgment. God says at Amos 9:2 Though they (lost sinners) dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

All the saved saints will be as the angels of God that separate the good fish from the bad fish in the net of 153 infinite fish. Matthew 22:30 says For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 1 Corinthians 6:2 says Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world (at the great white throne judgment)? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Remember how important it is to witness Jesus to lost sinners everywhere. If we fail to witness Jesus when the Holy Ghost compels us to tell lost sinners about Jesus, choosing to please our selfish desires, we will have to judge these lost sinners we failed to witness to and weep while we cast them into the lake of fire. Therefore make sure you tell everyone before they die how to get saved. Then it's up to that person to decide about getting saved with the Lord Jesus.

God doesn't wipe away tears and the memory of lost loved ones and friends in the lake of fire until after 1000 years in the kingdom of God. Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. If God didn't erase the bad memories of lost sinners in the lake of fire, saved saints would weep for eternity. Thankfully, in the kingdom of God all bad thoughts and memories will be removed where there will be no devil. God says at Isaiah 65:17 For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Brother Bob refuses to weep for 1000 years and tells people how to get saved
Repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

John 21:1 describes the above story. After these things Jesus shewed Himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed He Himself. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

John 21:4 goes on to say But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered Him, No. And He said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Notice that after Peter pictured above realized that Jesus was raised from the dead, Peter never quit or backed up again, and he never got naked again in public. Peter became a great man of God. Pictured above the bible says that once Peter got straightened out, Peter would walk down streets by the blind, deaf, dumb, halt, lame,  and all crippled people who laid on the sidewalk, and when Peter walked by while the sun was shining, every time Peter's shadow fell on somebody, they jumped up healed. I encourage everyone reading this to be like Peter and continue to daily go on with Jesus realizing that the blood of Jesus removes our past mistakes making us worthy to preach the gospel to the nations, irregardless of our past mistakes.

The story about the picture above of Peter's shadow healing multitudes of people is at Acts 5:14. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. No one ever walked away sick in the presence of Jesus or Peter's anointed shadow.

Revelations About John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (Cost), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish (Condition), but have everlasting life (Consequence). Behold the length: For God so loved the world. Behold the depth: That He gave His only begotten Son. Behold the breadth: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish. Behold the height: But have everlasting life.

For God (the greatest lover) so loved (the greatest degree) the world (the greatest number), that He gave (the greatest act) His only begotten Son (the greatest gift), that whosoever (the greatest invitation), believeth (the greatest simplicity) in Him (the greatest person), shall not perish (the greatest deliverance), but (the greatest difference) have (the greatest certainty) everlasting life (the greatest possession).

Note the following blessed revelations about John 3:16.  Notice that in John 3:16 we can see the word gospel. John 3:16 says For G God so loved the world, that He gave His O only begotten S Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not P perish, but have E everlasting L life. Since the word valentine appears in John 3:16, you can preach about John 3:16 on Valentine's Day. John 3:16 has 25 words and the the center word is Son or Jesus with 12 words before Son and 12 words after Son.
