Welcome Jesus And The Spirit To Move Upon You And Be Your Refuge

Wow, you might all say what is Brother Bob doing now with the above picture of a hen sitting upon and nurturing her little chicks. You can learn from a hen. Jesus showed me that the above picture relates to Genesis 1:2 which reads And the earth was without form and void. And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved (defined in hebrew as brooded) upon the face of the waters. The Spirit like the hen above, eagle, or any bird brooding over their young, brooded over the shapeless mass of earth, cherishing, and nurturing life in its creatures and man.

The Spirit of God was sitting upon the waters. It is a metaphor taken from birds or hens. They sit and move upon their eggs and bring them forth and when the babies are born, they still sit and move upon them to cherish and bring them to perfection. The Spirit of God sat or moved upon the face of the deep, that by His motion or incubation He might bring forth out of that vast chaos, the several kinds of creatures.

Saint reading this, Jesus through Brother Bob says to you the Spirit is moving upon thy heart, He is sitting and moving upon you, He is rejoicing over you. Welcome the Spirit by faith with your heart and receive today Jesus as Lord and you will become a new creature or creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Consider Jesus and the Spirit and don't let the Spirit depart from you through sin. When birds leave their eggs, the eggs come to nothing. Don't resist or quench the Spirit moving over thy soul and make the Spirit take an eternal flight away from thee.

Zephaniah 3:17 reads The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty. He will save, He will REJOICE OVER THEE with joy. He will rest in His love. He will JOY OVER THEE with singing. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. Behold, at that time, I will undo all that afflict thee. And I will save her that halteth and gather her that was driven out, and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you. For I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

Psalm 91 reads He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him will I trust. Surely, He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. HE SHALL COVER THEE WITH HIS FEATHERS AND UNDER HIS WINGS SHALT THOU TRUST. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Deuteronomy 33:27 reads The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Saint, look at the picture above and when Jesus knocks on the door of your heart and moves upon your heart by the Spirit, please open the door of your heart and proclaim Jesus as Lord of your life and believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Revelation 3:20 reads Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him and he with me.

When the Spirit cometh to thy soul by its motions, dissuading thee from sin, or stirring thee up to holiness, Jesus then knocks at the door of thy heart. Every motion is a knock from the hand of Jesus. If thou hearkenest, and openest, Jesus will come in and sup with thee and give thee life. But, if notwithstanding His knocking, thou wilt not hear, Jesus will depart from you.

Ecclesiastes 3 reads To every thing there is a season (defined in hebrew as an opportunity) and a time to every purpose (defined as something precious and a delight which is Jesus) under the heaven. Therefore everyone has opportunites or set times to receive Jesus and the Spirit because Jesus is Precious and an Eternal Delight.)

Remember saint reading this, you have now an opportunity in Jesus name to become a new creature in Jesus and born again. One becomes born again by believing with his heart that Jesus is Lord and that Jesus has risen from the dead. John 1:11-13 tells us how to be born again . The scripture reads He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME; Which were BORN, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but OF GOD.

2 Corinthians 6:2 reads For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee. Behold now is the accepted time, BEHOLD NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. Saint reading this, right now Jesus is near to you and his Spirit is moving upon thy heart and offering you His salvation. Accept in your heart Jesus as Lord and be saved right now. Don't be like Esau and the five foolish virgins and ignore the knocking of the Spirit upon your heart and come too late for the blessing to find Jesus departed. Don't be like an idle person tippling and drinking in an ale house when you should be in the market and let your opportunity to find Jesus slip away where it is too late to buy for free by faith the wine and milk of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 23:21 reads For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty. And drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Well saints here's another picture showing us all that the Spirit is above us all moving and nurturing upon us all. The picture shows the Spirit as cloven tongues like as of fire sitting upon the apostles' heads. Acts 2 reads And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven (defined as cleaving or sticking to their heads) tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them.

Saint reading this it's great to know that the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost cleaves to us and never leaves us. Fire spreads and believe that wherever you go in this life, the Holy Ghost will cleave to you and stay with you and the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost will burn away and totally remove all wickedness from around you now and forevermore.

Finally, to close out this blog I want to repost a picture of the Pool Of Bathesda. My friend Wes told me that usally when a story appears in the old testament a corresponding story will appear in the new testament. The old testament says in Genesis 1:2 that the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. Well in John 5:2 the Spirit also moved upon the pool of Bathesda and when a person got in the troubled water he was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

John 5:2 reads Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bathesda (defined as the House of Mercy where the flowing waters with curative powers will heal you) having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled (defined as moved upon by the Spirit) the water. Whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

When the heavens by the Spirit give you an opportunity to be saved, don't neglect the offer of assistance. When the Holy Ghost moveth and knocks upon your heart to stop sinning, like the angel upon the waters at the pool of Bethesda, then at that nick of time, if thou steppest down, art pliable to its motions, and may be healed.

The Spirit of God is very tender. Don't grieve Him and drive Him away. The bible tells us of several examples of people that insulted or grieved the Spirit and became lost. Acts 7:51 reads Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears. Ye do always resist the Holy Ghost. As your fathers did, so do ye.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 reads Quench not the Spirit.(defined as suppressing or extinguishing the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost.) Ephesians 4:30 reads And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Jesus is very merciful saints and gives us so many opportunities to stop sinning and live for Jesus. But remember there is also a judgment side of Jesus and at one time it will be too late and Jesus will have to destroy sin and all those that have denied Jesus as being Lord. Luke 12:5 reads But, I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear. Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say unto you, Fear Him.

But Jesus wants everyone to repent and be saved and is so merciful. Look at 2 Peter 3:9 which reads The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some men count slackness. But is long suffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Think about the time of Noah. Noah's grandfather was the oldest man to live named Methusaleh which in Hebrew is defined as when he dies the flood shall come. Methusaleh lived 969 years and was the oldest man to live on this earth. Jesus gave the people 969 years plus an extra 7 days to repent before he destroyed all people and the earth with a flood. Saint reading this Jesus has given you so much time to repent. Please make Jesus Lord of your life and stop sinning and receive eternal joy forevermore.
